Shhhh Coffee Shop in Sheffield

Solo una pequeña cafetería pero bien presentado. El personal era joven, pero cumplieron sus funciones de una manera eficiente y amigable. Solo apareció inicialmente para tomar un café mientras compraba y antes de la cena del domingo. Sin embargo, los scones expuestos eran demasiado atractivos. ¿Mermelada y crema? -Por qué no. No decepcionaron.

Llamamos para el desayuno, tuvimos que enviarlo de vuelta y nos reembolsaron que estaba cubierto de grasa negra vieja, parecía asqueroso no volvería a usar este lugar cuidado amigos

A lovely little cafe, have visited quite a lot over the years, live locally. Only thing that lets it down is the outside seating. We wanted to sit outside this morning as it was lovely weather but unfortunately couldn’t because there was someone smoking on every table! We don’t smoke and don’t wish to inhale other peoples smoke, why are there no tables that say NO SMOKING ?? Please can you do something about this, it isn’t fair for people who don’t smoke to endure this filthy habit!! Just wanted to point this out as there are other people some with kids who are of the same opinion as us.

Myself and my daughter have been regular visitors of this coffee shop for many years and have always had excellant service and lovely food but the last few times we have been have not been up to scratch. Visited on 29th June. The usual lovely lady that is in was on holiday and they had 2 members of staff in, one from Tinos (the sister cafe) and one very new one. They were both very nice but messed up our order which I thought I'd made clear but the lady on till was very new so you make allowances. Lots of other customers were getting their orders wrong too. Next visit was 4th July. The regular lady was back from holiday and had the new member of staff with her who took our order. This time the food was correct but we were over charged and had to ask for it to be put right which it was. Third visit was today (7th July) I ordered a cheese and onion ciabatta with crisps and side salad and a cheese ciabatta on its own for my daughter. I was asked if I wanted any sauces to which I said no. I also ordered an apple juice and a pot of Earl Grey tea. There was 4 members of staff in. The drinks were very slow in coming ( it wasn't busy) as was the food and I had finished my pot of tea before the food even arrived. I say a pot of tea but it was only just over half full. When the food arrived both ciabattas were toasted which I didn't ask for and one had mayonaisse on it. We had to ask for them to be redone which they did but again it took ages. I don't think we will be returning for any food again. I am a member so will perhaps pop in for my free drink once a month until my membership runs out in December but that's all. This dropping in standards is very dissapointing as this coffee shop has always been a great favourite of ours.

I visited this cafe with my cats Nancy and Benji. on 24th May. I was on the way to a knitting group at the library. I had a sausage roll with ketchup and a slice of Victoria Sponge cake. I also got a slice of carrot cake to take with me. The food is excellent. Rebecca the waitress is very polite. My food was brought to my table. I gave Rebecca a nice tip. Shhhh Cafe is nice. It is next door to the Crystal Peaks library. It is accessible. There are no steps. The menu has lots of choices. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Been many times in the past. Friendly staff and lovely drinks. Tried the breakfast for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. Gluten free/vegan cakes available.

Popped in for a treat whilst shopping. Loved the coffee, kids loved the cake. Excellent service. Great find. What more do you want!

I went in here for a coffee and wow! It was by far the best I’ve ever had. I purchased some fresh coffee beans to take home with me and they are just as good at home. Excellent value for money and I will certainly stop by again soon!

Lovely coffee shop serving the best fruit smoothies - perfect in this nice summer weather we have been having

I got in touch with the coffee shop as I was aware of their take away afternoon teas which I fancied for my birthday. They were brilliant at responding to me and making one change to the food that I'd requested with no trouble. I'd heard brilliant things and I was really looking forward to it. I picked it up in the afternoon and the lady serving me told me it would be fine to eat the next day providing I kept it in the fridge. I took it straight from there to my fridge and kept the air con on it in the car for a 10min journey. When it cane to eating it the next day I took it straight out the fridge as soon as I wanted to eat it and found some of the sandwiches were stale, some of the cake was undefinable as in it was just soggy mush and the cream on the Scones was off and stunk like sick! I messaged them to clarify that it was safe to eat the next day which they said was right I explained how I found the food and was it was assumed that I'd not.got it in my fridge in time or got it out too soon before eating it. No questions asked! No offer of any sort of compensation or refund for this instead I was blocked from their Facebook! I know I wasn't rude or offensive in my messages I felt that that was an overreaction for what I felt was me trying to be civil and be honest with how I found my food to be from them. I feel it's important to support locally and independent businesses but I think how this has been dealt with is very unfair. £20 to me is a lot of money for stale and gone off food! My birthday tea was spoilt :(

What a lovely little coffee shop. Thought I'd gone back to Italy. The service and food was excellent but the bonus was the wow factor of the coffee . Please visit you won't be disappointed. Good luck folks.

Excellent service from the friendly staff, was offered a choice of breads and sandwich fillings and they were happy to accommodate all our requests. Warm welcome on arrival and quick, covid safe, collection procedures in place. Halloween afternoon tea boxes were decorated and full of spooky treats. Lovely selection of savoury sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps and salad along with enough cakes and scones to feed a small army! All really fresh and tasty, very filling. Would highly recommend.

Recently visited this cafe with my partner our first visit and thoroughly enjoyed it , the social distancing and sanitizer where all in place and worked very well we both had the fruit scones and a tea and coffee , the scones where the best we have ever tasted ,the staff where very helpful and pleasant a lovely visit we will be going again well done.

Been before and never had any cause for concern. So ordered the burger come back few minutes later sorry no burger. Fair enough ordered something else sorry not for that either. Asked is there anything you have got apparently everything else bar what I’d ordered. Common sense says tell people when you bring the menu out what you don’t have. I declined to order anything else. But on a plus side wife enjoyed hers. Maybe try again sometime when they been shopping in the shopping centre they are part of eh.

Met up with 5 friends here and we had the afternoon tea, what a lovely little place, fantastic food and staff, they could not do enough for us, re filling drinks, checking we were OK, we felt relaxed and not at all rushed, we ate our afternoon tea, relaxed, chatted and had a thoroughly lovely afternoon. We will be back here there is no doubt about that Thankyou so much

Rubbish customer service, expensive for the portion size my son had french toast he got one slice of toast a small rash of bacon and a spoonful of syrup with a strawberry and this was £5.99 wasn’t told the bacon was smoked and I really don’t like it asked for a refund when I realised and was refused all in all not a great experience emailed them but no reply my advice spend your money somewhere else.
