Best best best. Literally feels like back home. Quality of the food is amazing. Chenjeh was really tender even better than big resturants from back home🙏🙏

I have tried kebabs all over Brighton and Hove, and this place is by far the best. Delicious food, every time, without fail. The rice is next level and the chicken is always cooked to perfection. The presentation when you order via Deliveroo is always great, as well. These guys care about food, and it shows in the quality. It's on the more expensive side, but well worth it. I love the shiraz salad!

A lovely restaurant in Hove. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious and fresh. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I mainly get delivery from this place as they do the best Persian food in Brighton IMO. My usual order is: - Shiraz Wings - Ashe Reshteh - Gheymeh (or Bamieh) - Shirazi Salad ..and if I'm feeling cheeky the Joojeh. Make sure to load up on additional chilli sauce (it's home made and fresh). If you don't order from the Persian stew then you're missing the trick completely.

The food here is 10/10 would highly recommend, came with a friend and Samira gave us the best recommendations of what to order, fantastic service and food. Will definitely be back soon!!

Our second visit here in just a few weeks. Learned from the last visit - ordered additional bread and halloumi with our small plate starters and an extra skewer of meat with the mains……five skewers perfect for four people, including the excellent lamb ribs. They serve too much rice however. Food was perfect, service still a little slow/haphazard and their communication (‘phones and emails) pretty poor. Great restaurant

Had a lovely meal at Shiraz with friends. It’s nicely decorated, all staff were friendly and attentive, and the toilets were clean! We ordered the sharing platter and everything was delicious, plus plenty of food for 4 hungry people. The only thing that let it down was the Irish coffee, on the expensive side at £9.99 and you could barely taste the whiskey. I would definitely go back but stick to the excellent espresso and baclava next time.

Whenever we are in Hove, we make a point of going to this excellent family-run restaurant. The decor is elegant, the staff are friendly but the main reason of course is for the superb foot. The boneless Joojeh chicken, tandoor bread (with garlic mayo and a very spicy chilly sauce) and home-made Persian Bastani icecream are firm favourites. I cannot recommended them enough: delicious and healthy! Watching the chef cook your food on the charcoal grill is also rather mesmerising! Can't wait to go again!

The best restaurant in Brighton and one of the best restaurants in Britain for those who come from London for it. Do not regret it, I recommend Al-Koubidiyah and Al-Sultani to you.

Newly opened Persian restaurant great food and excellent service highly recommended

We had been staying in Hove for a few days and stumbled across Shiraz on an evening stroll whilst looking for somewhere to have dinner. As we walked by there was a buzz and chatter exuding from the restaurant. We decided to chance our arm (we hadn’t done any research prior to going out) and head into Shiraz. The food was excellent as was the atmosphere (ambience) with attentive staff. We would highly recommend!

I recommend their Kabab Torsh and Kashke Bademjan 👌🏻 The atmosphere is very lovely but it can be too noisy in peak times

Incredible gem of a restaurant serving both flame grilled and slow cooked dishes. We both had traditional dishes cooked to perfection and then, when it was too late and we had no room left, started drooling over what everyone else was having as well. The answer? You need to go more than once to fully appreciate Shiraz. We'll be back again... and again. Huge thanks from two very happy customers.

A great experience, this Shiraz dinner. For 4 people, with the starter/main course at £95 + 3 desserts and a very decent red wine from Rioja, cost £140. The welcome is friendly and the service attentive. A slight regret about the quantity of starters, very good indeed. On the other hand, the skewers are copious and succulent and the desserts delicious - Baklava in particular. An excellent address!

Pleasant experience, back in Sussex for work and picked a nice restaurant, small cosy but the food was good, felt a bit rushed to finish but an overall good experience!

We had a fantastic meal accompanied by some exceptional service. They were lovely and the food matched. Took our two boys with us who are sometimes a bit hit or miss when we dine out but they finished the lot. A superb experience. I would highly recommend Shiraz. Very welcoming and family friendly.

Good service,attentive without being too intrusive. Food was well cooked and my lamb was like velvet,melted in my mouth. The restaurant was busy but this did not affect service or food.

The food was great. Definitely recommend. I booked a table, mentioned it was a celebration. Asked for longer time. But when we arrived. The waiter just rushed us from the second we got in. They did not acknowledge my booking or note. I felt like we got the worst table, rushed service and to that is why I could not give 5 stars. Also, the waiter recommended salad. But I asked for dolmades. But we got salad. Did not complain as it was 😋 tasty!

We have been out several times for dinner and have kept walking away disappointed-until now- we had dinner here last night- was greeted with really happy staff. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, the food was absolutely amazingly -I mean melting the mouth! The staff were attentive without being harassing - the perfect hosts in my opinion! The prices were really good and the portion sizes were a good size. This is now definitely a must on my restaurant list and my wife and I will definitely be going back here again!!!

High quality Persian foods. It was reasonably priced. It somehow took a while to get service. Need to reserve beforehand for dinner.

Excellent food - really tasty - and very friendly service. Only comment is that the portions are huge, so could easily share a main, adding sides. That way you can save room for dessert...

Had a delivery and was good. Koobideh was fatty as expected but really well seasoned and tasty. Lamb and chicken was good too. Rice was on point because of the resting meat juices and nice touch with the grilled tomato and pepper. Just needed more flavour and seasoning with starters in my humble opinion. Worth a try for sure.

Our family love this place and visit as often as we can. The welcome is always so friendly, service is always top, even when super busy, which it often is! We do generally have the same dishes every time we go, as we all love them so much (joojeh, gameh badamjoon) and find it very authentic and full of flavour. Love the minced chilli sauce and garlic mayo too.. Always a great experience.

The food and service are great! The menu is mostly lamb, a few chicken choices and veggi sides. Good size portions, definitely ask for the garlic sauce and chilli sauce - later super spicy 🔥 The waiter was brilliant, very attentive and service was swift even though they were busy.

Kept us waiting and the whole service was hectic, slow and unfriendly. The food was average - not nearly as good as Aydo on Brighton Marina!

Have tried this place twice now and on both occasions the food has been nice. However on our recent visit 2 members of my table ordered a double chicken Joojeh for only half of the meal to come over. The guy serving said the rest of your chicken will be over soon. This is not good enough, by the time the chicken arrived the meal had been eaten. We didn’t order a double to receive a single and still pay the same price. Rather than waste the chicken that was late we took it home for our dog! This has put me off returning, plus the service is really slow. We also ordered Hummus and bread x2 for only 1 basket of bread to arrive between 5 people. When I asked for more bread the guys said that was it unless I paid for more. We waited at least half hour before our main meals came out after the starter for more bread to arrive! I was like wait when we asked for more you said we need to pay. We didn’t need more bread at that stage! Overall this place could be so much better if service was quicker and food was served at the correct time and as a whole, not half your bread now or half your chicken now and the rest you can have later! Shame really as I won’t be returning.

We had a wonderful experience at Shiraz Persian Restaurant in Hove recently. My partner and I ordered the sharing platter for two, with halloumi and chicken wings to start, then lamb and chicken for the main and chips and rice as the side. It was all absolutely delicious. There was a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and made sure that we had a great evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Persian meal.

The food is OK, but the service is so bad. The waiter is inattentive, impatient, and has an attitude problem dealing with customers. This is our third visit to this restaurant; we come here because we like Persian food, and it is close to our home. Unfortunately, we always have this same waiter to spoil our dinner with his arrogance and impatience. We will not be visiting again and won't recommend to friends any more.

We just been to Shiraz Persian Restaurant, I had lamb fillet kebab & mince lamb kebab (Sultani) with rice my wife had chicken (Joojeh) kebab with rice. Food was very good and cooked to perfection, staff are friendly and polite. Price very reasonable for Brighton. We definitely will be back.

It is such a shame for such a wonderful restaurant to have a graceless waiter. We chose the restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary; as we entered one of the waiters (the main male waiter) approached us. He asked if we have booked, and my husband replied in a very clear English; " Yes, this is our wedding anniversary and we have booked." The waiter raised his voice and repeated "But did you book!". My husband is such a gentleman, so he repeated his sentence for him again. The owner on the other hand was very polite and generously gave us some extra meals for our next day's celebration order. Some of our guests were vegetarians so we had to call the restaurant to ask if there was meat in one of the dishes. The same graceless waiter has picked up the phone and was absolutely rude over the phone too. It's really a shame because I wouldn't hesitate to give five stars if the waiter wasn't so rude, especially when the owner himself is such a polite, kind and friendly person. We will go back to the restaurant but certainly NOT on our special days. Nobody wants a graceless person to appear on their special occasion.

Disappointed with our meal, lamb shank was so large it was not from a "lamb", more like mutton, it was tasteless and with a piled up mountain of dried rice, other than rice and sheep there were no greens or salad.. The seating was awful. We constantly had staff walking between our dining space. One thing that surprises us is that the staff turned away customers stating they were full, however, there was always space for their friends who were given the best seats.

We went here on my mums birthday. We were a table of 14 but despite the size of our party there were no hitches and food was gorgeous. Everything was served with a smile and they even sang Happy Birthday when they brought mums cake. Would definitely visit again. I would recommend the lamb stew with kidney beans and lime but it was all good.

I Was looking for a special place to celebrate and this restaurant certainly was on top of my list it has my favourite cuisine so we went there with no booking upon arrival we received very warm welcome ,food is always top notch at this place so I really enjoyed my meal I ordered I also had surprise birthday song and cake from restaurant which made me so happy I just want to thank you guys again x

Having previously enjoyed a takeaway, I wanted to experience the food directly from the grill. I was not disappointed. We had the sharing platter for two, which would probably serve three. We took the leftovers home for lunch the next day.

It was the worst experience of my life. Have never had such a bad , dry kebab and rice in my life . All grilled Kebabs no matter which we chose were dry and tasteless. The rice wasn't basmati rice and very dry and tasteless. Mastomusir had hardly any musir in it and dolmeh was like ready bought one from can, cold and tasteless. It took over ane hour until we got our mainfood on the table. I will never go back there.

Delicious fresh food and dips to die for. Service was friendly and attentive. Very busy early on a Saturday evening with the cricket in town but staff were still attentive and friendly.
