First time here. Found food very tasty and properly cooked. The food is excellent to eat in and takeaway.

This is the second time I am getting terrible service from this place. The person at the till doesn’t understand the meaning of a queue. I ordered my food first but he thinks its the last person who ordered that should be getting food first. I can accommodate one mistake, but then he proceeds to serve and deliver food for others who were behind me. I had to stop him at the till from delivering other orders until he delivered my order. Only then did I learn that he hasn’t even prepared mine!!! I had to ask for everything to be changed to takeaway. Thanks for ruining a good evening. Such terrible service!!!

Ambience is good. Graffiti showing the origin of the chain and it's connection to Mumbai. However, the Vada pav is kind of ok. Doesn't really match what you have in Mumbai. I doubt if people in Mumbai would enjoy it if this had been in Mumbai. Maybe good for UK standards only. But I believe the majority of customers are Indian. Masala chai felt more like machine tea. Misal pav was average. Samosa was ok. Sev puri was below average. If you wish to eat vada pav and couldn't be bothered to make it at home, then maybe this is one of the options.

Poor quality food and poor service. Ordered sev puri, it was just mashed potato on a hard puri, tasteless! Bhajis were sprinkled with salt, again tasteless. I grew up in Mumbai, this is not Mumbai food. Disappointing.

Value to money ..one of the best option for Indian street food lovers .

Shop location is very good. Easy to get parking 🅿️. Interior and atmosphere was good. Not very busy until 5 pm . Plenty of place to sit and good choice to enjoy Indian street food. Customer toilet available. Service was excellent and very easy to place the order . Music was perfect not very loud and enjoyable. Definitely recommending for Mumbai street food lovers in Birmingham, Coventry or Warwickshire area .

One of the sweetest places which gives a great pure veg Indian street food varieties with a nice bollywood mashup... I loved sitting and enjoying the vibe...💛🧡

I am the events coordinator for the UoB Hindu Society. We have ordered bulk items from SKVP multiple times and there has never been any issue with the food or the pricing. Their service has been exceptional and Amar has been very helpful in coordinating everything.

Food is nice but service is no good the closing time is 10pm but still they are not taking orders because they are cleaning as per them. And than whats the purpose of opening a restraunt lol. Seriously this was the last time I am coming.

Thank you for delicious food for our office Diwali celebration. Everyone enjoyed the delicious Vada pav, Medhu vada with Sambhar and chutney. They really liked indian tea and Samosas to go with. SKVP manager Amar was really helpful with his recommendations for party food and logistics for such a big order. We will be ordering again for any future events. Thank you Pooja and Priyanka

Masala chai isn't the same without cardamom. I used to enjoy it a lot here, but for the past few days, it has been completely tasteless. Also every time food tastes different 😪

This place is absolutely amazing. Hetu served us great food with her beautiful smile!!! The food is so authentic tasting. I would definitely fly in from Ireland to this place just to have the same experience again. Loved their vada pav and ragda pattice. Visited with my husband from the Caribbean ,who is so hard impress when it comes to food ,but was flat out when he tasted the food. Pls come and support them.

The chef and waitress seemed to be having a bad day. Only two of us In the place but didn't want to take our order. In the end had to use the QR Code. Food was great although couldn't help notice the Chef Mike [Microwave] was busy and then when we ordered the desserts they was dropped onto the table abruptly. Let's hope it was just a bad day. Food was good otherwise, hit the spot.

Very tasty food and excellent service by goldi and hetu . We order few items which were really tasty like bread pakora, dosa. Best food in shirley.

We ordered today and yesterday. On both days a different person delivered our food , than what it said on Uber, both were supposed to be girls , ended up being a shady looking guy each time in a different car.. Yesterday the bags were closed, today they were not, so when we got our food , 4 of our chutneys and a salad was missing , which meant we didn’t enjoy our meal as much , as they were needed with our meal. And also didn’t feel comfortable eating it , as it had been rummaged through. I called in , and was told , that they didn’t staple the bag today because it’s a safety issue , where the staple would fall in the food and they will be getting stickers soon to seal the bags. But you could have used tape? They said a different driver delivering our food , was not there problem , it’s an issue that we need to take up with Uber. However it is partially your fault, as you see the drivers profile when they come and pick up the food, why do you not check that’s it’s the right person? You shouldn’t give the person the food , if they are not the person on the system! And then you give them unsealed bags , so they can pick through our food! Will not be ordering again, as they don’t have care for the customer..

I recently had the pleasure of visiting SKVP Solihull, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. One team member namely As HETU , in particular, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and her friendly attitude truly stood out. The food was absolutely delicious, and the authentic flavors took me on a culinary journey. The presentation was impressive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the service are equally amazing, but SKVP Solihull manages to do just that! Thank you to the wonderful staff And specially thanks to HETU for making my visit so memorable. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience. Keep up the fantastic work!🤠😀😊

Had a great breakfast at Skvp. Our server Hetu was brilliant. The food and the ambience was great. Would definitely recommend.

Been here consistently since opening. Lots of favourites on the menu. Great for a quick bite. Went during opening weekend with a group of friends and wasn't overall impressed. But knowing sometime as a large group it does not allow to fully appreciate the food, my wife and I visited for lunch.. Use say very impressed with everything we ordered. Very authentic and tasty. Lots of items I want to try so will be returning to check out the variety. They've had a bit of a revamp and update to decor.

One of the worst pav bhaji ever had..paid £7.40 for it but it's not worth it even £.40p. What they used in bhaji and from what they cooked don't know. Was a ridiculous taste and experience. Overhyped #SKVP

We attended for a late lunch so it was quiet but it's a really nice establishment and the staff are friendly. I liked everything I ordered, the crispy pork was nice but I did add salt, however my daughter's steak was well seasoned and cooked very tender I didn't like the sauce with the calamari, I think it should be garlic based Even though my portion of meat was small, it was filling because it's pork belly and rich so I actually couldn't finish it! I would go again, didn't have room for dessert otherwise I would have had the churros with cinnamon

Staff who took my order didn't greet me or ask what I wanted. They missed out part of the order and looked annoyed when I asked about it. Food was really good. Table was dirty when we arrived too, restaurant was empty so no excuse for dirty tables.

Dear Britain, those things you have been eating all these years (in so called 'Indian' restruants) are not Indian food. Sorry to say but you all have been conned for all these years ;-) Finally some good and honest Indian food (not Anglo-Indian or British-Indian curries). Was tired of eating same old BORING curries with 2-3-4-5 chilly ratings and with generic names like korma/vindaloo etc... FFS Kudos to SKVP to bring this to Shirley! Update: I am afraid the standard of food and service has slipped significantly since it was first opened. - Food quality : Comproised in taste and quantity dispite price gone up. For e.g. size and quality of bread. - Delivery service: Whenever we order for take away , they always miss something in the order, for e.g. missig onion, chutny etc. - Price: It's now getting too pricey , not sure we can justify anymore. Update: Everytime I go now I see both food and service are getting worse. What a shame!

I havent went, but my uncle has and mes talked to me about it for DAYS. he mentio ed that ut was very authentic and that it gave a very 'bollywood' feeling. Hes been there many times, and LOVED the food every time.

Food quality is average. But customer service is getting poor to worst. I had ordered two chai and even after reminding a couple of times tea was not served. After going and asking him, he served the tea but never said sorry for that. Really disappointed.

Food and service is all good. This shop has recently introduced south Indian filter coffee which was just milk and sugar and no coffee and they had used instant coffee pwdr and not filter coffee pwdr. This is a North Indian eating place just stick to that, don't call it as south indian filter coffee, you don't know how to make it!!!

Veg Fried rice -very bad. Rice is not boiled properly. No vegetables, small portions. Not worth £8.50.

They have a cute place to sit down. Service was good but sadly they close kitchen at 9.30. Their vada pav and pav bhaji was too good. Sev puri was okayish, quantity was not enough.

Great place to taste authentic Indian street food.

Had ordered Vada pav , misal and pav bhaji Dry chutney in Vada pav was stale. Pav bhaji was bland. Misal was ok ok but not upto the mark. Overall a below average food and service.

I’ve been to many branches, this is a decent one. They have multiple options like any other branch. Food tasted good, we had pav bhaji, misel pav, vada pav, sabudhan vada, bhel puri and dhal makhni. Sabudhan vada was bit disappointing, the rest of the food tasted good. Service was quick, food hygiene was average.

I really disappointed with the food wadapav is ok ok and paneer makhanvala with paratha , paratha is not properly cooked .

SKVP offers incredibly affordable vada pavs that are a must-try. However, the consistency is a major issue. The food is sometimes cold, sometimes warm, and occasionally hot. Additionally, they often over-fry the chili, making it impossible to eat. The rest of the menu doesn’t match up to the vada pav and needs improvement. Initially, I rated them 5/5, but after months of regular visits, I was disappointed. If they can fix these issues, SKVP has the potential to excel.

Good vibes and mainly coustmer assistance is good by AMAR i ate bhel puri and samosa pav but i like belpuri than samosa pav but food is nice

Hidden gem in Solihull.great vegetarian food.we had masala dosa and pav vada.the dosa was crispy and pav vada very filling and nutritious.made a fine lunch.will come again.

We ordered dosa but the quality was not very good. Dosa was too much oily and the sambhar was very watery and the taste was not fresh. I told this to the person serving and he replied the sambhar should be like that which showed he was not even accepting there was an issue with it. This place is good for vada pav only.

Breakfast thali is yummy. It was very fresh and appetising 😊 must try!

To summarise: Food- Disgusting Service- Terrible Seating- Probably more comfortable in a prison. Toilets- Just don't bother. Hold it in.

Great place to go or order for vegetarian food as there's so much choice. Schezwan Hakkan Noodles tasted great mix of sweet and spicy. Schezwan Vada Pav tasty starter slightly spicy and also get green chilli if you want it hotter. Update review. This time I ordered the masla dosa. I have to say it was pretty decent. The samber and the coconut chutney tasted very nice. The dosa was well packed and the right temperature.

Digging into Indian street eats at Shree Krishna Vada Pav was a blast! Vishnu was on point with service, and Megha's grub was off the charts. Went there as we found it on google maps when we were searching for dosa. Can’t believe I had not been before as they do all my favourite foods and chaat at such reasonable prices.they also had masala chai with sugar option which is lovely! I will most certainly be returning here

Nice place, lots of food options. Been here around 10 x in total. Ordered most things on the menu… once. My issue is it’s too spicy. Everything is so hot…. They need to make their food mild so everyone can enjoy and then those who want extra spice on top can ask for it. I cant eat the food, kids can’t eat it. Shame we can’t come here…

Was great but with the time as business has grown staff has gone too proudy. People on the till are really rude. Can't order Dosa or most items after 9pm and guys on till make faces to customers. Had to walk out of it today without ordering.
