Quite a little eye opener, lovely intermediate place and nice sharing boards with wine flights.will definitely go again

Went for the bottomless brunch option with bottomless cheeseboard (!) and unlimited drinks and it was fabulous! A very well presented and well stocked cheeseboard with some lovely additions such as quince jelly, walnuts etc. washed down with a delicious cocktail and several glasses of prosecco. I was so impressed, particularly as all served in such a cosy and tasteful setting and with very attentive service. Will be back!

Nice place went there with family for a quick bite to eat last June. The food was ok but nothing to write home about. The Greek salad was lacklustre a few lettuce leaves, an underripe tomato and perhaps one olive? I could give them the recipe as it’s not a difficult one to get right not expensive . Claudia Roden does a great one if you want any pointers. The atmosphere was unwelcoming and the man at the bar barely acknowledged us ( perhaps we didn’t look hip enough) He seemed irritable as though our presence was burdening an already annoying day. It looks lovely in the evenings and a great place to have an evening drink but in the daytime I expected a little more enthusiasm as we were the only customers. Perhaps a smile would not go amiss. There are other places to eat nearby and would recommend those above this place. Too snooty

Bottomless wine and cheese- what’s not to like? With fantastic service, a lovely atmosphere and some delicious cocktails it was a perfect afternoon.

Went in hoping to eat. Given a menu with next to no food listed. Several cheese. Options which would make me unwell. Just before I had to leave realised other customers were given an additional menu with lots of food options.

Lovely spot, with bags of atmosphere and super cosy. They do a great Happy Hour till 6pm. Food is limited to snacks in the evening, but with such a tiny kitchen area its understandable. You absolutely must reserve a table for Friday and saturday nights, but most other evenings should be fine to just turn up.

The bottomless brunch was amazing, great drink selection on offer, plenty of drinks and quick refills. Loads of variety on the cheeseboard, very tasty and also refilled! Lovely staff and great atmosphere.

Wonderful afternoon at sixways wine bar - staff were attentive and friendly. Loved the bottomless cheeseboard and had a mixture of prosecco, red wine and a cocktail 🍹 what more could a group of girls want?!

Met with friends for lunch. Offered 2 hour bottomless lunch which we took. Fabulous cheese board, topping up offered but not required. Great cocktails and lovely fzz and red wine. Very well looked after. Will highly recommend.

Great Service. Excellent wine and choices of beverage for such a small bar. Didn't feel too cramped although it was at full capacity when I was there. Friendly staff and a chill evening all around!

We visited here early one evening and ordered the Charcuterie Board for 2 together with a bottle of wine. Both the food and the wine were excellent and served very promptly. We were just visiting the area so do not have the luxury of being able to regularly sample the various food offerings and many wines that are available at this restaurant but should we be in the area again it is somewhere that we most certainly shall visit.

Friendly welcome for a mid-morning cappuccino and HUGE, fresh iced cinnamon bun.

Good wine ( that makes a change from some other places) and reasonably priced good food (we had the mixed sharing board). We sat in the sunshine in the secret garden. Excellent service ensured we had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch.

Perfect. Had coffee here. Tidy and cosy. Outside tables and a secret garden! Wine and much more.

Went with our son and his wife who live nearby for a light lunch. Very nice. Great service and lots of attention to detail. The soup was delicious. It was coffee o’clock for me but I’d like to go back at wine o’clock!

Excellent food and selection of wines and other drinks. We usually have the Combination Sharing platter of cheese and meats, pickles etc etc, tremendous selection and amble to share with a good bottle of Malbec. Service is always attentive and prompt. Had lunch here yesterday after finding them on TripAdvisor. We sat in the 'secret garden' which was quiet & shady on a very hot day. The wine was great and the mixed platter was incredible with a selection of cheeses, meats, chutneys, breads, crackers and other bits. Would highly recommend. This will be a new favourite from now on.

This is a great out of town place to visit. The sharing boards are fantastic and the wine list is extensive. We had a table booked at 6pm and Holly & Kylie looked after us so amazingly that we didn’t leave until closing time 😁

Cost, intimate and a go to for a really great glass of wine and nibbles. The secret garden is a gorgeous addition! Recommend for couples.

Great, cosy wine bar that serves good coffee and light snacks for lunch or in the evening. Good selection of competitively priced gins and also bottles to take away. Its easy to find parking nearby as well. Friendly staff who care about customers adds to the overall experience. The character of the bar helps it be good for lunchtime coffee and evening drinks.

Called in for a drink and something to eat. Initial 3 choices of a glass of wine unavailable and a very restricted menu , mainly cheese and meats, available. The guy on duty very pleasant but generally very disappointing.

Posh everywhere love it but posh too posh

We finally got to try this place this place out with a couple of friends - it’s been on the list for quite a while. They serve a nice range of reasonably priced wines without too much hype (but a smile) and also a very good cheeseboard. Well worth a return visit.

Visited sixways wine bar with my fiancé and we’ll definitely be returning! The wines and gins were amazing with fantastic variety. But what made it for us was the two young gentlemen behind the bar Ollie and Harry. We had a long chat with them where they gave us wonderful recommendations and made us feel very welcome as well as everyone else in the bar! In my opinion it’s the staff that make a bar when it’s small like this one and in this case these two definitely do! Can’t wait to go back

El vino es bueno Puedes comprar un vino excelente por copa, pero teníamos una botella y nos llevamos otra a casa, fue tan bueno. También hacen una buena selección de gins. La tabla de quesos es todo lo que usted podría desear, quesos, galletas, selección de pan, uvas, chutneys, mantequilla y queso de membrillo fabulosamente elegidos. Esta fuente lo tiene todo. La decoración es sencilla y relajada con las luces de hadas que le dan un hermoso ambiente centelleante sobre todo. Incluso puedes sentarte afuera bajo lindos calentadores de patio. Me encanta ver a las pequeñas empresas haciendo algo especial, esto es especial y justo en su puerta.

Popped in at last!Lovely warm and cosy atmosphere, beautifully decorated and welcoming staff. We sat in the window enjoying a couple of gins before dinner in “The Looking Glass” just 2 doors down. Will be back for one of their charcuterie boards which looked delicious and was highly recommended by the couple next to us.

We popped in for lunch as we were keen to try out our Orka card. The card loyalty scheme offers a cheese or wine board plus a caraffe of house wine, red or white, for £20. The mixed cheese and meat board (which we had) carries a £3 extra supplement.Overall, we enjoyed the generous mixed board and the wine. Service was excellent and friendly. The loos were clean too, which is always a big plus!Highly recommended, whether you just want a light lunch or you could try out the extensive wine and gin offerings. We thought great value as well.

Amazing atmosphere and the decoration was excellent. We find it hard these days to find good wine by the glass. Well hear you can! Next time we are local we will be poping in again!

Small wine bar in Charlton kings. Very attractive decor, particularly when fairy lights all on. Relaxing atmosphere. Great choice of wines and gins. Both friend and I had a meat board - generous helping and very tasty and well presented.

Had a great visit here with my Grand-son, Never believed there was too many gins out-there, Andrew & Josh really knew their stuff & really felt looked after by them and advising me through their fab collection. Great work, Great Meat & Cheese Platter, Great place, will return!

This is a great place to go for a night out as a couple or a small group of friends - loads of lovely wines to choose from (and expert advice!) also spoiled for choice with an array of gins! We had a lovely cheese and meat board. The coffee and cakes afterwards were also fab. It’s going to become a regular haunt for me!

Visited this evening after cycling past a few times on my travels. Had a crisp Sancerre, whilst chilling with a book in their outside area. Attentive, friendly, but not invasive staff. I had a relaxed evening and will definitely return soon; maybe for a chill, maybe for a bit of noise; definitely for fine wine by the glass. Thank you.

Lovely small wine bar in an area that is lacking in finess! Serves cheese & meat platters & Cake. Coffee cups are far too large, nd not good at cappuchino's! Shame Soho coffee is not used as this is a local company and a great coffee to boot! Not enough choice regarding the cheeses either. Lots of speciality n on offer though.

My wife and I attended an Excellent informal "Rose Wines Tasting" and a small but "Very Good Cheese Board" last night at Sixways Wine Bar in Cheltenham.The 8 Rose' Wines tasted, ranged from the well-known "Laurent Perrier Champagne", to some un-usual artisan produced wines. As it often happen at wine tastings, the quality of the wines ranged from Excellent to quite Average!The welcoming was first class and the atmosphere most congenial and relaxed.

What a wonderful find! A lovely little gin/wine bar on the London Road, quite small but very cosy. We didn't food but the boards they were serving looked amazing. Nice outside area with patio heaters, all in all a lovely little place well worth a visit!

I visited with a friend on a Thursday night for a drink and we really enjoyed it. There was a buzzing atmosphere, mostly small groups or couples; there is not that much space but it did not feel cramped, although was quite noisy.The choice of gins and wines is amazing - the rhubarb and ginger gin would definitely convert a non-gin drinker! Very efficient service - order at the bar and they bring it to you in beautiful goldfish bowl glasses.We did not eat as we had already had dinner but the food platters (and cakes!) looked lovely and there were lots of people eating. Would definitely go again, but may try at a less busy time. Excellent friendly service.

This lovely warm wine bar is a great welcomed addition to our locality.There is a good atmosphere with cosy seating. The wines are very tasty and the lager is perfect. They also serve good teas and coffees and cheeseboard.Well worth a visit, we'll be back.

Visited with friends mid week having heard good reports. The wine was very good and sensibly priced and the cheeseboard was outstanding value for money. The only criticism I have is that the bar stools are rather uncomfortable to sit on, but apart from that, this is an excellent venue and we shall certainly return. Highly recommended.

Great place to meet friends or just a cosy drink for two.

Absolutely lovely place. I've been here in several guises. For morning coffee which is delicious (and open on a Sunday.) An evening with friends. Very cosy, pretty lighting and decor in the evening. Can't fit loads of people in (I think 8 of us squeezed round the table.) But in a way this makes it nice because its never crowded and noisy. Delicious gin - I'm not a huge wine buff. And as a couple, we enjoyed drinks and a cheese board. Again very intimate, calm and just lovely. I have always had a such a nice time here.

I visited here for the first time last week with work friends and had a wonderful experience! It’s the type of place that you would happily spent hours at! The tables were rather small and I accidentally smashed a plate when it fell off the table ‍♀️ but being quite a little bar I think they’ve used the space available to them brilliantly! Everyone loved the Gin and Wine available/ and the food platters were faultless! The staff were really attentive and pleasant, so thank you to them for making our evening so comfortably and lovely. Highly recommend!!

What a wonderful little place. Went in for a few drinks with a friend and the atmosphere is perfect, very chill, lovely decor and the service is the perfect level of attentive and laid back. We had the house white which was lovely. Didn't have any of the platters but they looked lovely. I think this may become a regular haunt of mine when I'm back in Cheltenham!
