Excellent Service and Atmosphere. We collected our order of Chicken Korai and King Prawn Balti, nan and poppodoms which was cooked perfectly, probably the best king prawns I have ever eaton. Next time we wil eat in.

I had the special garlic Bhuna, and it was outstanding. I’ve eaten here a few times and have never left disappointed. A must try for anyone in the area. 5 stars.

I have not received my order yet (well over the allocated delivery time) and when I contacted them they dealt with the issue appallingly. Told me it would be another 30mins & then it was 10mins and a free poppadom but it’s still not here. I just kept getting told “it’s left the restaurant”. Have ordered many times before but I will not order again. It is well past dinner time!!

Small but beautiful restaurant. Excellent, attentive waiting staff. (NB Bring your own alcoholic drinks.) First class presentation of food. Huge menu choice. Went as a foursome and all really enjoyed the dishes selected. Starters were superb. Main courses for the taste of two of the four guests could have been slightly more spiced but in discussion, it was very clear that adjustments would be made, if requested. The staff would, without doubt, cater for an individual’s taste. A splendid evening. Worth the trip from Cornwall. We wish you every success in the future. We’ll return asap.

This is honestly one of the best indian takeaways I’ve ever used. Delicious food, great range, decent portions, reasonable prices and great service. I would not hesitate to recommend.

food quality seems to have gone down lately. lamb a bit overdone in my opnion.

Food was alright...not as great as I thought it was going to be for the high price, sauce in both dishes was very runny, dansak was far to hot need to cut down on the chilli it takes away from other flavours, big chunks of tomatoes in both mains, very off putting. Wouldn't recommend to be honest.

Meat was tough not tender and rice was not freshly cocked

Unfortunately the lamb was tough and not cooked properly and the salad was sloppy and wet. I will not be ordering again. The rice was perfect with the lamb sauce!

Food was bland, tasteless, and very poor quality and the delivery driver was extremely rude. He rang my buzzer saying he could not be asked to come to my door to give me the food as it was on the third floor due to 'covid restrictions'. Then questioned on what covid he was referring too he stated that it was in fact due to a 'heart condition'... yeah right! Then once I was forced to come outside into the rain in my pyjamas he was very rude and shouting. Poor customer service and rubbish food.

All we can say is wow!! We haven’t had a take away in many months and so ordered our favourite one tonight. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will defiantly be back again soon. We are also planning to eat at the restaurant soon too. Thank you 👌🏻👍🏻

Great tasting food full of flavour very fresh and hot when delivered.

Delivery driver did not follow instructions and instead I had to come out when I am isolating.

We ordered keema naan and aloo chaat. Keema naan was fine but aloo chaat was abysmal. It was not even aloo chaat, just some poorly made aloo curry. Dnt even think it was understood what an aloo chaat is. Pls don’t put on menu what you can’t do a good job for or dnt even know what the dish is supposed to be!

For the 2nd time things are missing from the order and when you phone them they are very rude and refuse to deliver the missing items. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN

Lovely and flavoursome meal, with the restaurant following the requests that we made about onion. A very enjoyable meal.

Ordering was easy. Delivery arrived on time, friendly and polite deliveryman. Food was great...hot and delicious. Will be ordering again.

in summary. food arrived and chicken korma did not taste right compared to past orders. bottle of lemonade was missing and driver was informed. driver came up with excuses, claiming i hadn't ordered that, followed by 'the restaurant must have ran out'. called restaurant to solve blunder. when lemonade was delivered later, I took a drink tasted funny and so I checked the expiration date ro see it expired in March. really unhappy. waste of money and time.

We went when it was very quiet so the service was fast. The food was OK, I wouldn't say it was bad but it wasn't great either.

The taste of the sauce is not authentic.

No idea about nonveg food Why there is good rating infact I saw the rating that is why went for it ,but vegeterian food was so distasteful I had to throw most of the food which I never do, they shouldn't say that they are selling Indian food when it was not at all indian except the name of the dish, only good thing that it was sent on time.

We have been eating from Shimla Pinks for over a year and love these guys. Great food and excellent quality and food prices. The best we have found in the local area and well worth a try - lovely folks as well which goes a long way.

The best Indian I’ve had in London, and I don’t say that lightly! I ordered the chicken dhansak and the flavours were incredible - a great mix of sweet and spicy (and I like my spice). I also ordered some other vegetable sides, rice and naan - all of which were equally delicious. Great size portion, food was really hot on delivery and very friendly delivery driver. Would definitely order from Shimla again - you can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. Thank you!

I order 2 portion of chicken tikka masala: portion was small, meat was dry and without tikka masala sauce. I'm dissapointed.

Food arrived on time and hot, my chicken tikka jalfrezi lacked heat and flavour. My main issue was with the peri peri king prawn dish, the portion size was absolutely tiny, about 5 or 6 mouthfuls, and cost over £15, so very overpriced.

The food was okay, chicken tikka masala wasn’t nice at all. I’ve had much better. Chicken jalfrezi didn’t really have any heat to it even though I asked for it as medium. The chicken in both dishes tasted over cooked, was very dry and not moist at all. Rice was okay, came quite cold.

Very tasty and fresh food. Was nice and hot when it arrived. Delicious. We enjoyed the lamb saag-full of flavour; chicken tikka masala and butter chicken, all very tasty and the meat was good quality and tender. Many thanks to the owner who delivered the food himself to our door.

We had another very good meal at Shimla Pinks. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The food was excellent and very good value for money. I wish we lived closer.

We have become regulars here and have found the food excellent and very reasonably priced. A few of our favourite dishes are the chicken jalfrezi, chicken korai, king prawn biriyani, and a mushroom rice to die for. The portions are huge compared to many other restaurants and, believe me, we have tried a quite a few but keep coming back here. We often bring friends along who also enjoy eating here. We have also seen others who have made this their local so I was quite surprised to see the negative reviews. We hope that others who are considering it just give it a try and we hope that they find it as good an experience as we do.

Poor quality food had upset stomach . Disgusting poor flavours poor representation of Indian food . If only they showed care of quality of there meals and reputation instead off cutting so many corners and sending out trays of slop ive had better from The freezer selection of any high street chain.

This is the only delivery service that makes you wait outside!! Absolute stupidity... you have to stand outside and wait for the delivery person to come straight up to you (very closely) and hand you your order... All other service providers leave it at the door

I wasn't sure a first because of the mixed reviews so I placed a phone order for delivery after speaking to staff member, seemed ok. I not a fan of too much spice in my curry. Food was delivered in a 30min(ish), was good and would order again (it an option in the current situation).

My favourite Indian place! The food is always excellent here and they have all my favourites. The people delivering are always friendly and the butter chicken, bombay potatoes and mixed starter can legitimately turn my entire day around. I never order Indian food anywhere else!

On Just Eat it stated a 20 minute wait for pick-up and then once the order had gone through it changed to 40 minutes!

Absolutely superb food - generous portions of nicely spiced, juicy and flavoursome dishes. Rarely leave reviews but this was brilliant. 100% we'll be back again.

Very odd “contact free delivery” they ring you and make you wait outside in the cold for 10 minutes rather than buzzing? Not sure how this is “contact free” as the driver still come to me... would be simpler if they just buzzed rather than making us wait outside

Refused to enter my apartment building - very disappointing. What would I do if I was self isolating??? Small portions- will not reorder.

First time ordering from this place. Food was ok, nothing special, except for peshwari naan which was flavourless. I ordered at 8:20 pm and quoted a 9:45 delivery - in the end it came at 11:10pm, close to an hour and a half late. No update provided by the restaurant. I phoned once it was an hour late, got through on the 3rd attempt. I was told then it was 5 minutes away, clearly not the case as it then took 20 minutes. Summary: awful service, ok food, wouldn’t recommend.

Food turned up three hours, and was missing items

Food was nice amd tasty but delivery was bad, ordered at 8.30 and it turned up at 10.15 while I understand with the current situation things may be busier but maybe restaurant should not take on orders they can not fulfill?

The restaurant was exceptionally busy last night - understandable given the circumstances - but unfortunately this led to the food arriving 3.5 hours after ordering. Food was ok when it arrived and I was offered three quid back for my troubles.

My friend is a coeliac and called to enquire which of their dishes were gluten free as there was no indication from their menu online (which is actually a legal requirement to know and also publish). The person who answered the phone was incredibly rude and patronising, ‘we don’t have time for this’ so name a few of the things he said to my friend on the phone. A restaurant that clearly doesn’t care about allergies or the health of their customers, will never be going back there again.

Food was bland, delivery was late

This is my local. Where the food is nice the staff are unpleasant and extremely rude. The little short skinny one, he’s like a feisty chihuahua! You can’t reason with the guy. No matter how politely you speak to him he’s just rude. I’ve complained to the manager a few times. But he’s just reassured me that he’s trying to find a replacement. I’ve tried to remain loyal to my local but enough is enough tonight was the last straw, they’ve lost my custom. If you go there look out for him. You won’t go back after he’s served you. A lot of the locals have stopped going there and all complain about the same thing. The food: it’s nice. But used to be much much better. But still good enough to recommend It’s a shame because this is a lovely little restaurant that could do so well. Unfortunately it’s always empty and the reason why is very clear. Change your staff guys or go out of business.
