Silk Rd Liverpool in Liverpool

One of my favourite restaurants in Liverpool.I have been to the one in Heswell a few times as well and both offer the best service The food is amazing, and so are the cocktails. I visited last year when I was pregnant and the bar man made me any mocktail I wanted. It wasn’t any bother to him at all.The croquettes are my favourite Please, if you ever visit Liverpool then come hereYou won’t be disappointed

We had a fantastic meal here, sitting outside in the courtyard which was lovely. The staff were very attentive and helpful checking on us regularly to see if we needed anything.There was a great selection of dishes to choose from with lots of gluten free dishes marked on the menu and other dishes that could be made gluten free so we were delighted with the choice.The salt and pepper squid and the halloumi were particularly good.

Our server, tom, was very charming, served our table with much enthusiasm and really made our trip there. He was funny and it was nice. Good drinks good vibes.

On arrival we were greeted by Joe who was absolutely superb, was extremely friendly and helpful, overall the customer sercive was impeccable, the food itself was delicious considering it was mine and my girlfriends first time trying tapas we coukdnt be any happier! Price wise was also great, would 100% come back again, lovely staff, food and atmoshpere.

Restaurant was fairly quiet when we arrived but then filled up during the next half hour. The atmosphere was then joyous but not boisterous. It's not my first visit to Silk Road and I have never been disappointed. As a chef in a local pub I can really appreciate the work that goes on both front of house and behind the scenes. The chefs in the kitchen obviously understand food and know exactly the best way to present the dishes. The front of house staff were friendly and knowledgeable and only too willing to spend some time helping the customers. Silk Road is not a restaurant I attend simply to eat, it is more the whole experience and I cannot recommend it highly enough

Apart from the waitress dropping a slate plate of starters and dipping sauces all over our table, all over me and my clothes and wristwatch and being served up bone dry olives and chicken with rice that was so dry it had gone back to its dry natural state ( pretty sure the rice had been microwaved and left under a heat lamp ) it looked like bird seed and as dry .What should of been a pleasant wedding anniversary meal it was a night to forget .Need to mention that the waiter knocked the cost of the nibbles and olives off the bill , mind you I certainly was not going to pay for them. I really do believe that fine dining does not exist in this city.

Massive let down, been waiting for months to get back in here.Thai crackers were great as always, satay thou, so poor - so little of it too - 2.5 poor chewey bits, same with the goujons - chewey....Massamam curry was lovely, but the nasi goreng, we asked for with chicken, came without chicken, waitress still charged us for it....only £1 like, but poor service....Will visit again as love the place but s£&t tonight....

Visited Silk Rd over bank holiday weekend and was not disappointed. Food was great, all staff were attentive and a nice vibe. Would come back next time we visit Liverpool.

Service, setting & food superb. If you're in this part of town don't miss this hidden gem. The beers, wine and cocktails were awesome. The food is even better than the drinks. Bao buns, Malaysian steak, beef rendang, katsu chicken, sea bass and mango salad. Unreal selection of food and brilliant staff. Go!

Fantastic food and a special shout out to Kerry who looked after 6 of us all night… nothing was to much trouble for her and went that extra mile to help us out on the choice of food.. thanks again..

We visited Silk rd after a friend recommended it, and so glad we did. Service was excellent , staff were so friendly and welcoming and food was delicious!!. We will be back to my new favourite restaurant.

Booked a table over a month ago. Terrible weather in Liverpool today so asked if we could visit earlier which was agreed. On arrival i was informed silk rd had telephoned me..interesting as i had no missed calls or voicemails. Anyway a couple of umbrellas up outside and two groups eating. We were appointed a table in the corner with no protection at all from the elements. We asked could we have a different table as many under cover were empty but we were told they were all booked. We asked if the portable umbrella could be moved..again no. Having supported silk rd from its opening and eaten there many times I am disgusted at the lack of courtesy and lack of service we received today. The man that greeted us didnt seem to care at all so a word of warning to anyone thinking of visiting & dining outside check your table has some kind of covering. Maybe silk rd arent bothered about customer service with dining inside to resume shortly but they have lost two regular customers. We wont be returning.

Excellent food and service! This was our second visit during the Covid restrictions. Therefore, we had to eat and drink outdoors. However, this did not affect our lovely experience. The food is delicious and we were spoilt for choice as there are so many nice things on the menu! The staff are amazing, our waiters (on both vIsits) Joe and Adam are extremely friendly and professional. Joe actually remembered our round of drinks from when we visited 2 weeks before this visit! We look forward to our next visit when the restaurant will be back to normal with indoor eating! However, if the weather is nice I hope they continue to have outdoor seating too! Would highly recommend Silk Road, for the fantastic food, drink, service and atmosphere.

I visited Silk Road on the 17th April,was a bit apprehensive as it was outdoor dining due to COVID rules.well we really couldn’t have had a better experience.what fantastic staff and amazing food and drink.we ordered a number of different dishes and every single one was delicious,the sangria was one of the best I’ve had.staff were so friendly and helpful.we were informed on booking that the table would be for two hours but if we wished to stay longer they would do their best to accomadate us.everything from the atmosphere to the quality of the food and drink and friendliness of staff made us want to stay longer,we arrived at 4pm and didn’t leave until closing.it got a bit chilly later on and we jokingly asked for blankets to our surprise the next thing we knew we had blankets.would highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning very soon.

Came to Silk Road with my boyfriend and two friends Friday evening and loved it. Will served us, he was lovely and provided great service. We never waited for anything as he was always there ready for our drinks order. He recommended some lovely food options and drinks. Food was unreal and great location. Thankyou so much will!!

Went here for a birthday meal with the family, was absolutely fantastic. The staff and managers really looked after us even for a busy night. Good potions offood and it tasted great. The lamb was a particular favourite. Really friendly staff, great food.Go try it for yourself

This is the first time we’d visited the Beetham Plaza restaurant, although we had previously been to the Silk Rd in Hope Street and really enjoyed it. It was pouring down with rain on the evening we visited but the atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely. There’s a great view of a fantastic water feature across the plaza and the area was nicely decorated with Christmas lights. On entering the restaurant the staff welcomed us straight away and showed us to our table. All of the COVID precautions were followed carefully, signing in at the desk and registering our visit on the track and trace app. Everyone was also well spaced out so it all felt really safe. The staff were lovely during the whole visit and the service was really quick. The food was also amazing and there’s a good selection of drinks and deserts. Highly recommended.

I visited here twice for my birthday and, as always, it was exceptional. The staff could not be more warm and welcoming and the food is to die for. If you haven't yet been.... do yourself a favour...

1st time to Liverpool and we wanted somewhere to eat with variety, we booked Silk Road not knowing what to expect. From entering we were made to feel welcome. We arrived 15mins early but got seated straight away. We ordered a variety of food and it was just . The staff where lovley and so helpful for the whole time we where there. Highly recommend Silk Road. Keep up the good work ladies and gents, hope to return from The Lake District in the near future. Sorry only took 1 picture of 3 of the dishes, we ordered 7 in total.

Absolutely guttered we chose to spend our last supper here before lockdown... Understandably, there are certain restrictions being placed on the staff from licensing, butPlease don’t take a booking if we have 20 minutes left before the kitchen closes...Food was awful, and to add to it, we sent one meal back as it smelt like a wet dog... Can’t understand why I chose to go there over the Salt House Tapas... left here and I’ve just drove the McDonalds on the Dock Rd... Once again, I’m proper guttered

I've posted some photos below of our food, needless to say you can see from the photos that the food is gorgeous! Everything is 10/10 , the service is always spot on, the staff are so attentive and always smiling and make you feel so special and welcome. If you've never been I highly reccomend you won't be disappointed. I've been lots of times and never ever had a bad meal or service.

I recently visited silk rd with my husband and couldn’t fault it at all . The staff were so helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. I tried the sangria it was delicious and so fruity The price is very reasonable I will definitely be going again

Me and my partner went for a final date night before lockdown 2.0 and had such a lovely time! Kerry who served us was lovely and I loved how she introduced us to the restaurant as we’d never been before and explained its fusion menu. All the food was fab and there is soooo much variety, bao buns, sea bass, pork belly, steak, Sri Lankan, Chinese and Thai curries and of course salt and pepper fries even had chicken goujons which were amazing and great as my partner is super fussy! It’s incredible value for money! Our meal with 1 main and 5 tapas/sides and 2 drinks was only £30 with the tastecard offer!I noticed the waiters and waitress were also super attentive, and generally passionate about the restaurant and it’s amazing food!The atmosphere was great and the window seats with the slants were really unique and romantic. Would highly recommend and will certainly be going again!

First visit to Silk Rd, but wont be the last staff were really friendly, and the food was lovely, a mix of Thai tapas and more

Called in here for lunch after reading reviews. The menu was exciting and variety of food types so not prescriptive on Thai or Indonesian or Turkish. Just a fabulous mix of allsorts of great food. All tapas size and fairly priced. Beautiful presentation. Great friendly service and very attractive interior. We loved our dishes. 6 between the 2 of us. The Ophia cocktail was bloomin brilliant too !! We will definitely be going back. Thankyou team xx

Great lunch, 3rd time we’ve visited Silk Rd and we have enjoyed it every time. The Prawns and the Katsu Curry are a must as is the Sticky Toffee Pudding :)

Really lovely food here with 40% off main menu at certain times in October however when our bill arrived we had to query it as we didnt receive our full discount so we queried it to be told the discount only applies to main courses but the advert clearly states main menu so no discount on dessert even though it is on the main menu so we paid then the waiter came back with £4 saying the discount was not applied properly and blamed a Till error obviously we accepted that but No Discount applied to dessertsSo Just Be Aware what the discount applies too

Really recommend this place super cute! food was great and the service was A star :) tapas is always a fave and it didn't disappoint!

Lovely, tasty food let down by the small portion sizes. For example, we ordered bao buns for £7.50 thinking there would be at least 2, it’s tapas after all. But there was one! So yea we left pretty hungry despite a large bill.

Wow! What a trip along the Silk Road we had! From Indonesia to Persia and Colombo to Thailand and everywhere in between! From the moment we entered Silk Road on Beetham Plaza the staff were welcoming and friendly with social distancing measures nicely in place.I had already had a look at the menu online, well you do don’t you , so had an idea of what I wanted to try. However, there was so much that sounded lovely that my pre order went out of the window! The quality of the dishes at Silk Road is amazing, I would describe it as tapas ++ The flavours are fabulous, every dish we had was expertly prepared and so fresh. I adored the Indonesian Beef Rendang, the beef was so tender. Another favourite for me was the Colombo Tamarind Curry which was full of flavour, spicy and delicious! Other dishes we had were Buttered Black Prawns, Sweet Chilli Mango Chicken, Kalamari, Persian Lamb and Seabass Choo Chee. For dessert I had Affogato with Amaretto and hubby had a cheese board. All in all we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Silk Road to anyone. Service was spot on from start to finish. Silk Road is great for date night or a meal with family or friends or just because you deserve it! Thanks for everything guys

Get the prawn crackers, they’re amazing. The nasi goreng, was the nicest I have had since visiting Asia! We would definitely recommend.

Staying at the StayCity apartments opposite, this restaurant wasn't immediately appealing, but we very much enjoyed a Sunday evening dinner. Remarkable spread of cuisines, but the kitchen manages to deliver the goods to a high standard. Very friendly service, and one dish erroneously brought to us was given as a freebie. I hope Silk Road continues to do well.

Visit on Tuesday afternoon and received the best service from Joe. Warm welcoming atmosphere as always, Joe went above and beyond even serving me up cocktails that wernt on the menu. Food was perfection as always. Couldn't reccomend and rate the place enough. Thank you Joe and the rest of the team for another faultless visit.

Had a brilliant meal here on Saturday evening. We felt very safe as there were strict measures in place regarding Covid -19 .We needed Gluten Free food as one of our party has coeliac so we are always careful in our choices but the menu provided so many wonderful choices that we had a fantastic meal. Fab little place found by chance. Friendly welcoming staff and well organised from a COVID perspective. Great menu choice especially as a friend is vegetarian. It was a last minute booking and we were seated upstairs but I think if we visited again we would request a downstairs table, purely for the atmosphere. Would def come back.

I went for a meal for my housemate's 21st birthday and we had the loveliest evening. We were served by Matt and he made sure we understood the menu and also made some excellent recommendations which really added to the whole experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending Silk Rd to all of our friends! Thank you so much to all the staff for a wonderful evening!

12th September. I was looking forward this this meal as the menu looked really interesting, but perhaps the restaurant should stick to one cuisine. We ordered 6 tapas size dishes, beef rendang (which my partner said was ok), massaman (far too sweet), nachos (too much salad), halloumi (dry and too sweet), calamari, mango chicken(which tasted & looked like a sweet & sour stir fry). We we're very disappointed and won't be returning. If you're looking for a place to drink all night and perhaps have a couple of dishes to soak up the alcohol this might be the place for you. Considering current covid19 issues, a large party of 13 people arrived towards the end of our meal spread over 3 tables but still doesn't seem within the he government guidance. From Monday 14th I believe this will be illegal.

Arrived 35 minutes early for our booking and was seated straight away. Restaurant atmosphere instantly easing. The staff member seating us was polite, and helpful. Our waitress, Courtney T, was perfect. Great service from her, recommended her favourite dishes, and was polite and friendly throughout our experience. The restaurant was fantastic in dealing with allergies, and had several options available for V, VG, GF and a lot of dishes were available in GF too. They didn’t have the beer we wanted (Silk Rd) but were offered a suitable alternative. The food was beautiful, absolutely beautiful! Amazing flavours and very fresh. All were piping hot. The lamb lollipops were lovely, and the beef rendang was too. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend!!

Having travelled south to celebrate our son’s 21st birthday at Uni. My wife and I visited Silk Road, based on Trip Advisor reviews and we were not disappointed! Great service and excellent food. It’s that simple. Would definitely recommend the tapas dishes.

Attended Silk Road Tapas at Beetham plaza Liverpool to celebrate my nephews 30th Birthday. Food and staff were excellent and really attentive. Food was amazing and we will be definitely coming back soon.

We booked a table for 4 on Sunday evening @ 19:30, the menu we viewed online grabbed our attention immediately. We ordered multiple tapas dishes, with every mouthful raising our expectations. I'm gluten free and the menu is one that i will never ever forget! Absolutely delicious! The customer service we received from all staff members was exceptional. Matt and Joe couldn't do enough for us as a group, top class service from start to finish. I have already recommended Silk Rd to friends and family and I will be sure to visit whenever I am next in Liverpool.

I just wanted to thank Matt and the staff at Silk Road at Beetham Plaza for a lovely meal last night. This was my first meal eating out after my cancer diagnosis (Nov 19) and treatment. They have a great set up and their COVID-19 procedures made me feel very safe. The food was amazing, as well as our overall experience. Thank you

Visited here bank holiday weekend. Good to see covid was taken seriously and our health and safety were important.We were greeted at the door by Joe (I think he was smiling but he had a mask on) who sat us and explained how the menu worked. Everything sounded delicious so I asked for recommendations again from Joe who also took our order. I went for both the ribs and curry which he suggested. Both were as tasty as he had said. It was suggested 3 small plates each, however for my appetite the 2 plates were plenty.My partner ordered a full english and Joe was very apologetic that this took quite a bit longer to arrive. All round, top quality customer service, delicious food and relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend dining here.

Arrived early but was seated very quickly. Staff very friendly. Service very slow tho. Didn't enjoy the litre of Sangria, didnt taste of Sangria, but the tapas was very good. Sticky toffee pudding and banana fritters were the best things we had. Good atmosphere.

I visited on Sunday night with my husband and two friends, none of whom had eaten here previously. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food, and the sangria! The service was excellent and the staff could not have been friendlier or more attentive, even though the restaurant was busy, nothing was too much trouble. They are clearly a hardworking team. Looking forward to returning again soon.

Went on Saturday evening and highly impressed with the quality of the food and service.Unsure of portion sizes for tapas plates and was advised by the server that three would be adequate. We found that to be the case, mixture of plates, hot, cold, meat, fish etc.Very enjoyable evening

Visited with a friend on a Monday afternoon to take advantage of the eat out scheme.Service was excellent, friendly and efficient, and food was superb. The menu is really varied with massive choice, plenty to suit everyone. We chose from the lunch menu which at £12 for 3 dishes was excellent value- but add in the 50% deal from the government, it was a very reasonably priced lunch!Nasi goreng was particularly good, but couldn’t fault any of the food. Wine is a bit pricey, and the toilets left a bit to be desired hence the 4star not 5 but will definitely go back

I visited Silk Rd on Saturday with my family .. from the moment we walked in the service was amazing .... mark made us feel so welcome and greeted us by name . The food, service and ever aspect was first class .... thank you for a fantastic experience .... one of the best places in Liverpool .... please go you will not be disappointed

I didn’t realise when I booked this that the restaurant was directly opposite the entrance to our hotel (StayCity Waterfront). It turned out to be a very good choice all round though – the service was excellent, as well as the food. We particularly enjoyed the grilled Halloumi and the Gorgonzola & Fig pizzette. The rosé sangria was lovely too. Definitely somewhere we would go back to, even at normal menu prices.

Went there with my girlfriend for a nice dinner date. We've ordered a variety of food in tapas as everything seemed amazing. Prawns were cooked to perfection, chinese pork was soft and full of flavour, bao buns were fresh and pad thai was amazing. This was my first time eating there, but I would definitely go back! Service was also excellent, very friendly and polite!

Called in last night for tapas and drinks all the food was great especially the spicy steak salad omg it's was amazing. All staff seem really young but we're all so polite. Definitely be returning.

Just wanted to contact you to say how fantastic our experience was last night. We were a large group of 8 in the fabulous spacious booth area. All of the staff from the minute we arrived were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and although it was very busy still made the time to build a rapor with us. With the current climate I have found that customer service has sometimes lacked in a few establishments but not last night! We had a fantastic evening with amazing food and a great customer experience so thank you to the whole team last night!

My husband and I visited this evening (17/8). The food absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were great. Our server was really really good. We asked him a question and he was quick to find the answer for us. I couldn't believe when he told me that it was his first day - he was a complete professional - definitely a credit to the restaurant.

Went here for my husbands birthday. The food was absolutely gorgeous, everything cooked to perfection and the flavours were amazing. Love the concept of the silk Rd menu offering so much choice. The staff in here were OUTSTANDING they couldn’t do enough for us. Even my request on booking for a little birthday cake (which I totally forgot about) was brought over and fuss made. So happy and can’t wIt to return to try the rest of the menu!! 100% recommend!

We visited here tonight with high hopes as this is usually our favourite food place but unfortunately tonight the service we received was that bad it ruined our whole experience. We had a table booked in and where seated yet no menu came over to us for 10 mins until I approached staff to ask. We waited a long time for drinks then ordered our food, the food order was not put into the kitchen yet nobody told us what was going on until we had waited nearly an hour with no food to be told what the problem was. The food then came which was mostly delicious, although the ribs and duck bao buns had changed from the last time ( I think it was the sauce) and were not as enjoyable. The staff member was quite apologetic but having worked in hospitality ourselves me and my partner could notice it seemed to be quite disorganised on the floor especially with our particular waitress ( one who forgot food order) which is probably why things where missed. I feel quite upset by this visit as we usually have a lovely time with both food and service but tonight we just felt completely forgotten about and unfortunately I’m not sure we would return after this visit.

We have visited Silk road before, a while ago though when the "Giants" came to Liverpool. This visit lived up to our previous expectations, lovely food and drinks(especially the katsu curry and sangria!), great service from everyone and a relaxed, safe atmosphere. Our two children enjoyed their kids meals also. We will be back the next time we are in Liverpool and we always recommend this place to family and friends. Thank you Silk Road

We had a fantastic meal, a great selection of dishes both Mediterranean and SE Asian. The service was very good, both professional and friendly. Very reasonably priced. They have adapted for COVID very well. Tables well spaced and staff wearing masks. There was hand sanitizer available. We would highly recommend!

Came to Liverpool with my friend without any advanced planning but it turned out to be great!!!Nice weather and excellent foods!Decoration is subtle and modern with much open space. Foods were delicious! Very fresh and well seasoned.Staff was friendly and helpful.Overall, it was a good experience.Would love to come back again if I have a chance!

Ate here for the first time Wednesday, we were welcomed and sat at a table which was 2m plus away from any other customers, the table was clean and menu was also sanitised. We were served by 2 men who were extremely welcoming and helpful with the menu. We were recommended 3 dishes each but we ordered more the food was staggered coming out which was great as nothing was cold when we came to eat it! The food was amazing! Absolutely delicious and the service was quick! Only downside is there isn’t one close to home in newcastle!! Definitely will visit again! Highly recommend

My friend and I had the bottomless brunch on Saturday. It was our first time out since lockdown and you guys did not disappoint. We felt safe all precautions were taken. The service was superb as it always is. The food was amazing we both had the Gyro’s and the portion sizes were perfect. Thank you for making our first time out after lockdown so good. We Would highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back soon.

Came here on a Saturday, we were secrecies by the lovely James how was attentive and couldn’t do enough for us! The food was perfect and the drinks were even better. Even with the current restrictions we felt like we had a bit of normality as well as feeling very safe! Would 100% recommend and come back!

Great place with nice interior, very friendly staff and most importantly heavenly delicious "Forest chicken" and very tasty home made tiramisu. Definitely we will visit this place again.

The choice was exceptional. 3 to 4 small plates is plenty. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh. The staff could not be any more helpful and made it a very pleasant evening. If you want to forget about the worries of the world for a little while I could not recommend escaping here highly enough. My friend and I are currently planning our next trip as there is so much more to try. Also, absolutely accessible for wheelchair users.

From the start a lovely call from the restaurant to ensure we were still coming. Great welcome when we arrived. Lovely booth. We had a lovely meal today, we chose the following tapas dishes, Beef Redang, Caprese Salad, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Iberian Ham Croquettes, Afghan Cauliflower Curry and Katsu Patatas Bravas. The service was excellent and the secure Covid-19 measures were perfect, could not fault anything. Definitely will be coming back.

The food is out of this world, really is menu panic but what really makes this restaurant is the service. Louise and the gang were exceptional Honestly just go and see for yourself

Came here for my 50th Birthday Meal, what can I say. It was amazing, food, atmosphere, staff, the whole team made it so special for me from start to finish. You would think you was dining in a Michelin star restaurant with the quality of the food. Tried most of the tapas and thoroughly enjoyed everyone of them. So delicious, fresh and tasty. I loved the forest Chicken and BBQ ribs.Had some cocktails and a Sangria. Can't wait to return. A little gem in the heart of Liverpool.

I go to Liverpool a lot with work and pretty much try a new restaurant every time I go. I was genuinely looking forward to a meal at the Silk Road after reading their menu and reviews on a Tuesday night in Liverpool!I ordered what was described as a Filet Steak dish which was nowhere near a Filet, more like a rump (Sirloin at best) cooked all the way through, not rare as requested after I was asked! Don't get me wrong, the sauce was nice.... butAfter that I pushed the boat out and went for the Vegetarian Nasi Goreng to taste that magical sweet ginger and Ketjap Manis flavored rice. No sireee, I was presented with what looked like an Italian Risotto completely packed with salty soy sauce! Just dreadful and completely nothing like the original served all over Malaysia!!Other than the food, the place is nice, clean toilets and really great floor staff floor, which improves my review from a ONE to a TWO *

We went to Silk Road on Sunday at 5 pm, this was our 3rd visit and was excellent each time, Chris was our waiter extremely welcoming and explained the menu, service was fabulous and food was sensational different tastes from our 6 choices from the menu as well as starters was a great restaurant experience and will be visiting again very soon thank you to Chris and the chefs for the fabulous meals

Food was absolutely delicious - lots of choice and friendly service. The cocktails are great too. They have 2for£10 on selected cocktails and gins Sunday- Thursday 12-10pm and Friday/Saturday 12-6pm. Would definitely recommend.

A hybrid collection of Tapas style food from the Mediterranean and the East allows for an interesting creation of flavours to suit most people's pallets. Alas, some of the items were unavailable but it was a good selection that were tasty.

Visited Silk Rd on a wet and windy Friday evening. Booked on line, which was quick and easy. Really warm welcome from Marc and the team. Seated quickly. The waitress took us through the menu and recommended the Marco Polo set meal, which gives you a little bit of everything. Took our order quickly and the food was brought out promptly. Every dish was delicious, particularly the chinese pork and the croquettas. The staff were attentive throughout and looked after us really well. So glad we chose to eat here.

Three of us had a delicious tapas evening, we chose 10 different dishes, and all were cooked to perfection. Even though they looked small, the meal was very filling, but so good we cleared the plates.Service was very friendly and attentive, with a warm cosy atmosphere. The cocktails were amazing, the cocktologist (posh name) even had some of her own recipes.A fun night was had by all, a very satisfying experience, highy recommended.

We actually visited here because of the great Trip Advisor reviews and weren’t disappointed with anything from the service to the scrumptious food! Though I didn’t have the massman curry my friend did and it tasted delicious. The halloumi was the first I had and just perfect. I absolutely recommend the wild mushroom, chicken in the white wine reduction.

Ate here last night and loved it! Server was very friendly and helpful - forgotten his name sorry! We really enjoyed our food, ordered 3 dishes to start with and then 3 more to come out after between 2 of us. Will definitely go back next time we are in Liverpool

Firstly I would like to point out that the staff were nice, pleasant which is the reason we gave a decent tip, however the volume of food we received was not acceptable and should not be referred to as a Banquet. As it was a special occasion (50th wedding anniversary) we decided to do a dummy run the week before and opted for a lunch time offer which I have to say was good, based on this experience we decided to book and were recommended to choose the Banquet which we did. There were 19 of us in total ( 5 kids ) and we had to order extra portions because people were still hungry, really disappointed in the amount of food that came out, from rice (which costs next to nothing) to single tiny chicken skewers I could go on and on about it. Wasn't offered clean plates either so after having curry on my plate was expected to put Greek salad onto the same plate thought it was joke and perhaps they had made a mistake , none of us have particularly big appetite but were all left dissatisfied really disappointing experience, I was going to say something at the time but didn't want to ruin the atmosphere, as its not often we meet up as a family The bill approached £500 and I would have expected better portions. I have looked at their website and the pictures do not reflect the food we received, my advice is don't order a banquet for large groups.

Visited the restaurant on Saturday the 29th of Feb. My first time here, welcomed and sat down to our table, given menus and drinks ordered. Staff were polite at all times. We ordered the food and arrived, fresh and hot. Really good fusion food and we chose the banquet, really good and the customer service was excellent, will visit again.

Went to Silk Road with my mum and sister for a belated birthday meal and couldn’t have wished for more.

I've dined at this restaurant previously about a year ago and loved it. Amazing food and I was really pleased to see stifado on the menu (which they have sadly removed now for reasons I don't know!). Because of all this, I was looking forward to coming back and bringing my boyfriend for his first time.

Chose Silk Road during and overnight stay in Liverpool as its close to the main hotels.

The food was so tasty and with such a varied menu, something for everyone. The service from Danny was superb. So pleased we found this gem and highly recommend
