This venue is great to work with and to attend events. The staff and security are polite and lovely and the events are inclusive and disability friendly. I love this venue and will always support such a great place!

We discovered this brilliant Cafe / Bar on our recent trip to Leeds. What a fantastic discovery and we would highly recommend it if you are in the area. We only had coffee in the mornings on our way into the city and 2 pints of Lager and a packet of crisps in the evenings but what a great place. The staff were all extremely friendly and pleasant and it was great to see "Young people" (we are both over 60) thriving and being such a credit to humanity. We will definitely return when next visiting Leeds, thanks for making us feel so welcome.

We are regular visitors to Sheaf St, pre-corona and now. Basically, what a fantastic takeaway this now is. My faves are the burger which is beyond sublime, along with the Jurassic Park sized chicken wings. My far better half, Joanne, has cravings for their veggie breakfast and cauliflower wings. Great food and smashing service from the team who, let's face it, must find it difficult to interact through the tailor made serving hatch, not that you'd ever know it! See you soon, I've no doubt. 5 * * * * *

This is somewhere we have kept saying we must try, usually whilst driving by on the way in to Leeds. So glad that today we did. Delicious food, avacado, pesto and halloumi on sourdough is now my new favourite thing. The staff are friendly and engaging, and there was scrupulous attention to sanitising, wiping down and all things social distancing. And a double tip on our next visit - sorry again....

I've just returned from having a lovely brunch at Sheaf St. After 4 months of enforced closure due to Covid-19, Sheaf have come back with a vengeance. Both my better half's and my breakfasts were superb. I had the full breakfast and Jo's was the vegetarian, which fulfilled her craving for avocado and halloumi. She also raved about the Darkwood coffee she was served, excellent all round. Lots of space between tables, easy to check in and lots of sanitizing stations too. There's not much else I can add other than this will definitely be a regular haunt from now on.

This was a complete joke on our visit , the time spent waiting for 2 small sandwiches was unbelievable , it's like going in to a time warp , you come out older , with facial hair growth , longer nails, closer to your pension . I could of made them in to 3 mins, any way when they arrived they were ok nothing special, for the price paid , I also got a long blonde hair under one of my sandwiches Nice.. Just before we left another guy was complaining about hair in his eggs , so I obviously pointed out my unwanted visitor on my plate , they said nothing no apology ? . My advice here is keep away unless you have all day to waste .

Sheaf St. is a must go if you're ever in Leeds! The staff are incredibly friendly and the vibe is super cool with a range of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu which are all reasonably priced. Me and a friend met for lunch and we're both really happy with our orders - I went for the vegetable fritters with added mushrooms and my friend had the Sheaf St. Breakfast which I'm definitely going to get next time.

Attended the Print Fair this weekend. Thought I'd grab a coffee whilst I browsed the stalls. Queued up, ordered and paid for a flat white. The staff working behind the counter said it would be a few mins and that they would come and find me and drop the coffee off. 30 mins later and I was ready to leave the Print Fair, still no coffee. I had to go back and ask again for my coffee. I was told it was on its way, 5 mins later it finally showed up. Coffee was good but the service was a real let down.

Myself and my husband have been to Sheaf twice this weekend, we can't get enough of the food here and the relaxed atmosphere. The environment itself is lovely, lots of wood and greenery, great music and lots of board games to play with friends. On our first visit we enjoyed beetroot and roasted tomato soup and a leek and romesco sandwich, served with the most delicious root veg salad. On our second visit my husband had a veg frittata and I had an artichoke and hummus sandwich, which tasted incredible. I wouldn't have necessarily put any of those flavour combinations together, but with the chef's dressings and salads, they worked beautifully. The choices could be regarded as limited to some and change daily, but you can see that the chefs are using seasonal ingredients wisely and minimising potential waste. There are meat options for those who want this, but the menu is largely vegan or vegetarian, which is great! The location is out of town (a 10 minute walk perhaps) but we've discovered you can park outside Sheaf St for a fraction of the price in town (less than £5 to park all day), have lunch in the cafeteria and walk into town and do some shopping. I've been a vegan for almost a year and can't think why I haven't been spending more time here. Its a must for vegans and others who enjoy great seasonal tasty food. Can't wait to see what the owners do at their new venture, Eat Your Greens!

Ordered a ‘sausage and brown sauce sandwich’. Received - cold sausage (not gone cold but actually served cold) and what looked like red cabbage in hard bread (could not even bite through the crust). When questioned about it - ie why is it cold and where was the brown sauce, the waitress could not have been ruder. Another member of staff offered to ‘put it in the microwave’! Left it after the initial bite. Pretentious little place. Leeds is absolutely brimming with amazing eateries - this is not one of them!

Visited he friday evening whilst at big disco, as first impressions go im really dissapointed. When we first went to bar for a drink we were told they were not serving yet, although the bar was full. We returned at 7pm and was asked by a barman what we was drinking when we told him he picked up 2 cups then put them down and stormed off, we was asked again he told us they had no beer left and walked away the third person to ask us just took 3 bottles out of fridge and poured them into a glass, there was 7 staff behind that bar and 2 beer pumps...? I hope these staff weren't regular staff because there behaviour was pathetic and it wasn't particularly busy, I've been looking forward to visiting this venue for so long. Its been done out well and could easily find itself in a large cosmopolitan city anywhere in the world. Coffee is also good so why have I marked them down. They make nice vegetarian meals and they are truly good but the quantity is not generous.Aa small piece of sourdough, one egg, avocado and sprinkling of cheese for £7...that's actually not on!
