First time there today,very nice will go back again

Nice place to drop in for a quick coffee.

It's a tricky one... the decor /style suggests something special however, the service doesn't live up to this expectation. On the positive side, the menu offers a wide selection, is well priced and the food is well presented and tasty. The afternoon tea looks spectacular, maybe I'll try that next time with a few friends and a bottle of fizz!

Service slow and not very friendly

The best food out we have had in a long time. Helen was so accommodating, welcoming and lovely. The best experience all round, highly recommend

We've had breakfast, lunch, brunch, and evening meals here, and they've always been excellent. Of course we will be back for more!

Took about 20 minutes to get some one to take order then 45 minutes later for food ,food was nice but cold egg Benedict disappointed as no one asked if was okay and no one around to ask

My friend and I met for a long distance catch up and the service was so lovely and food was amazing, our waitress, Helen was so bubbly and friendly We had a lovely time thank you all!

Disappointed will not be going back

Only the second time we have been there and we are wondering why we don't get in more often. Really nice food with a good selection of beer and wines, and friendly staff who never seemed to stop. We will definitely be back much more often!! Thank you!

The menu has changed and although I missed some of their small plates their main dishes were just as delicious 😋.

I will not be going back. Visited for brunch with sister and mum. Ordered the French toast. It was £11.50 and consisted of 1 very small slice of bread with bacon shavings. Plenty of maple syrup but this was unused as so little French toast it would have been drowned. Service took ages and drinks order was wrong despite being asked to repeat. Left after 2 hours having paid £45 hungry and disappointed. With so many delicious food establishments nearby avoid

The food and staff were top quality. Highly recommend! Next time I will be trying the cocktail menu with my friends and family - can't wait!

Having eaten here twice before we found the food was excellent. This time I attended a Paint & Sip Party with The Canny Creators which included canapés. Such a lovely venue and the 3 of us that attended really enjoyed ourselves. I am gluten free and they made sure mine were gluten free and they were fab, my niece had dairy free and we all thought they were lovely.

We had walked past several times, my wife had always commented that it looked smart. So we called in to have a look and a drink. Ordered our drink, 15 minutes for our order to arrive, ok. When we came to pay, I had misheard what had been said by the woman who served us. She repeated what she had said previously, but with an attitude that was very demeaning, as though she really didn't have time for this. Will not be visiting again. It may look nice, service and attitude awful.

Four of us called in for coffee etc today. We noticed whilst sitting waiting that most of the customers had nothing on the tables, we found out why,nobody serving !! we sat and sat and no staff appeared anywhere in the room so we, along with another couple on the next table got up and walked out. How not to run a business !!

Lovely place and friendly staff but the water in the disabled toilet was not working for the second month in a row. Unfortunately I can’t use upstairs as I’m disabled Not hygienic

Unfortunately today’s visit was absolutely terrible. Ordered 2 coffees came after about 10 minutes Luke warm we asked the man for spoons to stir drinks took that long we had to use my disabled radar key to stir drinks. We ordered 2 eggs Benedict took about 20 minutes to arrive and couldn’t even eat them as cold this was so disappointing as previously when we go there the ladies are very helpful and rectify any problems had this been our 1st visit we certainly would never go back. Now we will return but not when this member of staff is working..

Very mediocre place . Food is not what you would expect for somewhere with duch lovely decor. The staff are polite enough but everything just seemed quite slow . I had the band bang chicken which was OK but feel the chicken skewers were disappointing. The atmosphere was OK. Its a beautiful decor but it'd just missing something

It's just such a positive experience at Signature. The team are so friendly and welcoming even if you are only having a coffee or a glass of wine.

I visited Signature lounge with family for a festive afternoon tea. Lovely venue, polite and friendly service, delicious food. Definitely worth a visit.

Just tried the new smash burger which comes with loads of choices of extras including siracha , bacon, chorizo which is a massive bonus as i love a bit of spice! oozing with cheese and succulent patties ! absolutely delicious! this is a special at the moment with a view to be added to the menu ! get in and try it , you won’t be disappointed unfortunately ate it before took a photo

We celebrated my partners 40th birthday recently and we booked the 1st floor at Signature Lounge. The room was perfect for a small gathering and we were very impressed with the decor and the overall quality. We opted for the buffet which was amazing. The quality of the food was outstanding and quests are still talking about how good it was a week after the party. The drinks were all personally served and a special thank you goes to Amanda who looked after us all night. Thank you to Vicky (Manager) and her team at Signature for a fantastic night and we'll certainly be back for the next celebration.

We were here for a private party for my husband's surprise 60th birthday. The venue was perfect and the buffet was excellent. Most guests complimented the food & choice. Big thank you to Georgia who looked after everyone taking our drinks orders. Definitely recommend for anyone requiring a private function 👌

Amazing attentive staff and beautiful interior. We both enjoyed some wonderful starters and small plates as well as wine and absolutely the best cocktails. Good for a visit with family and friends alike would highly recommend a visit.

Just home from an amazing evening meal at Signature Lounge. The staff were attentive and very welcoming from the start and throughout. The food was perfectly cooked and presented in such the most beautiful way you almost didn’t want to touch it!! Service was quick but not intruding and very friendly! Chef Jimi is a master in his work, to plate out food at that standard really is something special! Please visit Signature Lounge if you’re ever in the area and you will definitely not be disappointed.

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday at Signature Lounge and would highly recommend it! Vicky was very helpful with arranging everything. We had the upstairs exclusively for a group of around 30 people and everything was perfect from beginning to end. Georgia looked after us so well constantly serving drinks and asking if we needed anything. The venue is stunning and the buffet food was absolutely delicious, everyone commented on what a great night they had.

Went for Sunday lunch. The beef is perfect, everything cooked fresh. Our waiter was lovely. 100% recommend visiting for Sunday lunch.

After a few visits to signature in Whitley bay we decided to go back for a coffee and scones at the time it was really quiet inside. we had waited over 10 minutes for someone to arrive at our table and take our order 2 flat white coffees and 2 scones when we got our coffees and small jars of jam and Cream we expected our waitress to come straight back with the scones but 15/20 minutes later after we had finished our coffee we decided to go to the counter and complain about the service both of the restaurant employees said they would go to the kitchen and find out what happened to my scones we waited for a good few minutes before the young lady came back with no apology what so ever for our order and proceeded to the till to charge me for coffee and scones and then released we didn’t get the scones and eventually we paid reluctantly for the coffee. Probably never to return again

Had a lovely Sunday lunch with friends celebrating their 60th diamond anniversary. Our waiter Don was excellent and had a terrific memory of all 11of our names..all the staff were lovely and we had a really nice day. Definitely recommend. Xx

I visited Signature Lounge with a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Not too expensive. The Bang Bang Chicken was delicious and I'd definitely recommend the triple cooked chips. 8/7/23 - The afternoon tea at Signature is fantastic. Love it here, the food is always lovely. Had a pina calada yesterday which was really nice. I didn't get the waiter's name unfortunately but he's in his 50s with white hair. He was fantastic and so funny. A really lovely place.

Me and my wife love trying different places for breakfast. First time I had been to Signature Lounge, and i was not disappointed food was fabulous, decor is amazing and staff were super attentive, will defo go back!

The food was absolutely beautiful and the place was stunning, I was so disappointed with the service though. The gentleman that served us made us feel so unwelcome and rushed, everything by was a problem and his attitude was just so unpleasant. All the other staff were amazing but this particular gentlemen completely ruined our day. So sad to see one person ruin a lovely place.

Food and chef who brought our food really nice but the old guy who served us was very snooty maybe we didn't meet his standards as we had shorts on and a backpack very pretentious place don't go in unless your dressed as the staff will look down on you. Lovely Sunday roast. If you are doing a Sunday roast make it worthwhile. We are leaving Whitley Bay next week but this place will be a good memory .
