Convenient place, food is ok, but staff don’t want to be there and see customers as a nuisance that simply come in to bother them. The guy serving us was so ridiculously rude you would have thought we were trying to rob the place. Every question was met with a stare and no we only asked two questions and we were polite. He made it brutally clear that he didn’t want to engage in any way. Don’t know why he doesn’t change jobs. I wish I had walked out, thought about speaking to the manager……but why should I do their job of noticing his attitude. Never again……

This place is amazing! We just had a sausage roll each which were delicious. The drinks are the thing that made us write a review. We had a Nutella hot chocolate which was so nice and a great escape smoothie both taste gorgeous and will definitely come back here again.

An entirely normal cafe with a nice selection of above average sandwiches and pastries. Prices seemed typical for the area. However, service was slow, the toilets closed, and tables not cleaned. They're probably low on staff, as everyone is at the moment, and I expect things will improve in a few months.

Habiendo soportado una expedición de compras a Selfridges con la familia, ¡fue un remanso de paz! Buena comida y café a precios razonables. Todos tuvimos el desayuno inglés completo, que fue excelente. El servicio del personal fue excelente y su ubicación junto a la calle Oxford por Selfridges es perfecta. No me puedo quejar!

Located close to the staff entrance of the infamous Selfridges, this local business does little to attract or maintain clientele (which you can afford to do when your sales are generated by the discount you give the thousands of people employed by the Selfridges brand). I have worked locally in the area for over a year & every time I have visited here for either lunch or breakfast, I have received either terrible customer service or received the incorrect order. On my most recent visit, I waited over 10mins for a simple takeaway lunch time meal. The first order brought out for me was incorrect (luckily the cashier noticed this before it was given to me). It was only when returning to work, that I realised the new dish brought out to me was incorrect - they had ADDED a topping to my meal that wasn’t on the original order (this was not a special request that I had asked to be removed from the original dish). I have a severe reaction to this topping if consumed. As this was not the first time I had encountered this same issue, I returned to Silvios & requested a refund. To my shock, the cashier did not apologise for the error but simply gave me my money back & sent me on my way!?! Maybe it’s because I was polite & didn’t cause a scene? Maybe it was because they don’t care about their consumers. Being in the heart of the west end, they should value their local clientele & should train their staff to pay more attention to detail, especially in areas of concern that could lead to a law suit! (I have also had issues which was escalated with the manager & the service, if anything was much worse). Needless to say, they have lost my custom!

Such a convenient little Italian eatery which makes a change and is different to your usual eateries in London. Coffee is really nice and big cups too! Range of cold and hot food. Sandwiches and bagels which are all fresh made in-house and snacky bits to go with your lunch which are on the side like cannoli’s too. Very happy this place is right by where I work 😍 will definitely be making weekly trips as a treat.

I'm not sure what people want from a sandwich and coffee shop having read some of the reviews but my experience has always been good. A special mention to the salmon bagel which is a dream. Coffee very good and they have loyalty cards if you ask.

Silvios is located just behind Oxford Street and close to the other main shopping areas. It's much better than waiting for ages in one of the coffee shops located on the main streets or in the big stores. Nice coffee, decent range of cakes/sandwiches etc

Dear Silvio, I hope this finds you well. I am a long term customer and neighbour of your Duke Street Store. My Office, (Poten and Partners) is situated at 101 Wigmore Street, above Wagamamas. Having visited your shop at least once a week over the last 5 years I feel obliged to write you an email concerning the content of your salad wraps! Over the years they have got lighter and lighter, to the point whereby now they are more bread than salad. In the one I just had (Order number 17, Greek Salad Wrap, Mixed Base) there was a good quarter of the wrap unfilled at the top end, and it was really quite a skinny thing all over. At one point in time my colleauges used to joke that I was contracutally bound to Silvios for my lunch choices as I was visiting most days! I have felt hard done by on at least the lst 5 occasions I have ordered wraps from you, and my colleagues agree with me. I have always leaned towards your lunches as they were a bit ore satisfying than those cheaper options availible at Benugos etc. but now there is really not a lot in it. Surely a salad wrap should contain as much salad as a salad bowl? Pleased to hear your thoughts and feedback. Many thanks, Tom (a still hungry Tom!) PS I tried to send this as an email to you, and to submit the above via the website but neiter seemed to work.

I have been ordering salads every week from them, but since they staff been completely changed, the quality start to be poor. Last time (beginning of September 2018) I have ordered salad with feta cheese and in an hour late start to feel very sick 🤢, like very. I had to cancel all my meeting for the next 4 days. Never again ://

I ordered a chicken wrap thinking it would have nice hot chicken, with the salsa, pepper and onions I filled the wrap with, but it was ice cold. The chicken tasted horrible; it was the worst wrap I have ever eaten. It also said on the board a 'design your own' wrap costs £5.95 yet they charged over £7 for it.. cheeky

It's not the best place to go. Certainly they could learn to offer service with a smile... As for the product offered the coffee was just warm and the cake was average. Disappointing is the best way to describe.

the coffee is not bad either, but I particularly recommend their breakfasts. Their eggs, any way you like, are just great. Just ask and they'll accommodate you. A great alternative to Selfridge's extortionate food court prices.

Five of us called in while in London nearby for a business lunch. Very different as you have to do down into an underground area. The decor is modern but with an industrial/classic feel. I am not a fan of pizza but we all ordered pizza as recommended by one of our group and I am glad we did as it was very good - as far as pizza goes. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. Highly recommend for somewhere interesting and quirky. The only down side was it was a bit pricey but I suppose we were in London!

Walking I noticed this small pizzeria characterized by a wood oven. The furniture is typical of an Italian trattoria. The staff is friendly, rapid and attentive to the customer just as you expect in Italy. The pizza is exceptional. The dough is well leavened and, therefore, light. The condiments are of excellent quality. Cooking is perfect. Excellent beer and ice cream also fully satisfies the palate. The account is adequate.
