Just got a takeaway from here very disappointed my prawn puree was swimming in oil😡 and tasted bland , my lamb in my biryani was very tough ,my son ordered a chicken tikka massala but it was just chunks of chicken and no sauce😡 normally there is no problems but my son said there was new people and didn't understand what he was saying ,when you spend £35 you expect your order to be correct will not be going there again for a while , will try the Mango Tree next time we decide to have a indian takeaway 😡😡😡😡

Good and warm food, friendly staff and owner and excellent service

Despite being only a takeaway restaurant, they generously made a place for us to eat our food as we were travelers. They gave us lots of food for the money that we paid. The owners are the nicest people in the world. Definitely come to this place

My Chicken Pasanda sauce had split and had a film of oil floating on top. The prawns were rubbery: overcooked and this too had a film of oil floating on the top. Not the best.

Very disappointed. The quality of the food was not good. Ordered the bhuna and dansak with pilau rice, both had very little flavour. Rice was soggy.

Once again a meal was missing. It then took an hour to receive the main meal option. It ruined the meal as we ate separately. Not much of a birthday celebration. It’s not the first time they have forgotten items but it is the last time we will order.

Was missing a dish , was told it would be 5 minutes and it was nearly half an hour ,this is now the second time it's happened Dissapointed

Ordered a Tandoori Mixed Grill with naan and butter chicken. The food was delivered a little late but it was understandable considering it being a rainy day and Maidstone traffic. The food was still very warm and really tasty. I would recommend the butter chicken especially to anyone that wants to try something at Maidstone Tandoori.

Food leaked into bag so badly that there was a pool of liquid in the bag which had coated all of the other items. Naans were all overcooked, tough and chewy. The chana masala was flavourless, as was the bombay aloo. Everything was oily. I could not recommend this restaurant. Very poor.

order was over an hour late, food was cold and absolutely disgusting and items missing.would not order again from Maidstone tandoori restaurant.not happy is a under statement....Angela.

I ordered food over 2 hours ago and it hasnt arrived. I have phoned the restaurant 3 times to be told the driver cant be contacted. I have no food and no hope of it turning up. Absolutely disgusting service!!! Will not be used again

Curries were excellent as usual (we’re regulars). Poppadoms stale unfortunately. Hopefully back to 5 stars and quicker delivery next time :)

Pretty disappointed, food was so late, 2 hrs 30 mins to be exact, chicken didn’t taste like fresh chicken, naan bread was hard and chewy, Bombay potatoes had rotten bits in, won’t be ordering again.

amazing food very thing was piping hot. the lamb was super tender you could cut it with a spoon definitely will be ordering from these guys again

Not the worst curry I’ve ever had but comparable to a microwave ready meal. Food was quite bland to be completely honest, onion bhajis probably the tastiest thing. As I said, not the worst, but far from the best. Delivery driver was very friendly

It was over 30 minutes late despite being pre-ordered several hours before. Upon arrival one of the curries had spilled out over everything. Everything was incredibly greasy and tough, I assume because of the delay in arrival. The poppadoms were greasy and not cooked properly so were inedible. The lamb byriani was flavourless and the meat pretty much just fat. Definitely not worth the £40 spend and certainly won’t buy from them again

Delivery was so late the food was cold. Restaurant said that this was due to an accident outside the restaurant but the driver told me they were the only one doing deliveries.

Great place if you want to experience Indian cuisine as close as possible to original taste from India. Everything we ordered was very tasty with unique flavour of mixed spices: turmeric, garlic, ginger & curry. Naan bread had a very nice profile flavour when eaten with different varieties of dishes. Portion sizes were good too. Prices seem fair for the quality. I do recommend.

Ordered at 7.30 and the food arrived 2 hours later. Numerous phone calls to the restaurant. Just kept getting told it will be there soon. Was also missing the chips from the order

Really nice best I’ve had in a long time

The order was late (it took 90 mins in total). I was not kept informed. The food arrived and had to be reheated. The food was quite nice in the end, but I’m not sure it was worth the wait. I’ll go elsewhere in the future.

Ordered at 17:42 Delivery time 18:30 Was text thst this was delayed and would arrive by 19:05. Called the restaurant at 19:20, they hung up on me twice. Food finally turned up at 19:35. Not impressed

Excellent portion size, flavour and tender chicken.

Just ordered from maidstone tandoori food was supposed to arrive at 6.10 so phoned up to see were my food is. The staff was rude and hung up the phone and was not answering my calls at all. When we finally got back through to them the staff was talking to my partner aggressively and was yelling down the phone. This is terrible customer service.

Great curry delivered right on time

Had a take away from Tandoori Maidstone at the beginning of their opening time -told it would be half hours -so we got the take away back home Mine was supposed to be a green chicken (faily hot) - I had chicken tikka pieces with a brown sauce - perhaps food put together as it was quite early but certainly not what I had been expecting, totally tasteless . I've rang them to tell me how unsatisfied I have been with the meal. There was nothing like a green masala, mint, coriander nor green chillies in that meal!! What a con! Why call the dish a green chicken when there was nothing green and certainly nothing spicy!!! Off putting

Excellent food, could do with a better menu, as unclear what you get unless a regular. ....MASSIVE DOWNSIDE.... Delivery with cash payment be aware. They he turned up apparently with little change and no notes. This means my £46.00 order now cost me £52.00. He only had £8.00 for my 3x £20.00 notes.

Food was delivered slightly late by a very pleasant man whose name I cannot remember. Food was good and the lamb meat was soft and without any fat which was excellent. The food was enjoyable and we will be exploring the menu further!

Absolutely abysmal. Takeaway order was nearly an hour late. Food cold, 2 sides missing, poppadom dips missing, mixed grill mostly chicken bones, tasteless and dry. Tried to speak to someone at restaurant but it was hopeless, they don't speak English so couldn't communicate with them to find our what was going on or complain. Pursuing refund via Just Eat/PayPal. If you order from here good luck to you, I'd rather open a tin of dog food.

Ordered for 7.30. At 7.45 is was marked as delivered. At 7.50 I called to check and was told it was on its way. Called again at 8.05, still on its way. Eventually arrived at 8.15. Two items missing. Two items stone cold. I won't be ordering from Maidstone Tandoori again.

Food took well over an hour to arrive. When it eventually did arrive, it was stone cold. Had to reheat everything to be able to eat it. Most of the dishes weren't cooked well either, layers of oil sat atop the curries, the poppadoms bended instead of breaking and the naan was tough and cold like the rest of it. Very disappointing, pay all this money looking forward to a nice meal and end up throwing most of it away. It's not on really. Stop accepting orders if you're unable to deliver food to an acceptable standard. Delivery driver was friendly at least.

Truly terrible, frozen samosa's and the tandoori chicken didn't have any flavor resembling tandoori chicken. Just plain bland chicken with red food coloring on. Wholly unauthentic, overpriced and bad.

Was told my order would be delivered at 8pm when ordered dinner for 7:06 at 8.20pm I called the restaurant because it said my food was delivered when it wasn’t I got told rudly to wait and will be with my shortly and then the delivery guy turned up at 8:48pm. when we got the food it was very cold and looked very poor quality will not be ordering from here again very poor service and delivery and food quality was very unsatisfied 1 star from me

we've been getting take away from here for as long as i can remember.

Usually perfect but ...one of the dishes was way hotter than expected, lamb saag was on the heat level of a jalfrezi. As we share, and trust this place, my Mrs doesn't do massive amounts of heat, so kind of spoiled the meal for her. I'm sure it won't happen again, as Usually the food is perfect, thanks

Not impressed with the portion size for what you pay, chicken was very hard and lots of onion to try and make it look like there was more food than what there was. Would not rush to order from here again. Quite disappointed to be honest if you pay your fair price. You would expect decent food and a reasonable amount of food. Delivery driver is nice and polite, but the food was lukewarm when it got here.

Was terrible my vindaloo tasted like it had been watered down to the point where it was basically tasteless and they gave me the wrong rice I can honestly say I will never go back again

Original delivery time was 16.40. I was then updated to 5pm with the message " Order delayed The restaurant needs a little more time. Then at 5.10pm it said awaiting update and at 5.15pm it was on its way finally arriving at 5.35pm

Takeaway with delivery. Over an hour after the quoted delivery time. Called 4 times and kept being told, "In 5 Minutes."

Food was lukewarm-cold rice all stuck together and dry! Mains dishes were very small potions and not very good quality or taste overall quite disappointed with whole order and service

My food was late even though it said it was delivered 45 minutes before and I paid for a ‘Ben and Jerrys cookie dough’ ice cream which cost £4.75 but they are giving out Aldi’s own brand cookie dough ice cream. To me that is false advertising, shouldn’t pay for something that you thought you was paying for but get a much cheaper version of it

Really appalling… ordered a meal for one (£16.95 according to their website) and when I went to pick it up he tried to charge me £19.95. I told the guy it should be £16.95 and he said, “sorry, it’s all changed”. I said “forget it” and he replied, “ok then £16.95”. I walked out and went to Mango Tree just 100m away. Set meal for 1 is £17.95. A quid more but I hate people trying to take advantage. I will not be going back to Maidstone Tandoori again

Fantastic tasting food. I had the lamb pathia and it was one of the best I’ve ever had! Keema rice and sundries went down incredibly - a definite order!

Asked for specific time for delivery and it was 45 minutes late, rang restaurant and they got the hump and shouted. THE FOOD WAS COLD WHEN EVENTUALLY GOT HERE, disgusting service, steer clear at all costs, what an abysmal restaurant!!!

Almost 2 hours late, said it was delivered 30 minuets before it arrived, understand it might be busy but no updates or anything, food was alittle cold but general okay. Would order again if i hadn’t have lost my appetite waiting so long
