Visited for the first time recommended by my friend. we had the Sunday carvery followed by apple crumble. very impressed with the food. it's a bit like a transport cafe inside but it's the food that counts.

Been going here for years, never had a bad breakfast or dinner. Really good prices

Waited more than half an hour for food I wanted boiled potatoes but didn't have any so had chips food was luke warm however we had Waited for what seemed like ages so let it go..

This is a fabulous cafe. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Oh yes and the food is lovely too.

We popped in on spec with friends. There was a good range of breakfasts to suit most appetites, including vegetarian and vegan. The staff were lovely and friendly and the food was great.

Friendly staff and good food at really good prices. Outdoor and indoor seating. Big mugs of tea and portions are good.

There was a slight delay with our breakfasts, a slight mix up on the ordering procedure, but with a free drink and more time to chat while we waited it was no big deal . The food was fresh and filling . Will definitely go back there .

Owner not very welcoming or friendly. Waited 40 mins for food. Fish was undercooked. Disappointed. Won’t be back.

Can't comment on th3 food because we only had a cuppa. The menu looked OK and very reasonably priced. Not a classy place at all but great for a pit-Stop

Lovely place to have a ride out to. We had a tea and and coffee for under £3. Fantastic. The food smelt amazing but we didn't order this time.

Table was dirty when we sat down including the condiments box and window/windowsill. The high chairs were filthy and broken. The food wasn’t appealing and that tasty especially for the price. However the staff were nice but overall wouldn’t recommend.

Will definitely be back brilliant breakfast. But like sitting in a fridge 😂

Great Sunday lunch food and plenty of it, the only thing that spoiled it was cold plates and a cold room meaning you have to keep your coats on. Beet was well kept.

We had a family get together on Saturday and the Shed was brilliant. Fantastic food, reasonably priced and helpful friendly staff. The atmosphere was wonderful and several of the family enjoyed the experience so much, that they returned for breakfast the next day and this also received rave comments. I cannot thank the staff enough for making the event a great success, so much so that we are planning a return visit next year! In the meantime the family members who live locally will keep popping in to enjoy coffee and food in this wonderful place.

Was visiting family at a nearby caravan park and they took us here for Sunday lunch. The carvery was lovely, the staff serve you and plate up for you which I found so different but a really great idea, as normally at carvery 's when people help themselves it's not always a great experience if you follow someone with zero manners that try and get there money's worth. The meat that was put on my plate could have fed 2 of us and all the veg and trimmings were cooked to perfection! The staff were lovely and very welcoming. Would definitely return here and would recommend it to anyone.

Turn up at 10.15 on a Sunday morning to be told we stopped doing breakfast. Don't waste your time bothering going you will be disappointed. First and last time we will try them, they turned away at least 10 people while we were there.

Meals are lovely we have sat in ,and have cooked Sunday take aways , plenty of selection of vegetables ,usually have 3/4 Selections of meat , turkey, pork, beef ,meat is really tender ,take away meals aren’t all mushed up together , plus do gluten free which is an extra bonus as not a lot of places are gluten free 👍

All good but a bit cold in there

Came here with my partner on a rainy afternoon out. Lovely vibe, great decor. The food was fresh and very tastey. Great quality too and decently priced. Will definitely be back.

Dropped in for breakfast with quit a large group. Bit short of staff but dealt with the in rush in a calm and efficient manner. Very friendly, will go back.

We rang first to see if we could take our wee dog in they said fine but only in bar area, that was OK we were used to eating in bar areas. So off we popped. Once I'd negotiated the tricky doorway with my sister in her wheelchair, who was holding our dog, a lady descended on me to say we don't have dogs in here, you have to go to the bar quite frantic, I said I know I rang up. Before we entered the bar area we needed to use the rest room, compact n bijou for a wheelchair but we managed, then we were shown to the bar area, errrrrmmmm, I really do wish I'd taken a photo it was tired unkempt, floor needed a deep clean, I don't mind roughing it but it was very un cared for what really should have done was walk back out, my shed is cleaner, but alas luckily I had a couple of blankets with me iput one on the chair for me and one for my dog she wasn't going on the floor,. I sanitised the table with wipes I had. We ordered a breakfast n a cuppa, we ate it quite swiftly and promptly left never to return, I understand no dogs in carpet areas but we could have sat on tiled area, no food should be served in the bar area, complete with water stains on the ceiling , where the Outlook out of sliding glass doors is a dumping ground for rubbish from what, could see, and the whole time we sat they were in out getting stock. The only plus note if the food was actually nice. They definitely need to rethink on appearance!!!!!

Food good, service disappointing, welcome, not very good. Could be a great place but attitude of owners/staff etc. is disappointing and customer service is lacking.

Absolutely fantastic. The breakfasts are always freshly cooked and very tasty. The staff are friendly and professional. Would thoroughly recommend if you enjoy a hearty breakfast.

Went for the car boot, and as a treat after we decided to have breakfast. Staff attentive and food was very good. The only let down is cheap tomoto ketchup.... Needs addressing as it let's down the good produce they serve.

A very friendly establishment , good food and realistic prices. Plenty of space inside and outside, and parking is free and spacious, camping available which is great as there's a bar aswell.

Carvery is perfect. Breakfast as good as it gets. Always plenty of room. It's quite big. A nice drinks bar too.if you ask they will adjust to your requirements.

Not quite so good a variety of service of food options for Sunday dinner, being co vid an run up to X mass . Hence remember going there regular four years ago, with friends ,then I would rate it five star. Now I go to places on my own for dining out. Sunday Calvary is good large , adult an child portion's ,it looked busy an started to serve from 1pm ,with takeout options available. A group visit strongly recommend to book in advance. Enjoy.

Tidy enough but today even though they were short staffed I still they thought they could of been a bit quicker and seemed abit deaf when asked for other drinks. Meals fine.

The girls were fab who were waitresses the lady who seemed to be in charge most definitely had the day off when all the other staff attended the customer service training course, never seen somebody so miserable in their work!

First time here after coming out of lockdown, breakfast was great and I hear that they are planning to build an outdoor pizza oven, bbq and playground. Hopefully it will be ready for warm summer evenings. Friendly people working here an a nice little farm shop too.

We had xmas dinner here today. It was plentiful, tasty and worth the money. We are full of delicious food and drinks. Staff are helpful and friendly. Worth going to.

Spotless, friendly and great food .

We've just had breakfasts delivered to our door. They arrived quickly in good sized containers. They were still hot and delicious, of course! Well worth an order during Lockdown 2.0 and no washing up!

Love the breakfast. Good place to sit at a clean roomy table. Good service. Been a few times now. 5 stars reserved for outstanding everything where you'd be on holiday/day out somewhere expensive/historical and worth the extra.

Lovely staff and food. Took a while for meals to come (noticed while eating that only 2 meals seem to be being done at a time, strangely) I was surprised when my steak and ale pie, mash and peas came with no gravy! But all in all was scrummy and the waitress lady was really great. Oh and WOW the apple granny was amazing, and had lots of custard :-D 4½ * (but cant ½ *)
