Called in for lunch on break from work. Had the homemade vegetable soup with wheaten bread. Good portion size and was really delicious and filling. Would definitely recommend. Reasonably priced too.

The Signature is beside the bus station and tourist office. Petal power the florist is adjoining it. We sat down at a vacant table and looked at the menu on the table. We were served immediately we decided to go for the soup and sandwich option. I had the spicy soup and my partner had the pumpkin soup. We had coffees while we waited. It was not long before the soups and sweet chilli chicken sandwiches came on rye bread. They were very tasty. The have an arrayed of sandwiches cakes and buns. They also do an afternoon tea for a reasonable price. The staff were excellent. Would recommend it

This little coffee shop is near Newtownards bus station and tourist centre. Looks like a florists/garden centre initially but is a great small cafe. It is generally quiet but has is easily the most friendly and underrated spot in the town. Great staff and good quality food. The mini Victoria sponge or Lemon cakes are fantastic. Love it.

A unexpected post shopping lunch, whilst taking a shortcut to where my car was parked. Tempted by the surrondings, menu and modest prices I decided to treat myself to lunch. I was not disappointed. Comfortable seating in an airy covered courtyard, a short but varied menu modestly priced prepared in view. Prompt friendly service in a very clean enviroment.

We called in at lunchtime on Saturday the 19th August for a bite to eat. We took the only available table present. Our server came over to us and took our order after a brief perusal of the menu. We had the soup and sandwich combo along with coffees. All served in good time whilst we read the magazines and papers which are supplied. All the food I have found here to be excellent and they also serve afternoon tea. Service and staff also excellent. This cafe is also connected to Petal Power the florist

We decided to try out the afternoon tea here today. The seats are comfortable, papers to read, nice place. We were given a choice of sandwiches, and scone, then told we could choose one tray bake each. This confused us, as it states 'selection of cakes' on the blackboard describing what you get. I requested cake instead, and this was met with an unhappy stare, and a reluctant agreement. 'Just this once' was the comment, ungracefully. When I suggested changing the description on the blackboard, a fixed grin was my answer, suggesting to me she thought 'not really your business'. Anyway, when it came, the sandwiches were fresh and delicious, but the scones and cake were rather dry. The coffee was good. We were given enough jam for one half of one of our scones at the bottom of a small glass ramekin, so I asked for more. I was told they 'had given us as much as they could as they had run out' Mmm.... So we looked at each other and eventually she said that she would send someone out for some. 'Great', I said As you can imagine, we'll not be rushing back. Such a shame, because we really enjoyed being in the actual cafe. But the attitude of the member of staff dealing with us ruined it.

Nice enough. I just think it could be a wee bit cleaner at times. Staff are very friendly which is nice and good with me daughter. Give the toys a clean and it would be better.

Had a really lovely afternoon tea here which was very reasonable priced. Fresh sandwiches, lovely moist cake and delicious scones. The coffee was lovely too. They also do very nice salad boxes and Nutella steamers. Definitely recommended. Probably nicest cafe for lunch in Ards.

Just here for coffee and scone. The coffee was fine the scone was dry. A lot of the other food looked good but the atmosphere wasn't for me. I had been before early one morning for tea, toast and marmalade. Only they don't do marmalade. The cafe utilizes a space between the front entrance to a flower/garden accessories shop and the actual door to the shop. The best I can say about it is that it feels temporary, a bit like sitting in someone's yard. I can see that they're trying to go for a nice feel with the good quality chairs and fancy cakes but it still feels damp. Sorry, just not for me.

They have a coffee machine that sounds like a road drill. For conversation you need to sit outside, if you can find a seat!
