Comfy and stylish coffee shop near the station. Great tasting coffee at a reasonable price and delicious welsh cakes! Dog friendly and has a small outside terrace too.

Visited this place 3 times in as many days whilst visiting the area. Lovely cafe, really clean, pretty decor, vast menu. The coffee was excellent, as were the different cakes we enjoyed each time! The sponge was one of the lightest cakes I’ve ever had, clearly homemade and as fresh as it gets. Friendly service. Well worth a visit (or three!)

Stopped after ZipWorld to grab a coffee and cake to replenish energy. A friendly barrista served us even though we stumbled just before closing. Cake selection was great, spoilt for choice and all looked tempting. Caramel brownie deserves a note as was gooey, not too sweet, very chocolatey. Coffee was good too. Just what we needed!!

I absolutely love North Wales and I absolutely love great tasting coffee. You might think 🤔 getting a properly made cappuccino in a coffee shop in Wales would be easy. I assure you now, it’s not. The reason is poorly trained baristas who lack the frothing techniques required to make the variety coffees we all enjoy now. To my absolute delight, I found this coffee shop tucked away in Blaenau Ffestiniog .. ( if you haven’t already visited.. it’s just up the road from Porthmadog and well worth a visit) I encountered a woman called Helen on my first visit and I ordered a cappuccino.. I knew as I stood at the counter watching her frothing the milk 🥛 for my cappuccino that I had finally found a professional barista who knows how a proper cappuccino should be made. If you decide to visit North Wales 🏴 go visit this coffee shop in Blaenau Ffestiniog .. it’s a little diamond of a place… Scotty.

We went here as it was easy to ge to from the train station and we were glad we did. The lady that served us was lovely, her Victoria Sandwich cake was absolutely gorgeous not just in looks but in taste, it was light and spongy, lots of taste - liked it so much took what was left of it back with us (sorry to anyone who got there on the 1st September and found non left) The place was spotless, they allow dogs in - as long as they behave, the ataff are friendly and happy to help in any way. Would definitely recommend this as somewhere to go if you are in Blaenau Ffestiniog

Stopped off here on a warm Friday morning. The drinks were lovely, and the customer service is fantastic. I was even offered extra for my drink because they’d made more than they intended to. We had ice cream, with a variance of options to choose from. Lots of cakes and snacks to choose from too. The shop is lovely, lots of local products and their own brand too! Cute location surrounded by nice views, not too far from Zip World Slate Caverns. The whole place has a really relaxed vibe to it, and the decor and layout is so nice too! Really enjoyed our visit here and will be coming again in future.

Walking up the high street in Blaenau Ffestiniog, stopped off at Siop Antur for a Hot Chocolate and snacks for the kids, sitting on the picnic tables outside. Helpful Barista who also took many of the photos inside for sale, so we brought a couple of those as well. Lots of local info inside. Good quality, friendly service - plus an excellent drink. We will certainly be back.

Food and drink fab, no complaints here. It’s just the woman behind the counter that spoils the place, late forties I think , heard ond of the locals call her El? Or maybe Hel, WOW she needs to smile more, not much conversation , not very nice just grumpy and rude. Deffo needs a new job cos obviously does’nt like working here.

Although this is listed on TA simply as a cafe, there is much more to enjoy here. It is a very nice looking place that combines cafe, gift shop, arts and crafts, and an insight to local history and culture. The latter is primarily via an exhibition of photos about the town, the slate works and the people who have lived and worked here over the generations. It is very well done and we found it most interesting. We didn’t stay for coffee but met the charming lady who works here and who served us when we bought some nice slate coasters from the gift shop. Wot? Slate from Blaenau Ffestiniog? It just had to be done! This is a really nice place and I highly recommend it - whether just for coffee or for everything else it has to offer.

Cafe run by a local enterprise for locals and tourists alike. Includes a craft shop and clothing department which are very popular with visitors. The cafe serves snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic), including lovely selection of coffees. The service at Antur 'Stiniog is always pleasant and very efficient. An art gallery, (no charge) is also situated here. Positioned conveniently right in the centre of Blaenau Ffestiniog, very near the Ffestiniog and Conwy Valley Railway stations. Well worth a visit.

Called in for a warm cuppa on an icy day, such a lovely welcome and one of the best cups of tea I've had in a very long time. Combined with a lovely shop and art gallery and friendly locals, I just can't fault this place. So much so, that when passing through the town the following day we made a point of stopping to go back for another visit - this time including a delicious hot cheese scone and a few tips to help with our attempts to learn Welsh. Can't think of anything bad to say about this lovely little cafe.

The absolute best cakes I've ever tasted , they do a lovely little raspberry cake that to die for, the raspberry ripple ice cream is amazing, friendly staff, dogs allowed inside to which is a bonus for us, for me the coffee is just not hot enough but I do like my drinks boiling hot, and a larger coffee than the regular would be good too, the coffee itself it's one of the nicest I've tasted.

I've always had difficulty finding a good place for lunch (in Porthmadog) so Breaktimes (despite being on an industrial estate: glad I didn't let that put me off) was perfect: great food, friendly service, pricing good for nowadays and for the quality of the food. It's also licensed which is a real bonus after shopping in Porthmadog or coming here for a day out by train. We were also able to take our dog but I think we could only sit outside (?) so I'm glad it was a good day. Our waitress immediately brought her a bowl of water which was such a nice touch. Our food was excellent (Penang sweet potato curry for me, and a very good beefburger for husband). I've since told friends about/highly recommended Breaktimes and look forward to my next Porthmadog outing just for lunch 'out'!

This is such a great spot to grab a quick coffee whilst walking along the prom and soaking up the view. I managed to resist the cakes but they look awesome!
