Lovely surroundings, very interesting menu with lots of dishes not usually seen in many Indian restaurants. A very enjoyable experience.

The food was good but a bit overpriced. Parking is not great, but depending on the day, it could be different. The staff were great and the service was good. I'm not sure we would go here again due to the price only the food was good.

Been twice in the last month - excellent food but service is so slow… first time was a celebration and large table, was slow but forgiven as a busy Friday night. This time was just too slow. I appreciate that this is probably due to a small kitchen/team. This time we were a table of 3 midweek and it was (total time taken); 15 minutes to order, 30 mins to get poppadoms, an hour before starters and then an hour and 40 minutes before we got mains.. the staff explained that things were being made fresh but no offer of a drink/discount to account for how long these had taken.. hence this review as I think it’s unfair to charge people full price (like £4 for a small coke) without actually acknowledging how slow things have been financially. Go, as the food is excellent but make sure you’re not in a rush.

A fantastic restaurant and a hidden gem in Shirley. Wonderful food with attentive and friendly service. A good range of options to suit vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Thoroughly recommended.

We have eaten many Curries over the years, some excellent, others not so good. I have to say that the curry we ate here tonight is without a doubt the worse we have ever eaten by far. Absolutely diabolical curry, very overpriced and very small portions, which turned out to be be a good thing as it had such a horrible taste. I ordered a chicken jalfezi and my husband a king prawn dish, both had exactly the same unpleasant taste. Nothing like any curry I have ever eaten before. At over £60 for 2 people I expected decent food and not to come home and be violently sick. Avoid this place there are much better places to eat

It’s fantastic to hear that they focus on making every visit memorable for customers, with masum dedication and the chef’s skills shining through. Came to Divine to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. Had a table of 24 so was quite a large party! The staff were so helpful as I had cakes and balloons to sort before everyone arrived. The food was fabulous as always and everyone enjoyed what they had. Atmosphere was good too. Thanks to the guys for making a lovely evening and a nice memory for my husband.

Me and my family came here for a birthday meal, the staff were absolutely fantastic! The food was phenomenal, our waiters were amazing and fast working! Even though it was very busy they treated us excellently. Overall it was amazing, definitely would be coming again👍

Absolutely disgusting service from these guys. Ordered from Uber eats and our order was delivered promptly by the driver. Unfortunately the order was incorrect so the Uber driver kindly offered to return to collect the current order. I phoned the restaurant and they just said contact Uber eats nothing they could do about it! The driver again returned bless him with another incomplete order. So again I rang the restaurant with the poor driver there talking to them while on my doorstep. The restaurant man had no interest in resolving the issue and simply just blamed Uber eats. Will never ever use this restaurant again neither will any of my family

Ordered through Uber eats, First order was wrong...guy who delivered offered to go back to Divine which he did, he went back to the restaurant to pick up correct order, we phoned restaurant to inform them driver was coming back as order was incorrect only to be told ...no you cannot return food once left the shop..however our driver did return with a new order only for the order to be wrong again.. no naan breads food was cold.. driver again apologised again, restaurant said there is nothing they can do regards messed up order/missing items, once again blaming uber eats which i beleive not to be the case.. Will not be using Divine restaurant again as this was the 2nd time we have received the wrong order.

Fantastic food it really was. I like to try new things and the staff were very helpful in recommending. Staff and chef were great. Great chill vibes can’t wait to come back. I had the Kala Bhuna. And will definitely have it again. 👍🏽👍🏽

Me and my brother went for a meal yesterday, had the mixed grill with nan and chips, lamb bengal naga with rice and garlic cheese naan, the food was fantastic had lot of flavour and spices, excellent food, the staff were friendly and kind, the manager recommended the food which was up to my standard the atmosphere was good. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy their meal.

Overall a very positive experience. Service was very slow in the beginning and requests were forgotten about. Food was nice, but believe it should be served differently. I did not appreciate needing to add my rice to my bowl of curry, as this then sat ontop of my curry. Ideally, both the curry and rice should be served separately and another plate/bowl provided. This would have allowed me to serve myself. I was also disappointed not to be able to get a glass of my preferred wine. Restaurant is very nice though! Next time, I'll either stick to my takeaway or request my food served differently (though this would be embarrassing).

This restaurant NEVER fails to deliver. The Rajestani lamb was absolutely divine. Imagine the scene from ‘When Harry met Sally’. Well that’s how I felt eating it. Seriously though, this place really is DIVINE 🩷🩷

Fantastic food for our 5th wedding anniversary and great service as always. I found the divine last year and now it’s my go to Indian restaurant. The food is equally as excellent whether you eat in or take it away. The guys are so brilliant and the friendliest you will meet. Shame about the football teams they support ha ha
