Nice staff and atmosphere, but food was disappointingly bland

We went nice and early for a first table dinner. We ordered onion bhaji and poppadom to start and the chicken tikka masala and a lamb curry dish with 1 rice and 1 naan. Food was delicious, although I’d try a different chicken curry next time. Exceptional service and a vibrant atmosphere!

Sheba is hands down the best Indian restaurant I’ve been to in London. The food was outstanding. We had vegetarian meals, lamb, chicken and vegan meals with the most delicious sauces. There was something for everyone cooked perfectly to each person’s taste, mild, medium or hot. Our meals and the service could not have been better. The staff catered to a large group of 10, ranging from ages 2-83, including a two year old boy and a six year old boy. Everyone was happy.

This is an absolutely must stop food place! It is hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Everything was out of this world. Everything on the menu is absolutely beautiful and tasty 😋 sevice was on point and very welcoming team. Thank you for a beautiful evening ✨️

Sheba is located on Brick Lane, and the food is fantastic . We ordered lamb somomas to start, they were a bit peppery but delicious. The plate comes with lettuce and a delicious sauce. For our main we ordered lamb and spinach, lentils and pumpkin, Palau rice and coconut nan. All of which was delicious. Would definitely visit again!

I personally will not be going back to this restaurant again. We had an 8pm reservation for 2 and were not seated to eat until 9pm. One particular staff member was VERY rude when I tried to explain that we had a 8pm reservation (older guy with white hair), yet they were bringing in people with later reservations before us. He even put his hand in my face at one point and shooed me away like a dog... The atmosphere of the restaurant was also horrible. Full of so many loud, drunk people you can't even hear yourself think. The food was good, but overall due to the chaos and ridiculous waiting time despite having a reservation, I would not recommend this restaurant. They clearly carelessly accept reservations and do not think about how they can realistically accommodate this. Ps. Only near decent thing about this place is that the wait staff were nice. I felt sorry for them because they had to work in a manic environment like that. They need a raise because they are strong

Waited 50 min for table but got a free round of beers, 25% off the bill and a free round of baby guinness. All in all a fair settlement - everyone walked away happy.

Food overrated if you know a really good curry. Service very rushed as though it is all about turning tables. Atmosphere rated higher as patrons in the Christmas spirit. On positive side was nice touches- wiping plates and cutlery in front of you and the heated hand wipes at end.

This was one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to! My partner and I had the best lamb shank and naan we’ve ever had, and it was great value for what we ordered. Rash was our waiter and attended us with great care, we’ll definitely visit again whenever we’re back in London!
