Shooters Sports Bar in Manchester

Absolute jokers staff lie horrible disgusting never ever go to this venue . dirty floors, dirty beer glasses rude I would be ashamed to be associated in anyway

I went there to play with my friends outside Manchester and had the absolute awful experience and they only provided one stick per pool table…which felt that could be their own rules setting up on boards.

I like this bar, but when I came in here last weekend with my husband, we had to ask on more than one occasion for the music to be turned down, so we could watch the football. But then they put the loud music back on at half time, which was annoying. Drinks also were very expensive, but would still return, as I'm often in Manchester.

Really poor. Came to watch the NFL. Watched half of it and they changed the channel and said they couldn’t put the rest of the game on. If you are an NFL fan and want to watch the 6 o’clock game don’t bother! Rubbish

Live Football Games to watch and a great atmosphere seemed like a cool place to hang out in Manchester. Had an absolutely brilliant time. Thank You

Good atmosphere and quick friendly service

Vibrant sports bar with mouth-watering dining picks and drinks. The bar is equipped with big screens to watch football and pool tables to relish. The exact location seemed relatively incoherent to me. The bar is precisely located downstairs of the 'Printworks' building. Nevertheless, I reveled my evening there!

I went here with a group of friends for some food. The bar looks amazing and has a great atmosphere. The staff are helpful and friendly. Toilets are cleaned regularly but are not well maintained (doors don't lock; flushes don't work; taps and hand dryers broken) The food was awful. I ordered hot dog sliders (supposed to be 3 dogs with different types of topping/flavours) what a got was three pulled pork sliders with coleslaw. All of my friend's meals' looked sparse and no one was enthusiastic about their food. We also ordered cocktail pitchers at £9.95 each and while the drinks were very tasty, the alcohol was difficult to find. I would come here again but only if I was refused entry to Mcdonalds and everywhere else had burned down

Ok . Great concept . Great set up . But when I go in with a Bunch of mates , I expect to be able to have a conversation. Music way to loud . Impossible to have a conversation . You could learn from o Neills across the road , or the ivy restaurant

This place is a great addition to Manchester. I went with my family of five on a Friday night. We got right in at a huge booth. The atmosphere was really cool. There are TVs but it wasn’t too loud. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The drinks were excellent. I will definitely be going back.

Extraordinary Bar to bring in for a 16 ounces and a Game of pool or Table Football. Fantastic bar staff who rushed to serve. Likewise a decent spot to watch sport with the big screen. Splendid worth during that time 12.00pm-7.00pm £2.50 a 16 ounces on chose lagers I had carling which was right on the money. In general I would suggest a visit.

A Decent enough boozer to visit staff are great too.

Not bad, kind of groggy and a little simple for a bar. Mostly designed around men and even the woman's bathroom is a far cry from a clean and hygienic environment. Seems lost and forgotten

Visited yesterday . Asked for pint of fosters and a glass of pinot . Got a pint of German beer (from a tap that said fosters )and a glass of German wine . Both in plastic glasses (unessacery) the place only had a dozen people in .we left our drinks and will not be going in again .have always enjoyed it before .

Roomy place. A little dark inside but beer cheap and friendly staff. Three pool tables and a table football game and another game plus a boxing machine. Beer Keller close during the day and some mid-week nights I believe. Lots of Tv's to watch sports. Food menu limited to burgers, pizzas and some German bratwurst, schnitzel, sourkrout etc etc. Busy at weekends and great place to spend you're night's and money. Good for Hen nights and stag does.

Great place to stay for quiet pint, be out actually playing together in the adults play room example snooker pool 8 ball a table couple arcade machines but probably gambling machines.. good company friendly people.

Loved the tunes being played. Hubby and friend enjoyed the shuffle board game available. Drinks are reasonably priced. Highly reccomend for a night out!!

Want to watch a bit of sport? Then you can't go to wrong with this place. Loads of space and about 1889 televisions in the place. (Ok, maybe a few less) We managed to pre book a table which they placed right in front of the big screen and we couldn't really complain about the table service. We had the Bratwurst, which was actually quite nice for what I was expecting. There are plenty of games to keep you amused as well like pool, table tennis and Shufl. (whatever that is) If I had to mention any bad things it would be that there seemed to be sand on the floor at one point, the taps in the bathroom were all missing their switches, none of the hand dryers seemed to work and I guess the place can be a bit pricey.

Good selection of ales and other beers. Lots of entertainment like pool tables and shuttle boards. Lots of TVs for sports. Very friendly staff.

Don't bother. It's meant to be the biggest sports bar in Manchester...what a joke!

Don't go on a Utd Vs City Derby day unless the sauna at your gym has packed up! 😂

4/5 seems as though there was something wrong. There wasn't. Staff were accommodating, beer was cheap (if you got the right thing). My problem was that I went when it was deserted, so I can't really give it 5 stars, since, well, it was a deserted sports, you can't give 5 stars to a deserted sports bar, can you?!

I attended a private event here recently and it was fabulous. The event organiser was a delight to work with a she ensure the event ran smoothly, everything was prepared when we arrived, the food was great and the entertainment was amazing.

Me and Matthew went Tuesday afternoon and were thrilled when it was free pool till 5pm and then happy hour 12 till 9! Pint of John Smith's was £1.40 and pints just over £2 - good prices for the centre of manchester. We also had a pizza that you could tell was freshly made and it was lovely, for £5.50 for a pizza and pint I wasn't expecting much but it really was delicious. Would recommend to anyone.

Brilliant night. Food and drink are great value for a city centre venue. The manager, Charlotte could not have been more welcoming. Thanks to all the staff for helping to make it such a great night!

Had the pleasure of attending a business networking expo in the shooters bar and bierkeller.

We visited shooters/bierkellar at the start of a night out. The original plan was to head there and do one of the food challenges however my group hadn’t realised it is necessary to book in advance.

We have just held our first event at shooters, and have to say it was a fantastic venue. Charlotte was amazing from the very start of organising the event to the end. Cannot fault Charlotte and her team, the venue is actually amazing and cannot recommend it highly enough. We will definitely be holding more events there....that's if Charlotte will have us back!

Charlotte and the rest of the tram did an amazing job.

We held a private function here at very short notice and Charlotte was very accommodating with all our requests for the evening. The staff were very polite and helpful and led to the attendees having a great end of year celebration! Will definitely be looking to have more events here in the future!

Great place with 3 bars in one and vast selection of great beers

Service was bad, pool table was woeful and the drink was stale. Music being played was not suitable given the bars target crowd

Kom innom for å se ferdig Mid-Che i PL. De viste samtidig en utrolig masete lokalsending med en hockeykamp. Utrolig dårlig sending, og se kjørte lyden på full guffe. I tillegg viste de et dyreprogram på en annen TV, og Chelsea-kampen på en siste storskjerm. 95% var her for å se den kampen, så utrolig nok kjørte de opp lyden på den utrolig dårlige hockeysendingen, istedenfor å lese puben og fyre opp Chelseakampen. En av de dårligste og mest amatør sportsbaren jeg har vært på noen gang.

Great atmosphere for a sports bar. We were watching the premier league games there, it was full with people from different ages and genders!

Nothing wrong with the venue, not the worst and not the best.

Not the best bar, but not the worst. This bar is great if you want a nice beer, a game of pool and delicious food to snack on.

Shooters is hosted in the basement of the Bierkeller (so look for the latter to find the way within the Printworks). Very large venue with at least two large screens.

Went with colleagues from work and played some pool, ate some food and generally socialised. Was there on a Monday night but it was still reasonably busy so there was a good atmosphere without it being overly busy. There are multiple bars in this sportsbar with one area having mostly seating and one having 4 pool tables, seating and multiple screens laid out so you can see a screen from everyplace in the bar.

We go here to watch the Sunday football, they have recently improved the quality of the screens and the beer is ok. You may be surprised but there's not many decent places to watch football in the city centre, you do get the odd clown who wants to play pool on a Super Sunday during the match but other than that it's ok. The food is ok too plastic menu but it's ok for a snack.

This is a great venue to go with the lads when watching the sport. The only issue is that it is very dark in the bar area as its mainly underground.

Un Sports Bar dans toute sa splendeur. Des écrans pour tout voir, de l'alcool à foison, une ambiance décontractée avec un personnel très sympathique. Un lieu comme il en manque en France. Pour les amateurs de sports adresse incontournable en plein centre de Manchester.

I was organising a stag do for my best friend and Karl the manager was amazing! He was really helpful and everything ran like clockwork. The bar has some massive TV screens and is perfect for any sporting event. Spot on!

Drinks quite expensive but decent sports bar, clean toilets, plenty security. I didn't eat here but noticed other people eating and food looked decent. Overall, good!

Went here to see Tottenham play Liverpool and Real Madrid play Barcelona. Unlimited TVs hundreds of fans. Great beer selection. Standing room only and had a blast. There was a DJ and a bunch of hen parties and stag outings in another room. Did not eat there and wouldn't plan on it.

For a bar with an incredible setup for watching sport, you would think they would put effort into the food and drink, they do not. I was in there for a Liverpool United match on tv. I have been previously, and, to be fair, I can look past the fact they serve rubbish beer in plastic cups because I appreciate the amount of carnage broken glass could cause in there when busy.

Arrange a visit here, with 3 mates, for the Liverpool Man United match 17th Jan. I'd never been before but the website looked really good. Joined their mailing list and am awaiting the loyalty card which gets you money off your beer and food. Its located within the Bier keller in the printworks, so a doddle to find.

Came for my dads birthday midday, me, my brother, mum and of course dad. Ordered 3 pints and a fishbowl which came to over 20 odd pound. Pretty standard price i felt. But then the barman, think his name was Dan, offered me a privilage card which got me 25% off! round came to somehwere round 15 pounds and was chuffed. He was kind enough to tell me about other offers the card gives you was genuinely helpful in our time there.

I attempted the hot wing challenge. I'm no novice to hot food. I've beaten several challenges before. This, however, not only beat me, but made me cry like a little girl. My entire system knows all about it. I managed three out of fifteen.

I came here as I couldn't get tickets for the manu v Liverpool game at Old Trafford, but Shooters made me feel like I was there. Had great service from the bar staff and the food was amazing. When the big game was on all the fans were chanting along throughout the game. Was even better with Manchester United winning in the end. Will definitely be coming back next year.

20 minutes to be served. Not many people at bar but just kept getting ignored. Then pricing was so expensive. Went back to bar for another drink. Two men let me be served first but the bar man served all 3 together. So ended up serving me last. The bottles of beer I was gives was poured into plastic cups although our first drinks were allowed In Bottles. It was only mid afternoon. Then I was short changed and the bar man challenged me. I am not a type of person to lie about this and I was annoyed he didn't believe me. I ended up with my money returned though. So disappointed with my service. Shame really as it has potential.
