Family visit on 23/12 - booked in advance and confirmed that Meerkat meals could be used - had a variety of starters and mains with naan breads (best ive tasted) rice and chappatis, all food was tasty although the Korma's were a little almondy in taste - this aside the food was good and excellent value for money - combined with bringing your own alcohol this is really good value for money

Well we thought we would try somewhere new for a change wish we hadn’t bothered absolutely disgusting took nearly 2 hours to come, we phoned and was told it was on route 20 minutes later it arrived cold, so we had to put it in the microwave, it had no flavour we have had better from the local supermarket never again and expensive

Not been in the restaurant, but order takeaways often. Always spot it. May take up to an hour, but they do let you know how long it will be. Portions are quite large, good quality ingredients, my favourite is garlic chilli chicken, marvellous.

Visited restaurant on the spec, it was empty so no waiting required. Service was a little slow though and food was okay. Decor was nice. Felt the restaurant was promising but that the location required quicker service

Visited on a Thursday night without booking. Time of arrival was about p.m.. We were welcomed and shown to our choice of table and given menus. After a few minutes the waiter returned and took our order. We ordered 4 poppadums and pickles, tandoori chicken tikka, which came with boiled rice, and a chicken karahi, pilau rice and 2 chapattis. The total cost was just under £24.00. The wine was a lovely dry dark rose brewed locally. As the restaurant isn't licensed they offer free corkage, so the wine was from my own cellar. The poppadums were perfectly cooked, and a good size. No trace of cooking oil on them. The accompanying pickles were a thick creamy raita, a fruity pickle, diced onion in a red sauce, and a spicy spinach and chilli pickle, all in decent size pots - no scrimping here. We were left in peace to enjoy our starters, and then the mains arrived. My partner had the tandoori chicken, comprising the chicken, cooked excellently, with a dish of sauce and some boiled rice. She said the chicken fell apart, and the meal was very tasty, spicy, but not too hot. My chicken karahi was accompanied by pilau rice and two chapattis. The chapattis arrived and set the standard. Piping hot, good size, and thick (not as thick as a naan bread). The rice was well cooked, not clumping, and the chicken again was perfectly cooked, and fell apart when being cut. Again, the sauce was spicy and aromatic, not hot, but very tasty. I think this was the best meal I've ever had. Neither of us were able to clear our plates unless we made ourselves uncomfortable, so our leftovers were happily packed in a doggy bag. A point to note is payment is cash only at this time. The surroundings were clean and modern. Perhaps the lighting could be more subdued. There was also a poor lonely fish swimming in a tank near the counter. He might appreciate a couple of friends. OVERALL: Excellent food, excellent service. Great value. Well worth a visit.

This service was so poor! We went to open our fast all the way from Bradford! We thought it would be a good meal to open our fast with our 2 children but it was the worst experience! Wt a waste off time and money! The waiter was useless and laughing didn't take it seriously when we told the starter was under cooked he had said that's how we make it we serve 500 people and just take it home and eat we explained if we can't eat here how can we take it home! Before they bought out the curry they packed some off the food nd once the curry was out they asked if we wanted to take the home and eat it! Why would we take it home and eat if we went to eat in! Very poor service and never going again! Manchester nawaab is 100 times better

Arrived exponentially time by a nice delivery driver. I ordered a chicken tikka vindaloo and asked for it be cooked as a phall and extremely spicy - is had no heat at all, thankfully I had chillies in the house and added 12 of my own to make it hot. Lamb chops were OK, star of the show was the veg side dish which I almost didn’t bother ordering… not blown away but it wasn’t unpleasant

This place was for many years a Leeds institution. However, it's changed a lot. It no longer has a licence and part of it is called Dukes selling doughnuts to kids. It's curries are still very good.
