Been going there for years. Great food. Excellent service

We visited for the first time this afternoon as a party of 7 and from start to finish we had a really lovely experience here, the staff are so lovely and attentive and the little doggy stole the show for us he was an absolute beauty, the food was simply wonderful and plentiful and came out lovely and hot. The children’s menu I thought was also very good with a really nice option range everything was 10/10, we shall definitely be returning

The only let down was the lack of attention of the staff working today. Had to ask to place our order. No table check carried out and nor were we asked if we wanted more drinks, which we did. Ordered extra drinks which took over 15 minutes despite there being 3 waiting staff stood behind the counter doing nothing. They finally arrived with just one of the two drinks we had ordered as they’d forgotten one! It wouldn’t put me off going again as the food was delicious, however, I would just order at the till if you want timely service.

Brilliant traditional pub. And dog-friendly too! Great ales and atmosphere. John is an absolute legend. Thanks for all the great beer and pork scratchings. See you again soon!

First time visiting here. Staff are very hospitable and friendly and the food is amazing. Would definitely recommend Big Bite to everyone.
