Very amazing and delicious food

One off the best shawarma places I visited fresh and yummy food chicken shawarma my favourite along with chips and drink highly recommended to all 👌

Verry good food and tasty souces

Vile and filthy. This place has really gone downhill. My wife and I ordered the "platter" (£12 approx) and were presented with microwaved rice and about 6 1cm³ pieces of mystery chicken. The man behind the counter was unfriendly and kept disappearing into the rear kitchen - to collect his microwaved morsels. We left before eating as the place looked deeply unsavoury. Avoid.

Chicken shawarma was really bad and smell like fish. Had to throw it away. Service not great at all! I don’t think so I will be visiting this place ever again.

Food portions are good. It’s not like the shawerma back home but that would do . It’s a small store with limited seating so better takeaway . It’s right next to Smokey’s for burgers and shakes.

The food itself is okay but the staff’s attitude is a PROBLEM. I used to be a loyal customer here but everything changed since some rude people started taking shifts at this place. Long food-waiting time, bad service attitude. The card machine definitely malfunctioned while the staff blamed it on customer saying it was the card’s problem after me trying all my cards to tap on. Best advice to the manager, change your current staff. You are welcome

The whole thing was dead 💀☠️😵 Nasty cheap whole chicken and kebabs, was served cold food with flys 🪰 on the salads and at then end coughed all over the wrap before closing it, I had to ditch it

Close your eyes. Think of any object - a chair, table, fork, laptop. Imagine what would it be like to taste these objects. Tastes bad right? Well, open your eyes. I can guarantee you that these objects taste significantly better than the shawarma that you get here. Now I have had shawarma in a lot of places around the world and don't obviosuly expect that level of quality here. But come on, it was bland, uncooked, and looked disgusting. I had to eat it because I was guilty of spending 7.5 quid on this. 7.5!!! Please avoid this place if you want to your memory of what a good shawarma should taste like to remain intact.

It's located opp.of Charlie, at the corner of portwood avenue. This is very much famous for its shawarma in portwood and Southampton area, price is reasonable, you can dine in or take away. Although the place is looks like a part of Smokey's burger but didn't know it's a part it. The food is amazing, burgers are very delicious. Taste is best in some of the items in menu. I have attached photos of menu for quick access. If you like it plz thumbs up 👍 Enjoy your food.. happy foodies:)

Despite food is good....there are a couple of rude people working there which ruins your meal if you eat in....

Poor quality food. We ordered chicken shawarma and shawarma plate last Friday evening. Our health was terribly affected and vomiting, diarrhoea continued for 2 days. We informed their staff whose response was very poor. I will never recommend anyone for their food.

Second time that I get severe diarrhoea after eating their shawarma. Never again.

The food's pretty cheap but the chicken shawarma doesn't taste that great compared to the shawarma's I've had before.

Ordered here didn't even get my order was scammed out of 20 quid ordered through Uber eats and my order never came despite calling them multiple times didn't get a call back never order from here this is a warning to all will be trying to get a refund although Uber eats isn't really making it easy on that front NEVER ORDER FROM HERE!!!!

As a repeat customer I would say one of the best shawarma place in Southampton.. friendly staffs and fast service.. price reasonable compared to others.

Saw offer of buy one and get one, ordered and rcvd only one shawarma , full of potato chips only and few pieces of chicken . Taste was below average. Suggest not to buy from this restaurant. Portion of food is not justified by it’s price.

Chicken shawarma wrap contains chicken bones. Wrap full of oil which make eating the wrap disgusting

The chicken shawarma was actually really good however Uber messed up and 4 drivers went to collect yet didn’t until the last driver therefore took over an hour to arrive and then chips were stone cold. Unfortunately the store must have taken the phone off the hook. Such a shame but world try the food again just not using Uber Eats. Also the deal was BOGOF but cost £23 for 2 meal deals…..??

Ordered and order came but missing items, items that did arrive were stone cold, almost soggy because of how cold it was. Phoned restaurant and spoke to a one person and he was rude. Definitely won't ever use and will pass the message on to people not to use this place. Word of mouth, you gotta love it

Ordered via Uber Eats. Chicken Shawarma was dry. The food itself had very little flavour with almost no veg or sauce. Mostly air pockets and dry chicken. Not much difference between regular or large sized wraps. Won't be coming back. Update: thought we'd give them a second chance. No salad at all with our kebab. Also missing the sauce. Just dry and salad less. The meat was nice though. Will try ordering with a side salad next time it's on offer. Over priced as is though.

Honestly one of the best shawarma I’ve had. Flavoursome chicken, rich sauces and fresh salad. Fantastic customer service as the dude working let us try the peppers and potato side dish. Will definitely be coming back 👍

My first order here from Deliveroo. I’m really disappointed I ordered the meal deal the lamb wrap with chips and Fanta and didn’t receive my chips or Fanta. My husband had the mixed Shawarma with chips and asked for no sauce and they put garlic Mayo on his food. The food arrived really cold the meat was burnt and very tough I’ve tried to call you to say about this but can’t get hold of anyone on the phone. The line keeps saying busy. Not good service or food at all. Won’t use again. Want my refund for my chips and Fanta

Ordered large lamb shawarma from there last night and it tasted amazing. Last time I had good shawarma was on Edgeware Road 20yrs back. Staff was very friendly also. Would definitely recommend

Hands down best kebab shop in Southampton. Fresh and authentic, thumbs up to these guys. Finally a proper place to go to in Southampton. No longer have to make the long trips to london to get good food.

It's good food, shame they don't look at the receipt. Clearly stated no salad no sauce. This was on the receipt when delivery was made. But still all salad and sauces added. It's basics really disappointing if you can't get that right. As the food is nice.

Food took 90 minutes to deliver The kofta and chips were cold. They forgot the chips.

Uber Eats failed to deliver half of my order. I went in person to have it sorted. Friendly staff prepared my food again. Good portion sizes, good quality and great value for money. Only wish Uber Eats got it right first time.

Very delicious Mediterranean food. Very kind and welcoming staff. I tried both chicken and meat shawarma, they were delicious and I wouldn’t hesitate to try them again.

Shawarma Express - Portswood. Nice & new, place was busy, seating arrangement is poorly organised so queuing system needs much improvement. no menu up on display & a very limited number of menus to view from to order. food took about 20 mins to come out, and it was worth the wait really fabulous. parking is a nightmare though. four stars for this visit.
