Excellent quality food. Delicious.

Food trays half full, chicken looked like it had been dragged through a hedge backwards, sauce very watery and bland. Saggaloo tasted like a green tea bag, peshwari naan bread was plain

Estimated delivery time was much later than indicated once the order was accepted and even then we had to chase it with a phone call and it was delivered later than that. Food was cold when it arrived and was missing an item, however they did deliver the missing item plus a free popadum following a phone call. It’s a shame as the food was really tasty but considering the lateness/coldness/missing item we probably wouldn’t order again.

If you want to wait 2 and a half hours for stone cold food Sheba is the place for you! Terrible terrible service and food won’t be using ever again!

Who is reviewing this place Ordered on a friends recommendation Whitley is full of great curry places and this is NOT one of them 90 minutes to be delivered a madras that was like water with no taste whatsoever I have made better at home ,do yourself a favour and use shahaenshah or shampan where they can actually cook a curry . Normally have such lovely food I don’t know what’s changed . Madras was super sour and cold . Tikka had a salad of only onion . Very disappointing.

You can usually rely on consistent quality from Sheba but my meal tonight was just plain awful. I ordered Rogan and received Bhuna, at least that's what I think it was. There was no delicious layer of tomato, in fact there was no delicious anything. I've had much better curry out of a jar.

Where to start. Naan bread cold and Rock hard. Rice, cold. Dhansak was cold, container was barely half full, only had 3 or 4 small pieces of chicken and sauce was watery with a thick layer of oil on the top. Whole lot went in the bin.

Very disappointed with the Tandoori Chicken main course which came as little more than two meagre chicken legs. You would have been unhappy with each of these if you had ordered them as a starter.

Food tasted lovely, no complaints there. However the portion size of the chips was tiny, there would have been enough to feed my 7 year old alone. Usually one portion of chips would be enough for myself, my partner and my son to share but not this time.

Spent over 40pound and the food came cold and I think they had ran out of meat as the chicken in the meals was next to none existent. I would not recommend ordering chips as you only get a handful, and as for the containers with the meals in them all open and spilling out the sides of the container. 4 of us orded food and none of us will be re ordering from here

Chicken tikka masalla was bland, chips were soggy and greasy, rice was clumped together, poppadom was chewy. Onion bahji and peshwari nan nice. Just moved to area and first time using, won’t use again. General flavor of all food wasn’t great.

Fantastic family run takeaway. The food is superb. We normally have tandoori mixed kebab starter and I can honestly say I’ve never had a tastier starter. The flavours tantalise your taste buds and leave a fabulous after taste. All of the main meals we have ever had have always been outstanding. My favourite one is chicken garlic spicy. This meal abounds with flavour and truly satisfies your pallet. We normally have chicken based meals as the chicken is so succulent and you always get plenty.

Absolutely amazing taste, with all the flavours from the potato curry and the Tarka Daal exploding leaving me wanting more.

Food is always unreal and always tastes unreal! So reasonably priced and will always be my Indian takeaway of choice! However I’m soo sad to have to say that I was so disappointed with the spicy chicken tikka starter which I got for the first time to try instead of my usual seekh kebab. There was only 3 small pieces of chicken and one of those was really thin. Didn’t seem to be worth the £4 it cost. Can’t fault the taste of any of the food though or the usual standards!

Food was amazing as always. One of my curries was missing but this was immediately resolved and sent out to me before I’d even plated up the rest. Highly recommend and wouldn’t get Indian food from anywhere else!

Just ordered a chicken buryani to take away for the first time. Got home to find the entire meal had 2 tiny pieces of chicken in it, it was essentially a plate of rice with sauce. Very disappointing as the taste was nice, just had next to zero meat. Not sure if the chef just forgot to put chicken in or whether this is the norm. For future meals, I'll be going to back to Ellachi where they serve lots of nice chicken.

I’ve known about this takeaway for many years and yet I’ve only started ordering from here, my mistake, I wish I’d started ordering from here many years ago. The food is delicious, the service is fantastic. Always on time , alway piping hot and always excellent. Thank you for some wonderful dishes and we are looking forward to many more.

Very tasty food though a bit cold by the time we got it. This was a new years eve order so can be forgiven for being late but we had to keep ringing the restaurant to find out when it would arrive. Was promised after 20 mins...eventually arrived 1 hour 40 mins late and 2 hours 40 mins after being ordered 😬

Have been buying from the Sheba for 30+ years. It is the best Indian takeaway I have experienced anywhere. Family run, always has top food hygiene rating, great food and now they deliver. Never had disappointing food from them in all that time. Great place.

The depth of flavour you get from Sheba is it's star attribute. We as a family have eaten Indian food from many places, we rate it from 1-9. If it's a 10 we just say it's as good as Sheba, but that's rare. Just go find out for yourself, enjoy.

Overall this was a good place to eat, but be aware of the offers at the door and what is subsequently offered in the restaurant.

This is without a doubt the best Indian take Away in the North East and now they deliver :) I can not recommend it highly enough

Yo vivía a la vuelta de la esquina durante 25 años hasta hace 3 años y solía ir prácticamente a la semana. Ahora no tan a menudo, y les duele! No puedo recomendar lo suficiente, las patatas fritas de ajo son divinas. Tiene que ser visitado, no te arrepentirás.

Been there for years and we still go back to it because it is GOOD. Mixed kebab/lamb dupiaza are firm favourites. They still give you an after eight mint as a treat for after your curry.....brill!

No puedo creer que este lugar ha sido premiado tanto la recomendación.No he visitado en años y ahora sé por qué.Al principio me pidió cordero y me informaron, tendría que conformarse con pollo. Me gusta el pollo y yo tenía hambre, así que no hay grandes desastres...??Sin embargo, fue,..La carne de pollo habían sido pre-asado entero, y luego triturados, para luego ser climatizada hasta el fin. Por lo tanto, el sabor de el pollo y la salsa no transmitir a la otra y que, básicamente, sabían como sobras, desde la cena del domingo, calentarse en un tarro de salsa preparada.La salsa en sí era demasiado salada y la izquierda bastante sin sabor.El arroz estaba aguado, daba y los guisantes eran de lata, las grasas de la médula.Recomendaría evitar y elegir uno de Whitley Bay, muchos, más bien establecido, restaurantes indios o tomar siempre.

We have always had a good takeaway from here. Lovely family, good service and reasonable prices. Ring and order or call in and have a drink at the Rockcliffe round the corner while you're waiting.

The best takeaway in the area . good value, big portions, fresh and tasty. They are closed on Tuesday but open every other day. I have been going there for 30 years and never had a bad curry
