Went to Six By Nico to celebrate my husband's birthday. The 6 courses were diverse and we loved each one. Some of the sauces and garnishes were our highlights. Food was presented well and staff were attentive to our needs, replacing our cutlery and water without us having to ask. We throughly enjoyed our experience and feel the prices is justified for the amount of care and thought put into each dish. A good place to celebrate a special occasion. Only criticism is that we were placed in a corner of the restaurant behind a wall so couldn't enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant. I did mention this was my husband's birthday so a better seating location or a message on our dessert would have been a nice touch.

I am not one to ever leave a bad review, unfortunately Six by Nico does seem to be all smoke and mirrors. - We were left for 20 mins before a waiter even came over to us. - As I had seen the courses on *influencers* social media accounts before it was obvious ours was of a different standard, even missing some items which were on menu? - Once they got started the course came like a fast food restaurant with about 3 minutes in-between, courses would come with our previous plates still on the menu, not ok. - Waiters would reel off what was in the dish so fast you couldn’t catch a word, the restaurant is so busy they are clearly struggling to keep up with demand. - The dishes themselves were a let down, this was due to the lack in presentation compared to online and generally the missing elements. (This was not the add one we paid extra for these.) - I did mention in my booking and on the day it was my partners birthday, they did nothing to even acknowledge this. ( This is minor but still shows the lack of quality.) I was really hoping this would be a special meal to remember unfortunately we left disappointed having spent over £250 for 2 people we had average food and service, this isn’t a place I would recommend. Tip - if you are going to pay influences to advertise dishes, keep up the standard for paying guests. Please Note - I do not feel the waiters/ chefs are to blame for the above notes, generally they were of a good standard however they are clearly being stretched by management to sit as many tables in an evening as possible, therefore diluting the quality of food and service. Overall experience 4/10

We had been told about Six by Nico by several friends though not this particular branch. The concept is a set tasting menu that changes cuisine every few months. Currently Catalan (Spanish) The food was very good. Particularly the pollock, and the trio of tomato course. Our main waiter was Karen friendly, chatty innovative. Other staff were lovely too. One slight gripe having been shown to our table we were left for at least 10 minutes. As one of us is disabled we'd asked for a table that was accessible. No problem and it was near the disabled toilet. The toilet itself has all the necessary assistance equipment. But it was off a poorly lit corridor not ideally for disabled people with sight issues.

We had a beautiful dinner in Six by Nico Fitzrovia tonight. There were a couple of stumbling blocks due to miscommunication during a shift change but the staff went out of their way to try and make up for it and they were really embarrassed about it. Everyone there is lovely and the food, ambience and drinks are all really high quality. We’ll be back!

We liked some of the food, not all of it. The matching wines were excellent. What really makes this place is the staff. They are friendly, helpful and informative.

Fantastic food and wine tasting in the heart of London even though i believe it was a bit overpriced. Six by Nico is offering on a monthly basis a different themed set of courses accompanied with the right wine. The experience was very interesting and it all came in a manner that had a story to tell. The wine quality and quantity is quite good, however the food might require a slight increase on quantity. Plan to have around 70-80£ pp, so If your budget does not allow it, suggest a team building activity to your boss ;)

Fabulous evening spent with friends here enjoying the tasting menu paired with wines. It’s busy, it’s original and it is - most importantly - fun! Don’t take it too seriously, enjoy the beautiful dishes (I especially loved the spin on the cacio e pepe from the Roman menu) and revel in the fact that you can now eat at a premium London restaurant for £35 a head. It was a Saturday night at the height of service and so our food took a little longer than usual (though we were having too much fun to notice) so they quickly made up for this with a complimentary glass of wine. I will be thinking about the slow-cooked pork and goats cheese pasta for days… and we shall return for the next menu!

The waiter tried to tell me they deserve a Michelin star, I laughed. Food that tries and miserably fails. presentation is ok, food is unbalanced and flavours entirely lost. Rushed service, untrained staff. Trying to recite the item and explaining the wine pairing made me cringe. ‘The x notes complains no uh compliments the uh uh uh rhubarb, no the ice cream’ If you enjoy fine dining stay as far away as possible.

We received a warm welcome, excellent service and outstanding food at a reasonable price. This was the first night of the ‘Once Upon a Time’ menu, which we thoroughly enjoyed with wine matched to each course (optional). Everything was to the highest standard. Staff were personable, friendly, welcoming and informative. There are veggie options for each course. The layers of flavours were brilliantly thought through and executed. The wines made the whole dining experience exceptional. It was a perfect way to celebrate my wife’s birthday (which was made even more special by the staff!) Thoroughly recommended

Service was great. Despite the restaurant being packed, everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and took time to explain the dishes and wine. Service is bit fast as reservations tend to be for 2 hours, especially if get an additional snack course. Food was delicious and wine pairings great. Portions were good size and we were stuffed by the end. For £75 for 6 courses and 5 wines is unbelievable value. Can’t wait to head back - they bring out a new menu with a new concept every 6 weeks.

This is a review for the canary wharf restaurant, that doesnt seem to have a tripadvisor page yet. The chippie was an amazing experience. We didnt have the wine pairing as we are not huge wine drinkers, gin and tonic instead. We had the 6 dishes plus the snack, everything was delicious. My favourite the fried mars bar amazing. The scampi, beef and fish supper were tied as my 2nd favourite. Everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was really friendly and efficient. Lovely decor. My husband is a chef, and he is hard to please, and he loved everything. Probably we will try to visit the one in Fitzrovia next time!

We had a lovely lunch here last weekend. I didn’t know what to expect as it was quite reasonable, £35 for 6 courses fine dining. But they delivered and the food was really good, service very efficient and atmosphere was great. Some might have found it rushed but we were ok about it and we understood that they wanted to get in as many covers as possible. We thought that it was great value and we will definitely come back. We are seasoned diners, real foodies but not snobs, we will eat 3 Michelin stars or a kebab from the local kebab shop...as long as it’s good. And this is good, try it! My 11 year old loved it!

A very good concept and delightful food. I think the price for the food is fair - our meal was lovely though as can be expected not that filling. The restaurant can get busy and therefore rather noisy. I thought the choice of wines was rather limited however service was fast and waiting staff all lovely and very knowledgable.
