Great Chinese, food delicious, good portions at reasonable prices.

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND YOU GIVE THEM A TRY We’re in Hastings for few days n fancied Chinese takeaway. Looked at reviews and decided on Chinesetown. (It had excellent reviews). Before ordering we took a look at 11am and grabbed a couple of menus. They said they could deliver to Coombe Haven but at the back gate (Coombe haven don’t encourage deliveries, the site offers Burger King/papa johns delivered to your caravan. Excellent if they take your fancy, but we all wanted Chinese). There were 7 of us and our order came to £104. We highly recommend soo much from our order, from the half duck, special chow mein, chicken chow main, crispy beef, satay chicken, prawn curry, pork curry, special foo young, chicken foo young, prawn and chicken balls. I could go on n on. The only disappointment was the ribs, which were tough. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed everything and highly recommend you give them a try. Am sure you’ll enjoy every mouthful.

Really glad we only had small order, went here after reading reviews, chicken fried rice looked hardly fried and hardly any taste, chicken in curry was like rubber, if you get these wrong says it all.

Brilliant food! We ordered the chicken satay, lemon chicken, egg fried rice, Chicken chow mein, veggie spring rolls and prawns with cashews; it was all delicious and only £37! Food arrived piping hot and the driver was very smiley and friendly. Recommend and we’ll use again.

I’m so disappointed today my food was awful even though I’m talking to the lady IN PERSON she STILL got my order wrong no curry sauce when I asked for it and plain spring rolls when I’ve asked for chilli ones so yeah my dinner which was meant to be a treat for how expensive it costs was ruined my mum ended up having to have ketchup on the chips so yeah her meal ruined too Thanks a lot for ruining my evening!!!!

My favourite Chinese in St Leonards/Hastings! Outstanding customer service, never forget to leave the prawns out of my singapore noodles (even when I forget to add a note!) and food is always fresh and delicious.

Asked for no onion or bamboo and noodles had bare bamboo asked for no veg in either dish and it was like I was talking a different language

What is happening ....our food in over 1 hour late; Food Hub has highjacked our order and has failed a previously good outlet. All calls are redirected to Failed Call!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We ordered over the phone and it only took 10 minutes for collection. The food tastes good and there is a variety on the menu. Salt and pepper chips. Hong king style sweet and sour both tasted amazing. The prawns and vegetable chow mien were also great.

There were many options available and the owner was patient in letting me take my time to decide on what to order. Ordered sweet and sour chicken rice (£6) from the special offer set menu. It was v filling and even had some bits of egg in the rice! Quite an authentic version of the dish and it reminded me of home

Fast delivery , when the meal arrived it was hot and all items were tasty the crispy chilli beef was lovely and the fact they do a chicken curry and rice in 1 container is great value will be using again in future .

VERY DISAPPOINTED 😝 been using this takeaway for many yrs, nearly always have the same thing, chicken chow mien, bbq spare ribs, chicken curry & a few more things which were always delicious. This time again ordered same thing! Even the seagulls wouldn't touch it 😝😝😝😝

Nice small town Chinese. Tried many in the area and was not impressed. Somehow I overlooked that one and last time I walked past I decided to give that a go. Was impressed. Very decent standard Chinese fare, not oily, tasty. Different from most. Competitive priced, good portion size. We had quite a selection, all of us agreed Unlike most of the others, I will be back.

Disappointed. My usual Chinese is closed so we ordered from here as they take payment online. Chicken balls worst I’ve had. The chicken had funny smell (not off but cheap processed smell) and was tough to chew. The prawn crackers tasted days old. The chow mein and special rice were very nice. It was hot but I suspect the chicken balls may be reheated to be that tough. Ordered 2 portions of chicken balls between 3 of us and they mostly went in the bin.

Having used many Chinese takeaways in Hastings over the past 12 years, this is by far the best I've tried. Everything was spot on especially the squid with chilli and salt which was better than some I have eaten in Chinatown in London. This is will be my go to Chinese in Hastings and I have no hesitation recommending it whatsoever.

First time we've ordered from here and we will be ordering again it was all delicious, fast delivery and the food was hot couldn't ask for more really pleased we've found a decent Chinese at last

I’ve ordered takeaway in hastings and st Leonard’s for 10years and this is the best Chinese, not because of the food but because of everything else. 5 star food hygiene rating, easy to order on the phone and website. Food arrives fast, food tastes hot and fresh, only mistake they ever made on an order they rectified and the service compared to most Chinese restaurants is excellent. The food itself is fairly standard fare but if I had to recommend a dish it would be their: (Dry) bbq spare ribs; good portion of large 6-8 inch long ribs that are well cooked but not cremated. Dish to avoid is prawn toast, it’s smaller bread than normal and has very little shredded prawn it in. If you want a clean, dependable and friendly Chinese takeaway that is very consistent this is the one for you.

Staying locally on holiday. Read the reviews and this takeaway sounded good and was local. Had food delivered and it was hot, in time and the chap delivering it was very friendly. Food was fantastic and included free prawn crackers. Ordered online and was able to pick delivery time. Thoroughly recommended.

Probably the best Chinese food in Hastings and would suggest that you either visit them or order online as their English is not good at all but the food is so that’s the main thing!

We always choose this place for our Chinese takeaways. It’s best to order off their website as their English is pretty poor. If you do a large order they usually throw in the prawn crackers. Delivery is free and fairly quick. Portions are very good and it always arrives nice and hot.

Our first Chinese take away last Saturday. We are doing it again this week. Prompt excellent delivery and service. The food was wonderful and very reasonably priced No wonder we are going back again this week.

don't often use this place and won't be using it again. Some of the order was incorrect and they replaced it but food just wasn't great. Chicken balls dry, over cooked and really greasy. Duck was over cooked and didn't taste great, spring rolls were tasteless and cold. Asked if they sold Satay sauce and assured me they did, definitely NOT Satay but curry sauce, which wasn't very nice. All in all a disappointing meal.

Superb Chinese Takeaway restaurant. Great location and fantastic value restaurant right in the heart of St Leonards on Sea. The menu is the standard range offered and it is always prepared fresh. I particularly like the King Prawn with ginger and spring onion. Friendly kind staff and very well prepared for Covid19. Only one person in store food handed out by the side and payments taken on the other side. Well sanitized and clean space. Highly recommended

In my opinion this is one of the best Chinese takeaways in Hastings/St Leonards. I can’t fault our dishes; tasty chicken chow mein, a very fresh salt and pepper squid and succulent roast pork and duck (boneless duck) rice. The rice and noodle dishes were all large portions.

We had the best ever salt n pepper king prawns the other night and I find the chicken still resembles chicken and not this weird, boiled looking slimy stuff they give you in a lot of other places? Also if you’re busy or not in the mood for washing up etc and decide to eat in, there’s a menu of almost any dish with either rice or noodles. You sit down order and within 2 minutes your plate of food is in front of you! This place is a little gem 10/10

I popped in to get a take away on a wednesday lunch time and it was ok but not great. Nothing wrong with it but not wow.

Had a Chinese yesterday down hill opposite coop it was the MOST terrible meal I gave ever paid for The beef curry was Sunday roast slices dipped in a curry gravy and my wife king prawn chow mein was prawns and beansorouts mixed with tomatoes puree style sauce that you add to bolognese.the special fried rice was rice and a few strips of pork and chicken breast thrown in .yeuk

We'd all got back from holiday and wanted Chinese. Popped in here and had great food. Daughter said her ribs were the best she's tasted. Service quick. We're fans and know we'll be returning

Food service, delicious food, unique decoration, highly recomend for lunch, dinner or gathering。

We stopped in for dinner last night and were not disappointed. The service was quick and friendly and the food was amazing. We had a mix of starters and mains and all of it was great. My favourite was the shredded chilli chicken, delicate and well cooked and a Good size portion. My OH had hot sweet and sour soup and chicken noodles ad was very happy with it. Friends had duck noodles and dry ribs and not a lot was left. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely visit again.

Fancied a Chinese before our trip to the Kino and this place didn't disappoint. It's basically a takeaway with 5 tables using up the space in the shop front. We loved it. Felt like places we'd been to in Asia.Ordered our food from the special menu. It arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. Girl serving was very proficient. Food tasted amazing. Prices for food very good, restaurant prices for the alcoholic drinks.We'll definitely be returning

Very let down by this takeaway place, we have used it regularly for years but last week I bought a chow mein and found a toothpick on my fork as I was just about to put it in my mouth. I rang them and told them what had happened and that I could of choked, the young girl basically called me a liar as they do not have toothpicks in the kitchen and that I should call a doctor if I choke because she is not a doctor and can't help, so feeling annoyed I took the meal back as it was in the dish for them to see. While the husband and wife were apologetic they still insisted that toothpicks were not it the kitchen they refunded £5 and replaced part of the meal. The daughter should not work there she is rude and her telephone manner is terrible if you have a problem. Won't use them again if you make sure you check your food.

We decided to sit in and eat this time when we visited here for a Chinese - the food was very good and tasty - the service was fine but could have been better and done in a happier manner. The food is one of the best Chinese in the town though.

Made an order for takeaway and they never showed up after 1 hour and 40 minutes. I phoned up and they said they forgot to give the order to the kitchen. They said they would try to send it ASAP but they were very busy at the moment. What a waste of time. Cancelled it. ☹️

Food always lovely. But issue with timings for delivery after waiting for over 2 hours. When chasing the food up I'm told by a rude staff member they are far too busy tonight. Normally never have an issue but doubt I'll order again.

So unperfessional staff wear no uniform. the waitress was so rude to all the costumers, She served my food with dirty hands! the tables where stinky where they hadn’t been cleaned and could hear the kitchen staff shouting away I couldn’t even hear my friend speak .

Mix it up, mix it up proper, been here many times and had some effin good memories on many occasions, well worth a visit, make sure to check out the mix it up menu and ask for the dish you want coz they do a proper pucker bit of grub here. Love this place

Went there for my birthday celebration, Saturday lunch, driving from Brighton. Well worth the wait and long delayed journey. We went for the set menu which on all levels was excellent, freshly cooked, served with a smile as well as the setting being traditional and in good taste. We used to frequent the Sun Bo Seng in Brighton which sadly closed a number of years ago. This food is as good as theirs easily!

Very delicious Only downside is the chicken balls and chicken are a bit to chewy very reasonably priced well recommended for fussy eaters.

Been going to Chinese town for over 7 years and they still never disappoint. Food is amazing and the staff are lovely as always. Delivery is always before time given or bang on time. Have recommended and friends and family never disappointed either. Would happily recommend to anyone.

Well cooked hot food which tastes fresh and the reception desk is welcoming and friendly. Its a cosy looking place to eat in as well and deceptive from the outside in this respect.
