Way too hot for the prawn dishes. Couldn't eat them. The heat spoiled the taste of the dishes. Won't be ordering them again.

All dishes were cold, chips were stale & I had 4 pieces of lamb in my cold masala dish. Plus it took an hour and 40 minutes to arrive. Poor food & poor delivery, will not be ordering from here again.

Hard to find half descent indian takeaway in area this ticks most boxes.

Great portions, delivered straight when the food was just made, served hot with lots of steam when we opened the containers- the first Indian takeaway we have ordered so far can do it even tho it is 2.1miles away. Generally the tastes are great, we love the suicidal hot Phal and vindaloo, thick sauce, rich flavour. Karachi was a bit watery but flavour still there. We will recommend the Lamb as it was still very tender till we finished the whole curry. Chicken was a bit overcooked, but acceptable

Added delivery time, was disappointed so collected myself and saved an hour. Bought the 2 person deal and only got 1 little salad. Near the end of ordering said had a free item, had a choice of 2 and selected a Naan, but this wasn’t included and when checked bill was no where to be seen so not sure I didn’t select it correctly. Chicken Tikka Masala tasted very coconutty, like they used a Korma base, pretty odd. But it was very tasty and we ate it all.

The curry i ordered is totally different, there is no pea in mater paneer

So I finally decided to leave a review and I have to say Food was amazing like always, just wish there was more chicken in the curries and things wasn’t being forgotten sometimes but every time there was a problem they sorted it out no problems so I will be ordering from here more often =D

Tasty food and delivered on time

As Indians eating Indian food we would expect the food to be made better. In the chicken balti there was 7dry chicken pieces in a large dish, the nan filling for one was supposed to be keema, there was hardly anything in it, garlic and coriander and had no taste. The starter veg bundle-one tiny samosa, one tiny bhaji, one small spring roll. the fish karhi, was more Karhi sauce then pieces, saag paneer, was another hunt to find pieces. Over all £30+ not worth it. Won’t order here again.

My last 2 orders have been wrong. Stating no CORRINDER methi or onion in my food and both occastions came with all in it i am allergic to these so couldnt eat it 😢 and my order was missing items

There was a few things missing from order and the free naan bread.The food as always was gorgeous have always used simply Indian and will again im just hoping they were extremely busy and its a one off

Absolutely lovely curries. Phall strength garlic bhuna hit the spot and the pathia madras strength was a good middle ground sweet and spicy. A great meal. Only curry place we ever use because it always arrives nice and hot and delivered by a friendly driver. Can’t ask more than that. Thank you

The Korma was good, the chilli chicken was good. The nan and chapati also good. The Tarka Daal was like watery soup and had no taste. Also forgot our poppadoms.

Food was not worth for the price. In the name of starters they are serving main dish. They put too much oil or butter in the food. It's not worth ordering from them.

Food not up to normal standards, chicken tikka masala watery, chicken padina alot spicier than normal. Delivery was 35 minutes later than expected meaning we waited almost 2 hours on a Tuesday evening . Restaurant dismissive on the phone

We have ordered from here twice now food has come very quickly and boiling hot. The curries are amazing. They’re a little bit watery but still they’re really tasty. The rice the chips or the side dishes are superb. Couldn’t say a bad thing about them.

Ordered peshwari naan and got garlic. Sag paneer was lovely but mains were disappointing. Phall was pure chilli powder heat, not cooked with chilli's, should be spicy and smoky with the heat coming thru, for £13, more than 4 King prawns would have been nice. Disappointing overall

Ordered five meals the three chicken dishes were ordered as tikka and only chicken arrived, phoned the restaurant yesterday and explained situation.There answer was what do you want me to do about it! They then took my number and said the manager would ring back.I then rang at @ 10 pm and I was told the manager had not come in yet. That was nearly 24 hours ago

Curry was extremely watery and found a curly hair in the food, we do not have curly hair. Chicken was completely dry. Shame as used to be good food here and this experience has put me off.

First and last time ordering I’m afraid. The chicken tikka was watery with no flavour and the mixed kebab just tasted of pure salt. Truly awful

The food came early witch was great, the packaging and temperature of the food was spot on, I orders the meal deal for 1 which was reasonable priced and the portion size is enough to feet 2 people baby Evan 3, the food was good but was almost to spiced to enjoy, I ordered the mild and it was still quite hot witch is surprising seeing as there are two heat levels above. The curry itself had some good flavour but just was a lil heavy on the cumin, I would try again but maby order a lower spice level

Delivery driver was great. Food wasn’t. The mint sauce was neon green which is just a little unsettling, the korma was watery and not very flavourful, which was unfortunate because I’m really trying to find a korma like the one I have back home and I’m yet to have any luck. I probably won’t order from here again

I have ordered quite a few times but last 2 times the vindaloo was not hot and was very watery. A vindaloo should be thick n spicy in fact quite disappointed as previously recommended to friends n family.

I’m really sorry to have to moan but I’m afraid the food was awful. It arrived cold and spilling out of the pots they were in. The rice was over cooked and soggy, the curry didn’t taste of anything and the naan bread was horrible, I’m so sorry but I really didn’t enjoy it a bit, I haven’t been able to eat it :(

Had a few take always from here and the food is very tasty and the portions are a good size. We have collected a few times and the food is always ready at the time stated. Staff are very friendly and happy to help. Prices are fair

Late delivery, food nice and hot when arrived but not usual standard for Simply Indian. Curry and rice watery and fairly tasteless which was a surprise. Drinks different from what we ordered.

It was tasting nd looked like it had been microwaved from frozen. Naan was quite burnt, cans of pop was warm aswell as warm. I Won't order again as was quite disappointing for the money spent
