Ship & Trades Fish Bar in Medway

Seem to prioritise Just eat etc over walk in customers. Over 10 minutes wait for sausage and chips that was cooked and available in the heated cabinet when I ordered!!

Cancelled order with no reason looks like I will be giving this place a miss however looking at some of the pictures of the food can't say that's a bad thing

By far the worst fish n chips I've EVER had! All burnt and tasted like the oil hadn't been changed for a while! Will not order again 🤮

Have used this chippy many times. Food is normally OK, but today it was terrible. Chips were fine, but the fish must have been sitting there for ages, that batter was hard, and the fish really dry. Probably the last time I will use them

I ordered rock and chips , as soon as I opened the fish to take the bone out it stunk of ammonia, I phoned the shop to complain and all they could say was we sold a bit of rock just before you had one and they never complained , so now I am reporting them to the food hygiene agency and I will never use them again

Just ordered Large fish and chips, sausage and chicken nuggets. Poor poor quality food everything was dry definitely not fresh at all. Fish was tasteless too. 50 quid for poor food which I expect better for paying that amount on food! First and last time I’ll be ordering anything from here! I wouldn’t even of given it a star!

Used the chip shop many times before and we're some of the best around but I'm guessing it's changed hands. Ordered battered sausage and chips both if which must have been left over from lunchtime service, chips were crunchy, sausage had shriveled up and the batter you could have thrown through a window. Won't be going back

I needed a late dinner so grabbed a huge portion of chips from here as I was staying next door. The service was excellent, as were the chips!

Food - as far as fish and chips go the food tastes good but for what it is in medway you can get fishNchips of similar quality for less. Service - the guys working here seemed friendly enough. I didnt have cash and initially just wanted a portion of chips. Their card min is £3 and small chips is £2.90. I dont know where the nearest ATM is but in hindsight other businesses offer this info. Atmosphere- its a chippy haha, what do you expct from the atmosphere haha. Honestly they cant do anymore to improve this element so 5*

Great food, friendly staff, it's quite busy on Friday nights but they still turn the orders around quickly.

Good 'restaurant', relatively expensive but the food is pretty good.

Turned up at 21:00 on a Thursday and closed.

Chips taste good but the portion size is ridiculous large chips and large kebab feeds 2 small kids up at brompton fish and chips a large chips and large kebab feeds a whole family and the pitta bread was soggy I won't be going here again

I'd argue the fish and chips here is the best in the country
