Lovely tearoom hidden away between St David’s and Fishguard. We didn’t eat, we only stopped for a drink and looked around the shop and collectables. Well worth a visit.

Found this little place on google maps when looking for a lunch stop and it did not disappoint. Even though it was midweek and well off off the beaten track the place was fairly full so shows how popular it is with both locals and travellers! There is a huge selection to suit everyone from snacks, sandwiches, filled jackets to full meals with plenty of specials. Mr W had toastie and I had coronation chicken sandwich which was very generous in size and amount of filling and they came with crisps and a side salad The homemade cakes are delicious too as couldn't resist a piece of coffee and walnut for afters! Toilets were clean and there is a "collectibles" shop next door if that's your thing. Plenty of parking outside but do note that they're closed Monday and Tuesdays Overall though not the cheapest lunch option around the food was excellent quality and good value.

This little tearoom looks fabulous, very pretty, clean and tidy with fabulous looking cakes. Sadly although it was only about 1/4 full the male server refused to make me a coffee or allow me to buy a cake to eat outside. He did however apologise and make it extremely clear that they were full and were very short of staff, hence refusing to serve me. Having walked 6miles & needing a break & sugar fix I was extremely disappointed; luckily the pub opposite was welcoming. Although my review is poor due to the lack of service I would still recommend giving the tearoom a go, perhaps not on a busy Sunday thou!

Amazing cafe to visit. We have been here over and over again. Fresh food and the bread is homemade and thick. I'm not a bread fan but I am at this place. My fave is the coronation chicken and the lattes are lovely. Service is good even when busy and we feel relaxed when we come here and no need to rush. The cakes and deserts are wonderful too. The custard slices are a fave with us and we have to order more to take home to family. Infact we intend to go next werk again as writing this review is making us drool. Also the antique shop is adjoined and always worth a look.

We visited this establishment on a recomendation from our son, who loved their afternoon tea. We decided to have a late lunch followed by a piece of cake. We opted for the all day breakfast which was really tasty. Unfortunately we were stuffed and could not manage the cake. As someone who loves Victoria sandwich and my cake of choice, I could not leave it behind, so we had two slices to go. We have now had the cake with our evening food and can say it was extremely fresh and tasty. Indeed I cannot remember when I last had Victoria Sandwich that was a good as this.

Great COVID 19 measures in place with hand sanitiser stations placed around the tearoom, as well as the one way system they have in place. We were greeted by lovely members of staff in PPE and an older gentleman ( possibly the owner ) who was very pleasant and helpful. Tables were spaced well to accommodate us under the circumstances with good distancing, or Alternatively there is nice outdoor seating available. Service was fast and efficient, everything we needed was catered for with a very well thought out menu, it catered for everyone's dietary needs including my daughter who is Gluten Free. Our Cakes and puddings were homemade and very delicious.Overall it was a very enjoyable visit to the tea rooms, we will definitely be visiting again.

My partner and I visited today to meet with his mother for lunch. Out of seven tables, two were occupied on one side of the room, the other side of the room was empty. Clearly some Covid awareness was in place. However we were asked to sit between the two groups of people. On asking if we could move to the other, empty side of the room we were told no, the tables are booked, so we sat down without further ado, no fuss made. Our request was made out of consideration for the other cafe users, and social distancing. What we didn’t expect was an older man, probably the owner, approach our table, lean over us, maskless, and tell us if we didn’t like the table we could leave. It was totally unnecessary and quite unpleasant as we had already sat down. Really uncalled for. We didn’t expect this confrontation when we asked a simple question, and trying to be responsible human beings. The only mask wearer was the waitress, good for her.I won’t be returning, I choose to give my business to those that treat customers kindly, fairly, and with at least some degree of respect. The food was apparently quite good, service from the waitress was good too, but only 3 stars have been awarded because customer care was unpleasant from those that should know better.

Had asked for just plain sandwiches of ham or cheese which we had, with a nice selection of cakes, followed by warm scones, Welsh cakes, jam and cream and small cup with jelly and cream to finish. Excellent food and lovely staff. Was even given box to take home what we couldn't finish. Will definitely return. Hopefully soon. Thanks to you all.

On Mother's Day this place was heaving - and the other clients seems to be enjoying the huge afternoon teas, which seemed to come with multiple types of cakes, sandwiches and jelly. We only wanted a cupppa, and to try the welsh cakes and bara brith. The latter came as a skinny and very dry piece - maybe the end of a loaf. In this rather stark tea room, it was not memorable - although in fairness other diners seemed to be enjoying their fare.

Was looking forward to our visit after being told by locals how nice it was, finding ourselves in the area we decided to drop in. However, when we asked for afternoon tea for two the answer we got was a sullen 'no'. I honestly thought it was a joke and he'd then say, 'of course, what selection would you like?'. Nope, just 'you have to book'. One has to wonder why then, as a tea shop, the sign outside advertises 'afternoon tea', and the menu has it emblazoned across its width (small print does say booking advisable, but that's rather late if you're passing trade as we were!). Subsequently we were given a few minutes to choose something else, even then the waiter, I believe he was the owner, barely gave us a minute! Anyway we chose some other food, which was good, so no fault there, and the waitress was pleasant. So it's a mixed review, good food, afternoon tea looked frustratingly lovely from what we could see from those who knew to book. But for a more pleasant service I'll be off to The Farmers Arms just across the road!

With the ever present fear of a bad 'trip advisor' review there are far too many proprietors living in fear and compromising their values. The guy who runs this place is clearly local through and through and not afraid of telling somebody's kids they're being obnoxious or telling somebody they're taking the piss. I like that. The cakes are top notch and the tea hot and strong. My boyfriend, his old man and I come by for a coffee stop on the bikes and love hearing the old boys' stories. If you want to support a local business and have fresh food then give this place a whirl. If you want little Freddie to get a pat on the head for being a little t#*t then maybe stick to Pizza Express.

We booked an afternoon tea here and we were not disappointed. Lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. Also great service, nothing was too much trouble and plenty of tea flowing as well. The cakes, scones etc were as a light as a feather and just the right portion size.We will definitely be making a return visit and I would recommend booking, it was quite busy when we were there. Finally I really do want to compliment this little tea room on its service. I spent the Easter holidays at various places across Pembrokeshire (we are local) and I got increasingly frustrated by the amount of miserable and rude staff at various establishments so it was a refreshing change to be served by happy smiley people! Personally I think we should all start voting with our feet and cash and not accept miserable service when we are parting with our hard earned cash. Fab afternoon - thank you.

Rare to find a cafe that has as many vegetarian options as this, home made glamorgan sausages were superb, along with hearty portion size and good service.Definitely worth a detour. Life is short, Eat Cake !

The cafe is clean and bright with wonderful views across to Preseli. The normal food is good wholesome fare with home-cooked ham a specialty but the afternoon tea is a work of art. we are grateful to the proprietors for adding to the range of food outlets in the area and doing so so well. It has become regular haunt of ours. The service is always so friendly and helpful.

Not the place to go if you have children, if your children make a bit of a mess under the table you will likely be asked to leave, very rude man, had to cut time short there and leave math my two and one year old, never been so offended and embarrassed. Plus it definitely isn't worth the prices anyway

This place is a lovely little stop off and the food and drink are great value. However, the quality of the hot food wasn't amazing and the atmosphere seemed strange - possibly due to being out of season.

Just returned from the most sumptuous afternoon tea at this delightful tea rooms. The quality and the assortment of sandwiches, cakes, scones and jelly together with a pot of Earl Grey tea made this a delightful stop for tea. The lovely couple who run this tearoom keep it immaculate and are extremely welcoming and pleasant. The quality of the food is always excellent. This tearoom is always value for money. To my mind this must be the best tearoom in Wales.

Came here at it was a local place which I had passed the sign for many times. Ordered the Full breakfast and Were not disappointed! Lovely bright room, friendly service and tasty food. Once we'd finished our breakfast we went for a look around the shop . Loads of quirky little niknaks. Came out with a HandMade Scented Candle :)We will be back for a second visit.

This is our second stay in Mathry and decided to do the same as we did the last time to have breakfast on our last day before travelling home. We both had the big breakfast which comes with drinks and toast. It is such good value and is delicious the sausages and the bacon are something else yummy. The staff here are friendly and the gentleman owner is really lovely, laughing when we said we may be back in march after catching me playing with his record player in the antiques centre. This is a must if your in the area, it is very clean and fresh and very pleasant. Hopefully be back soon.

We were staying in the local area and stopped off for breakfast. Lovely bright airy cafe with great service and the breakfast was excellent. Liked it so much we came back again. Excellent selection of cakes and they also do what looks like a lovely afternoon tea. Would recommend a visit if you're in the area.

I stopped her with my husband for cooked breakfast everything was lovely, great produce spotlessly clean. My only criticism would be the need to drain off some of the surplus grease from food before plating. Not a massive deal, as there wasn't much , but would have made all the difference. Would definitely go back.

Luckily we had heard that this was a good place because from the outside it looks very ordinary. However, the menu is both more detailed and interesting than most similar places of this type. I had the crab fishcakes which were excellent, even included chilli - wow! The rest of the family had salads or other classic lunch fare and all showed that little bit of extra attention to detail which puts Siop Fach above the ordinary. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to return for their afternoon tea, we'll have to do that next year!

Called in here again this year on a wet day. Place was busy with a mixture of locals and holiday makers. We had a pleasant light lunch and browsed the vintage china and other things in the shop area.Overall a good place place to stop.

Traditional, characterful pub owned and run by a decent man. Good local customers and selection of drinks. No food but if you want a welcome where you dont have to feel like a holidaymaker, this place is for you.

It was a rainy Sunday in Pembrokeshire. We were hungry, and a Google search pointed this place out. We almost knew what to expect and fancied a chinnese. Anyone with physical limitations do not try to access. No lights to the path and pitch dark. Once you're in it's cold and sparse. A few tables to accommodate sit downs but this place runs mostly on take aways. The cook was very busy. A young man taking orders, serving and dealing with customers coming in and out. Bit chaotic. We kept our coats on ate our dishes, which were nicer than expected. Worth a venture ... some fun a bit like faulty towers. We would go back.
