Says they are open then get there and they are shut if you say your open actually open and serve customers or get google to change your times of opening

My daughters love this place. Very reasonable prices (£5 kids meal including drink) and friendly owner.

Bought sausage and chips, a saveloy, bag of chips and three gherkins. Saveloy was disgusting, I hate to think how long it had been sitting there . Skin was so tough and meat inside grey and grainy. Went straight in the bin . Sausage just about edible and chips greasy. And gherkins were not put in bag . Not good .!

Great service, good laugh with guy behind the counter. Food was so hot when we got home we couldn't eat it was amazing

The batter on the fish is beautiful thin and crispy.

Had a delivery a few weeks ago now but was absolutely delicious. We now don't go anywhere else for fish and chips. The chips are always so good, fish had the perfect batter and was so tasty. Everything we had was so yummy, even the little extras like gherkins, mushy peas, curry sauce. The best fish cake I've had in years too! & the portions are a great size too! Would definitely recommend.

I asked on Messenger the day before, whether they were open on Christmas eve. I could see that they had read read the message but no reply. Purchased fish and chips and they weren't too bad although nearly £22 for two people. Never did get a reply - not a good way to run a business!

Chips were amazing. Best ive had in ages. All of our food was lovely pie chips gravy..... with the unfortunate exception of the Cod £8.40 paid for a medium which looked like a small cod from Wetherspoons. Batter was chewy as well felt like it had been sat there as was luke warm at best. Rest of the food was lovely and hot. Would have been a 5* review but youve gotta get the main atrraction right

Easy ordering and only short wait to collect. Nice fish and chips with very good portions. No queue at all tonight and only short wait for my order to be prepared fresh. Cash only though now.

Awful portion size. I ordered a large chips and a large cod, it all came in one small box with a small cod and only half filled with chips. I called and was told this is the size they consider a large. The food is bland and disappointing.

Most certainly will not return here, went in (cash only) and ordered a large cod and medium chips, no option for small chips here. £10.60, what a waste of hard earned cash, what was meant to be a large cod was pathetically small, overcooked, skinny and batter was very dark. Chips were old, more sharp and hard shards and zero colour to them. More than half of it ended up in the bin. We learn by our mistakes, and I learned the expensive way here. Unfortunately this place is not listed on trip advisor or I would have reviewed there too.

Fish was vile must have been in the warmer all day

Had a sausage and chips here this evening. A weird smell and taste to the chips. Oil used to cook the chips not good. Sausages like boiled food. Not good. Update: ate my sausage and chips 5 pm. 8 pm : just about managed to keep them down.

Very nice staff a very friendly man served me ignore all the comments saying greasy chips that have food poisoning the chips were lovely and crispy and it was a good amount for the money very good amount of cheese

Freshly cooked to order I cannot fault the food here! Really pleasant staff willing to help. Crispy chips definately no soggy limp rubbish. For a chippy, first class. Worth a visit if you fancy fish and chips, you wont be disappointed!!

Ordered two fish and chips. Price is a little high but thought that they must be good, but unfortunately they I was let down. Everything tasted rubbery. Didn't enjoy the batter. And the bags seemed to have a smell that put us off. Much room for improvement, Shame, as the place looked clean and staff seemed friendly enough.

Had fish and chips who can beat fish and chips after a long journey.

Clean and tasty food, reasonably fast service and no queue when I went so I was served immediately. Lost 1 star for microwaved mushy peas

Lovely crisp chips and batter on the fish, really fresh. and not at all greasy. Ordered on the phone and delivered. All friendly service. I have had another order since and the fish was very dry, not fresh fish at all.

Fantastic fish chip shop that good priced

These are the worst fish chips we have ever had could not eat it the fish was dry and the batter almost burnt chips well over cooked had to wait for half an hour for this rubbish will never go there again.

Best fish & chips locally, had a piping hot delivery tonight within around 20 mins with chips a plenty. Crispy, not greasy, hot and fluffy. Our favourite and delivered with a smile. If you haven't tried them yet, do yourself a favour. It makes me laugh all the people queuing up outside the places in town waiting to be over charged and underwhelmed when this place will bring them to you!

All food good, BUT the fish is cooked with the skin left on, yucch! Most f&c shops around here serve the fish without skin.

The battered sausage was the 1st thing I spied, a fishcake, a jumbo plain...one beef pie, 3 large chips and a big bottle...£18 for a banging meal.

Absolutely disgusted with my meal today, batter on fish was overdone and as for the chips, I had a large portion of Chips which I managed to get at least maybe 10 chips out of it , everything else were the horrible chrispy bits that you get at the end of a days frying and the odd chip I managed to rescue was full of grease. Will not be using again.

Terrible food has gone down hill a lot waited an hour took to get my food here as girl got my address wrong told her twice chips were cold and dry soggy foul just going to see if I can find any foxes oh sheeps not don't want to poison them and find loads off dead foxes Tom morning is stevie wonder chief or something need to sort it out

Very good value, chips excellent, fish well cooked using hot fat. Staff very attentive and efficient. Would definitely recommend. Was on visit to relatives and this was the first time I had used this chippie. Mmm. Best I have had in the Bexhill area.

Visited this chippy 3 years ago when it was under a different owner. It was awful fish and chips then and we never went again. When it reopened last year we tried it. Wow what a difference fabulous fish and chips very friendly efficient service. Been twice since best chippy for miles now 😘

Just got back from placing an order, we had one sausage instead of two and one potion of the chips were missing.and the burger was burnt therefore inedible. First time we’ve used this chip shop, will not be using again!!!.

Chips as greasy as any I have ever had. That is not a compliment. Burgers are far too chewy and the lack of cheese in the cheese burger is bloody appalling. Will not return, will not recommend.

Found 2 hairs on each of my savaloys, savaloys were cold, chips were cold too. Disappointed.
