Ordered kebab was cold I took it back and they just heated it up again in microwave,meat was hard and not edible,manager was very rude avoid at all costs

If you’ve tried the likes of Dixy and PFC etc, you will love this place. Amazing chicken and donner as well. The naga kebab is 100% for those who like a bit of spice!

Hands down the worst takeaway we’ve ever had. Avoid eating here at all costs I'm doing you a favour. Took over an hour and a half to deliver 2 miles up the road. Rang twice and when they answered they couldn’t care less just made up a load of old rubbish. When the food finally turned up it was stone cold and soggy and tasted like it had been sat there all night. Shocking food, shocking service! -You can tell that to your boss! 👍🏻

If I could give 0 I would. We usually walk in and order and never had an issue except the chicken pieces can be quite spicy (not meant to be) First off within 30secs (after waiting for 45 mins when we live behind the shop) we noticed the chips were missing I called 3 times and no answer. The paper from the kebab was absolutely soaked with oil dripping, I ordered no sales and received a kebab full of lettuce and onion. The kebab meat was hard and over cooked. My partner's wrap was dripping with oil. The naan bread was dreadful and full of oil Please see pics 🤢 you can see where the oil has hardened Absolutely disgusting.

The food was barely warm and was quite lacking in quantity for what we paid.

I've ordered a few times now. The food is always good, hot, and quick.

I have had food from you many times before. Not sure if you just had a bad day or if you changed ownership recently but, tonight I have the worst wings I have ever had in my entire life. Drier than a mouthfull of sand, like they were cooked this morning and kept all day under the light. And that random chicken drumstick thrown in there was drier than the tree I cut up yesterday. I will get food from you again but please, next time do not send that kind of food to me. I would rather you just cancel or decline the order instead. That was just dreadfull.

When in to order burger & chips on a meal deal £7.50 said to the young guy in there plane half pounder with just a little onion and tomato sauce and salad and no cheese and no mayonnaise The first order I got was full of mayonnaise asked him to change it when I read exactly the same again just a little bit of onion just some tomato sauce no cheese no salad no anything and when I got it home there was cheese and a load of tomato sauce and it was cold and a small handful of chips I only live 3 minutes away walking if you go there check your order in the shop before taking it away I won’t be going there again .

For how long I waited for the food it wasn’t worth it

Decided to try this local chippy as the food from our usual supplier is always soggy. Was much quicker than expected, all fresh, hot, and the chips were crispy. I will definitely use them again.

Server had a cigarette in mouth and was SMOKING while putting mayonnaise in my sons kebab. He didn’t want to say anything and left it I wish I had been there 😡🤬

The chicken shish was terrible, 4 pieces of chicken for nearly £8, abysmal. The driver waited at the door for approx 30 seconds before leaving to get in his car or bike whatever he was driving and I had to shout out to get him back. All in all I shall not use Shepway grill again in the future!

Disgusting Food, chicken thighs stank to the point made us heave and nearly threw up, all the other food was thrown away tasted re-heated worst takeaway we have ever had.

1 hour late arriving. When we called to get an update, they had to call us back due to lack of conversational English. When someone did ring back, they said they would chase up the driver. We never got a call back with an update. The delivery driver seemed put out when he delivered, even though we did not mention how late it was.

Picked up the mixed grill, absolutely fantastic. Great portion size, perfectly cooked with lots of flavour - superb pots of varied sauces, very tasty. Well done lads.

Lamb donner was lovely but not a lot. And Chips weren’t cooked! Couldn’t eat any! Not impressed really. But service was good 😅

Ordered at 5:30 and food never arrived until 6:50. Several phone calls Driver admitted to having the food on board for 30 mins so I could see why it was cold we are less than a mile a long the road.The portion size was small and only 1 small salad to go between the 2 was mainly onion. Can't believe the 5 star google reviews as 99% of them relate to the Chinese that was there before the kebab shop. Won't use again and wouldn't recommend them either.

Small portion size for what was supposed to be a large kebab, looked smaller than a what I’d call a small kebab. Horrible too! ..Never again!

Chicken was dry inside, skin was soggy and very dark brown, probably been reheated a couple of times..never order that again.

I went in for a takeaway as I was craving a nice kebab. Googled it and found that Shepway Grill was rate 4.4/5 on Google. So went in there to find out it didn't look great at all. The food was below average (and that's me being kind) the salad was warm, and it wasn't on the kebab itself which I asked for. And couldn't even eat it and chucked it away. Tried to give the kebab a chance but ended up finding 2 small hair strands in the middle of kebab and that was discovered half way through eating the kebab. I'm starting to think that the reviews were fake and I won't be returning there again.

I think this is the shop I have been the most faithfull to. I usually try a different place everytime untill I find the right one. Well, I am still trying other shops here and there, but I always go back to this one. Keep up the good work

Order 2 'half pounders' as they are described on the website. Came with cheese again didnt click anywhere wanted cheese as it didn't describe cheese, called and asked for a new one as I'm allergic and was made to pay for a new one. Even tho no where on the menu did it say cheese or if I wanted to remove any cheese.

Food was cold and soggy, Chips not cooked properly. Can of Coke was warm. You would expect a cold drink from a Takeaway. On a positive the delivery time was quicker than first stated and the delivery driver was polite.

We ordered from this local takeaway as we hadn’t tried it before. We had one kids meal and one adult chicken meal. The order was ready in five minutes and was hot and well wrapped. The transaction when we picked the order up was efficient without being either too over friendly or rude. The food when we returned home was fine, order was correct and portion sizes of chips was plentiful. All in all not bad- will order again from here another time.

Never had an issue with the quality grub that is made here. Prawn crackers are awesome. This is our go to local takeaway. Gets 5* from me.
