Ordered just special curry on its own today . Didn't order rice with it as it was £4.40, which I thought was over the top . Went to asda and got a microwave rice for 50p. Got back to digs . Curry was £7.40 opened it and was not alot and probably about 60 percent liquid. Taste was average. Won't be going again.

Tasty food, portions could be a bit more generous sometimes with meat.

Great tasting food at reasonable prices

Had an amazing Chinese delivery from SilverHill. The lady who answers the phone was lovely and arrived before its estimated delivery time. Food was hot and delicious, couldn’t recommend the chicken satay skewers and special fried rice enough.

Working in Hastings Monday night so fort we would try this out.... It was good really good but not quite great...

I'm a Chinese and I'm really disappointed about it. The rice is the worst and the fried vegetable is not fried. It's like a slime. I had Chow Main last time and it's good. So I expected this time it will be good as well. But I'm sorry to say it's really bad.

I've been using this takeaway for years, the flavours and food are superb but for years I've been complaining to them about the awful chips. The chips are unedible, they taste and look as though they've been cooked 10 times!!! I have asked them for freshly cooked chips on numerous occasions but they still send out the cold, overcooked chips. I no longer go there due to this which is a shame because the rest of the food is superb.

Food was delivered in 45 min, hot and fresh. Prawn toast and sweet n sour chicken balls weren’t greasy. Sweet n sour sauce was a bit different but nice.

I've ordered about 30 times by now over the past 6 months. Every single time the order has been correct and the food has been delicious. The delivery has been quick as well, the only times the wait was long was on particularly busy days. I recommend here if you're looking for a consistent Chinese takeaway in terms of food and time

Good dinnah. I'm basically a vegetarian but I do like prawns. If I was a prawn and saw meself in a mirror, I would want to be eaten, wouldn't you?

If you order from Silverhill, expect a family run business with subtly flavoured offerings. The food was well cooked and delivered in a timely manner. You receive what you ask for. 多謝

I have eaten from here on a few occasions and generally it's been okay. Myself and my partner ordered from here last night and although the food tasted good and arrived within 15 minutes or ordering, we were both up during the night with dodgey tummies. Could just be a one off but we have now been put off ordering from this establishment.

No Chinese in the town compares to this one. Food is always cooked perfectly. Staff are friendly. Delivery appears when they said it would. Collection always ready when I go in. I love their crispy chilli beef!

Set meal for one, changed the beef part to Singapore noodles, superb meal, no oil or grease, pork balls were very tasty and again not oily, overall one of the best take away meals for a long time

We very rarely order food for delivery but very glad we did tonight. Superb set meal for two. Very generous portions - we will be reheating the leftovers tomorrow. Over the years we've tried most of the established Hastings takeaways but we'll be sticking with this one for Chinese food.

Certainly the best Chinese Takeaway in this part of Hastings and, I suspect, the whole of Hastings. I've tried the others and this is much better than those.

Best chinese had for a long time

Good service, cooked quickly and really enjoyed it.

Absolutely loved Set menu D tonight. Chow mein was some of the nicest I'd had in a while. Crispy shredded beef was delicious. Highly recommended this Chinese.

Placed an order which we wrote out and double checked. All vegetarian food, as we are vegetarian. When we got home we realized that we had been given the wrong dishes, including chicken wings and meat dumplings. Rang the takeaway who insisted that’s what we had ordered and that we were wrong. Never again

Food is actually very very good but may I strongly recommend that you go and order it in person as oppose to rely on their delivery service. If it wasnt for the fact that we were totally mis quoted a waiting time and fobbed off on follow up phone calls and had to wait for over two hours for something we were originally told would be 30 minutes, I would have given a 5 star rating. Please dont be put off having food from here. Just go and order it in person

Thought was quite expensive at first but turned out to be surprisingly large portions and good quality food

Another lovely meal from here today. Their prawn crackers are properly prawny and their sweet and sour pork balls are cooked to perfection. Delivery arrived when they said it would - all hot and tasty. It's our go to chinese.

Meal for 1 here was lovely. I changed the beef dish for chicken satay. All of it was so tasty. Great price. Absolutely lovely.

This is our regular Chinese take away we go to, it’s our fav, can’t go wrong, just the best in Hastings in my opinion.

Popped in here after a night out. Food cooked really quickly and was as tasty as every other time. Staff not chatty, but really not bothered! Love their lemon chicken!

Another great meal from here again. Sweet & sour pork cooked to perfection, Chinese chicken curry amazing and the lemon chicken was lush. I'll be back for more!

Went there 20th august as I couldn't be bothered to cook I have used this takeaway before on several occasions and the food has been good value and very tasty .On entering this time was no one else in there it was sunday night so I thought nothing of the fact it was quiet .The girl came to serve me she looked upset that I disturbed her as she was working on a laptop I ordered lamb in black bean sauce with egg fried rice and spring roll this all cost£ 9.10 after about 15 minutes she gave me my food no smile .When I got home I opened food up and I had a rather small spring roll my egg fried rice then expecting my lamb in black bean sauce I was upset to have a beef mixed with curry sauce I didn't take it back but ate it because I was hungry .I just wanted to point out if they were really busy I could understand mistakes being made but they was not busy and didn't seem to want to serve me its also a very serious mistake to make nowdays as certain religions do not eat certain meats I will not go back again but not because of the mistake but the attitude of the staff

We chose a selection of dishes to feed 3 people, all of which were tasty. It cost just over £31 and there was plenty for all. It arrived on time and with a smile. We will definitely use this takeaway again. Would have liked it to have been hotter, but that is easily solved and have no complaints about the quality or taste.

Absolutely lovely food. Had a set meal and every dish on it was delicious, especially the crispy shredded beef. Found a whole prawn in the prawn toast - unheard of!
