We been to this place about 5 times we feel the service and food quality is going down and will not be going there again Upon arrival we gave order straight to the chief and ask for a good karahi plus other dishes chief said don’t worry i make a really karahi but it was burnt, we reported it but they did not try to put things right so will not be having our custom anymore and will not recommend it to others

Amezing place for real taste 😋. I have tried several other places but Shinwari Darbar is best throughout the UK 👏 for authentic taste and proper use of spice with lovely hospitality. Don't go anywhere else in Birmingham if you are looking for real taste 😋

They accepted my order online on just eat and decided to cancel it after 30 mins. Ridiculous behavior. If u cant fulfil the online order , just switch off the online platforms.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the amazing food at Shanwari Darbar, and I must say it was an incredible experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and I could really taste the authentic Shinwari flavors in every bite. I went in for takeaway, and not only was the food great, but the hospitality I received was top-notch. The owner is a very humble and kind person, which added to the overall positive experience. I can't wait to go back, and I'm looking forward to recommending this place to my dad, who's a big fan of traditional food.

Ordered mixed grilled (large) last night, make an complaint immediately when we get home , only 4 lamb chop , 4 wings , one lamb tikka and one chicken tikka , there is no 2 shish kebab . They said will get me next time rather than ask me go back to the restaurant , and the rice same little as ( medium mixed grill ) , but you pay extra £9 more . Wouldn’t go back again.

Food is good but rubbish customer service the old man is so rouod I asked for more sueses ther was 3 maels but gave 2 sueses I don't understand we paid exustion for mail the you only get 2 sueses get gripp and smile

This is new Afghani/peshawari food restaurant. Today I tried the famous chappal kebab, and it was good. Would not say the most delicious but good. Whenever I go to restaurants , the first thing I check is if the place stinks of cooking food and I am afraid this is no exception. It's typical of any peshawari chappal kebab restaurant I have visited.. once you go in, you come out smelling full of food stink,, which really puts me off. However it's not as bad as other restaurants I have visited, but the smell is still there. The atmosphere is good, traditional sitting on the raised floor is available, with family partitioned section as well. The service is good with he owner present and welcoming all their guests on their food tables with his unique style and smile, it's a nice touch.

I want to come to this restaurant one day when I come to London, the food looks great, I think the taste is also great.

MashaAllah beautiful food. Best lamb chops I've had. The mix grill is well worth the price at £17, and the flavours are unmatched. The owner himself was so welcoming and made sure we were happy with the food. 10/10 on the mix grill, and karahi . Chapli kebab and naan was also very tasty . Will definitely be returning soon.

Shinwari Darbar is situated at a busy part of Stratford Road. Visited yesterday with some friends. Overall experience was satisfactory. Lamb Karahi was excellent. All other dishes like Chicken Karahi , Dumphukat was also good. Chapli Kebab needs some improvement. Service was excellent. Owner himself was busy in welcoming guests and trying his best to make the experience of visitors to a memorable one. Price wise it is moderate. They have ample sitting outdoors and indoors, Especially they have a floor Seating also to have a true Afghani/ Peshawari feel . In the end , Management served Free Kahwa/ Green Tea for all of us as compliment with traditional Ghur ( Sweetner ) . The whole feel was like you are sitting in Namak Mandi or Qisa Khawani Bazar in Peshawar and enjoying traditional Peshawari/Afghani Food. A must go place.
