The staff are amazingly genuine and show care for their customers and the food is always served incredibly quickly. I went here last night and after giving a small tip, they responded by offering me a free drink and made sure to stuff more chips and cheese into my order. Will always come back

Real let down! Meat in tiny bits and greasy and pitta soggy and forgot the mayonnaise on both. Used to be a lovely place!!!!!

Great food, everyone always go there and never stops talking about it, if someone mentioned 1988, everyone is ordering straight away. bosh. But did order salad with my burger today but had non on me burger when arrived but meal still nice

Been buying from here for years; today, was a delivery. They are usually very good. Today??? Pathetic. What ever you do, do not order pulled chicken kebab. It's just minced, processed rubbish slapped in a pitta and that smells of cat sick. They used to do chicken doner. Seems like they are cutting costs. Lamb doner tasted of nothing and was cold. No salad in the kebab although requested. Ten chilli's in a plastic box with onion and cabbage. That was actually fresh and OK and as requested. Pitta was stale and a small one, although this was a large kebab. What has happened to this place??? Oh yeah, £14.09 for one large doner delivered!!!! Something is really wrong with this place at the moment.

Uncooked empty vegan wrap. £10 and it was empty and uncooked and freezing….! Terrible quality! Never again! Can’t believe it even left the shop!

The best kebabs in Winchester. Go here regularly for a kebab and am never disappointed. The food is beautifully fresh and tasty and service is very swift (even though there is often a long queue). Recently found out that they deliver and the food came quickly and the extra instructions that I had put on the order were followed perfectly.

Rang up to chase up an order after two hours of waiting...was ten told it had been delivered to a different address. I then asked for my order to be redelivered or for a refund, to say I was shocked would be an understatement...I was told over the phone that this issue was "not their problem". After lengthy discussions over the issue I was told that its no one's problem and I would not be receiving a refund. The money for the order has been taken out of my account and i have never seen worse customer service or been treated worse by staff in my life.

We have ordered food from this place before and have never had any issues until today. We ordered a large kebab and chips as well as a gourmet burger with curly fries and cheese sauce when are delivery arrived the kebab was not even half the size of what you would expect a small kebab to look like, the salad was in a separate container without any dressing and was cold. The burger arrived with a tiny portion of curly fries, which were also cold, and there was no cheese sauce. Infuriated by this we called the restaurant and told them the appalling state of our food they responded by saying that they would send out someone immediately with a replacement order. On arrival however they the previous meal something they hadn't told us we would have to provide on the phone. Being not in the mood to give them back their food as I did not see it necessary they then refused to give me the replacement food and left. He would not even give me the cheese sauce for my chips that I had paid £1 extra for. This restaurant is a sorry excuse for a kebaby.

Food missing, phoned up and said they will deliver straight away, food NEVER arrived. Why have they changed their name? Is it due to all the other comments when known as Winchester Kebab?

Food arrived before estimated delivery time. Food was very good quality and warm, with good portion sizes. Would definitely recommend.

The kebabs are great. Juicy and tasty with loads of fresh salad. Sauce on the side? No problem! The burgers too are so darn good. We've had them all over the past few weeks and each of the gourmet burgers are fantastic. The double decker one is enormous and only really suitable when you just gotta eat big!Packaging has been upgraded. Gone are the styrafoam boxes, replacedwith sturdy cardboard for the burgerz and plastic lidded compartmemented trays for the kebabs. Havent tried the pizza yet. Will do that soon!

The food here tastes amazing (especially the curly fries), and when you deliver the food gets here fast. Great place would 100% recommend.

Since 1988 is definitely one of the best takeaways around Winchester! Food is always wonderful, prices are great and it always arrives early! One of the few we trust!

This takeaway is open later than all other takeaways in Winchester on Just Eat. The food always arrives hot, and also offers cold food such as Ben and Jerry’s. They rarely make mistakes and always replace missing food swiftly. I personally recommend the nice pizzas, that are buy 1 get 1 free

Worst kebab ive ever had, soggy pita and nasty tasting mixed donner, rude staff that forgot our drinks and refused to admit he was in the wrong, the type of guy that makes you want to commit a crime to help out the rest of humanity, take my advice DO NOT USE.

Ordered Kanye Jerk Burger Meal and Chicken Burger meal. The Kanye Jerk Burger meal was delicious, and full of flavour. The Chicken Burger meal was also fantastic. Wold 100% reccommend.

Ordered a chicken burger meal. Was good. However, ordered “Mediterranean Rice”. It was just plain rice. Plain boiled rice. Could’ve cooked myself. Cost £2.45. No flavours. No spice. No “Mediterranean”. Not even a pinch of salt. Shocked. Appalled. Disappointed. LS
