Excellent Cafe Highly recommended. Great menu fantastic staff. Really well run right in the center of Stornoway.

4th May 2023 After leaving Hospital looking for somewhere to have Brunch, after having to be on a special diet then 24 hours fasting.We came across Shen’s Cafe an Oasis in the Dessert,Seems to be Stornoways only open Cafe. Highly recommended a visit, if you go once you'll be back! Fantastic cafe, great selection and very tasty! Owners have done excellent job of resurrecting old favourites and open to suggestions from customers. Staff friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Good full breakfast. Lovely since makeover. Good value for money.

Very friendly staff and owners with amazing food. Bringing back some nostalgia with old roll names. If you remember what was on it they'll make it for you! Personal favourite was the OneTel roll (chicken burger, BLT, and mayo). Give this cafe a visit and you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic local cafe, popped into get a quick breakfast and was very pleased with what I got! Definitely recommend to anyone searching for freshly made rolls :)

Excellent food, the lovely woman behind the till was very nice and accommodating. I wanted to compliment the owner but he wasn’t about so I hope he sees this as he and his wife have created an excellent wee cafe Stornoway has been needing for years.

The food is delicious and freshly made. They have a range of items for lunch and you can place orders ahead of time. However, every time we have ordered hot food, we have had to wait and the food has been cold. The longest time being 30 minutes. Once the business is more established, hopefully the wait time will improve and they invest in a hot food cabinet for orders. We will then visit more in the future.

I visit Shens cafe regularly and there is always very friendly staff with good meals every time I visit

We had a latte and a breakfast roll each. The latte was excellent and it was the best - not greasy- and tastiest roll I have had for a very long time. Very helpful staff member too.

Was in for breakfast with a friend and was great quality food, fast and friendly service and a fair price. Will be back again.

Lovely friendly staff who delivered a beautifully presented first class breakfast including: butchers bacon, sausages, Stornoway Black pudding, perfect egg and of course the obligatory beans/toast and a mug of tea.

I popped in for a quick bite to eat on my lunch and it was amazing - I had one of the Golden Oldies and it was even better than they used to be. I'll definatley be back!
