This was a great find! The food was absolutely delicious and the lady behind the counter was friendly. We ordered at 12pm (jacket potatoes, baguette, kids meal and chips). The food took 40 minutes to come out but we weren't in a rush and it was well worth waiting for. Would rather wait for good food than have rubbish come out instantly. Portion sizes were also great. The view was lovely out to the sea. The seafront and an extensive playground are located right next door. The ferry port to Southampton is a 5 minute drive.

Although we miss Jane and Eric, Isu and her team are doing a superb job. We go there most days to meet up with our many friends who are regulars. The new coffee machine has improved the quality of the coffee and, contrary to some reports, the prices are exactly the same as before. The weather this year isn't helping so let's hope for an Indian Summer. The food is great, as it always was, and Isu and the staff are very friendly and always ready to help if you have any questions. Isu clearly undersatnds the East Cowes market and will only go form strength to strength in the future. Well done, Isu and the team.

As this had changed hands I thought this may affect the food, but no, it's just as good. Ordered two lattes and two vegetarian burgers with onions. Had to ask the lady to top up the lattes as they were underfilled, but they obliged with no problem. Burgers were tasty and the location is great as you can watch the boats as you eat.

Had a couple of hours to kill before catching the ferry so took a little stroll along the seafront and came across this little cafe. Grabbed some hot drinks to take whilst we had a walk. Obviously had just opened at this point and was busy but still served quickly. On the way back we stopped for some lunch. Had a good choice of snacks to choose from. We were served quickly and the food arrived in good time. The food was really nice and the bread used was fresh. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We often visit this cafe, but this visit has made us think about not bothering again. We ordered drinks and a bowl of chjps. We had our drinks but no sign of chips. After more than 30 minutes waiting, having seen others that ordered after us receiving their food, we asked for a refund. This was refused, they argued about the time and were shown our debit receipt and even said they complete the bigger orders first. So don’t visit if you only want something quick - because it won’t be.

Sat outside on an overcast day Ordered fried on eggs on toast (granary) £3.60, the eggs were cooked well. Also ordered veggie burger £4.60 which came with onions and also what looked like a homemade tomato sauce. In the burger was sliced tomato and lettuce, all fresh in a white bun, the veggie burger tasted lovely. Two large lattes finished it off at £3.30 each, but next time may opt for smaller ones as these were just ok.

Came across this little cafe after the weekend festival Bestival when we were waiting for our ferry back to the mainland later on in the day. The people who ran it were very friendly. The prices of the food and drinks were all very reasonable if not cheap! Massive menu which took ages to choose from, it included hot meals, sandwiches, ice cream and loads more. Plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate everyone however there seemed to be only outdoor seating as it is a very small premesis. The play park is massive and in view of the seating area for parents to watch children play safely. There is also a large shallow play pool which is lovely when the weather is hot. The pebble beach is nothing to write home about and wouldn't recommend this particular location if you are seeking a beach day out as the water isn't clear however, overall, the views are pleasant. Toilets are located on the other side of the play park from the cafe. The toilets seemed clean and were pleasant enough.

Following my earlier review which was completed before sampling the breakfast menu I promised a quick update once I'd had the pleasure - and a pleasure it was indeed! At £4.95 it beats all competition and will set you up for (at least) the rest of the day. I did include a "full monty" picture with my last review as the pics were added after the holiday. Friendly owners, great food and good location especially if with youngsters as you can keep an eye on them in the play area alongside the cafe. The only negative is there's no inside/undercover seating if it's wet or blustery. The cafe is currently closed until Spring 2016.

Walked along the esplanade earlier in the summer with my grandson and he spotted that the cafe sold ice creams and so we stopped by whilst he decided what he wanted and I had a cuppa and cake. It's well located for spotting criise ships etc and next to a childrens adventure play park with paddling pool at the far end. The owner was friendly and happy to engage in conversation. I guess that in season it's a gold mine with the nearby camp site and passing visitors. I notice from other reviews that they serve breakfast and as I'm currently back on the Island and staying in East Cowes thought it would be a good place to drop by during my stay. However, I've been unable to find a website to see their offerings which in this day and age is somthing you expect. Hopefully on the basis of my previous visit it'll be worth the (short) walk!If I recall correctly the cafe closes for the season at the end of September.

Stopped for a cream tea which the wife enjoyed. Usual 2 scones provided with jam and clotted cream and a good pot of tea. They normally do Gluten Free cream tea but due to high demand had sold out of GF scones. They were however able to supply GF cheese scones so I had a savoury version of cream tea, 2 GF cheese scones, a tomato chutney and a cream cheese. Was very nice and would recommend.

Good size meals, especially breakfasts. Good cuppa, no frills just true value, friendly staff. I would visit again and recommend this café.

Stopped here for tea and we're so glad we did. Loose leaf tea in a china tea pot (not one of those awful stainless steel ones that dribbles all over the table), a tea strainer, china cups and saucers and a china milk jug - this is how tea should be served. The Bakewell slice and chocolate cake were both delicious and the portions very generous. The friendly welcome and engaging staff added to the enjoyment. Looking forward to the next visit.

Nice staff, reasonable price and we love a bit of cash preferred! Good doughnuts and hot chocolate perfect from when you come out the sea!
