Pizza Hut Delivery in Southampton

Food arrived late and cold… only giving an extra star as an extra dip was provided.

i have always ordered from this pizza hut as they’ve never left me disappointed! The food was freshly made and ready as soon as i got there and the timings matched up to what it said when i ordered, very friendly service and the place was very clean. i’m very satisfied with the food, service and atmosphere, highly recommend!

We ordered the pizza 2 hours in advance, and when we arrived, it was freshly made spot-on. The service was kind! We would definitely order here again. :)

Never had a problem when ordering from here before until today, food was booked to arrive between 18:30 and 18:50 before being pushed back to 19:15 which was only after I’d queried the delay. Food still did not arrive until 19:50 at which point it was cold. Staff on phone told me driver couldn’t get to my road due to a “blockage” there are no road works at all on my road currently and I live very close to the restaurant so confusing it took him so long to reach me, very disappointed.

Don't really understand the bad reviews here - review just below shows photos of a normal cooked pizza, are they expecting a chargrilled mess? Anyway, ordered pizza today from here as usual. I always order outside peak hours and get it within 20-30 mins. Quality is top notch and they even gave me a free salad randomly. Thanks

put as delivered when not even delivered and when called up to ask was rude and not helpful at all when I called him the delivery driver turned up boss on the phone but the guy at the shop said he was on the phone to him and he said he's be there in four to five minutes so clearly had lied about calling him it was all cold

this order went past the delivery time slot given so had to contact and chase. the food arrived cold and the tub of ice cream delivered was incorrect one

ordered food @21:00 last night on 13th june2024 and they did not turn up till 00:30am on 14th june 2024 and half my order was missing along with cold food it is the worse service ever should have ordered from Domino Pizza at least they dont RIP People off im disgusted with pizza huts services and food

Terrible. Wrong toppings provided. When I contacted the shop about it I was totally dismissed and told that the person who answered the phone had cut my pizza and therefore I must be wrong.

Pizza was cold garlic bread was burnt and forgot the drink also the deliver time tracker was not working

I had made a mistake by purchasing a pizza for collection and not delivery as i am unwell and was not able to collect. I explained this to the man that picked up the phone and he offered delivery free of charge. Lovely service, this place will always be my go-to!

We regularly collect our Saturday night treat from here. The food is always good, hot and ready when we go to collect. Staff are friendly and chatty. Never had an issue here and will continue to use! :) Hard to rate atmosphere as it is just a takeaway shop, but it is clean!

Soggy nasty pizza, and the half and half had the toppings all over the place. When I called I was told its not a valid complaint because the soggy pizza is normal for pan (even though I've had pan pizza from other huts for years with no problem) and the toppings on the half and half that were mixed all over the pizza apparently is also normal because the oven blows the toppings around ( yet again never had a problem before using other branches or in fact any other pizza companies. I've never heard so much nonsense and the guy on the phone informed me he was the manager and he knows what he's talking about. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I was then told that there's nothing he can do about it. I won't ever use that branch again.

Delivery driver was useless, he left my food outside in the cold for 30 minutes and didn’t even think about ringing me to say that my food is here.

So, it's good to see pizza hut offering gluten free pizza that tastes good. What's not good is calling what is clearly a small a medium. Just because you make it rectangular doesn't mean people won't notice its really a small. Disappointed, at least with papa John's a medium is a medium!

Good food service was a little slow but wasn't an issue.

Ordered on line and booked for 20:00, when confirmation email came through it said ready in 17 minutes. Phoned to try sort out and the staff member hung up phone, when we got to store we tried to discuss but the manager was rude and was NOT willing to compromise for a solution. I will NEVER again order from this hut ever again. The manager was very rude, customer service was no where in sight and absolutely no attempt to resolve!

I have had so many bad experiences when ordering from this place in just the space of a few months… I had ordered a couple of standard pizza’s and a side, they completely mucked up the order, never gave a sincere apology or reason. A few weeks prior to that I had ordered for me and my family and the food had came 40 minutes late. Now this is the final straw where I feel the need to write a bad review, I have just placed an order from Pizza Hut Bitterne and they have sent an email saying my order has been cancelled yet £20.78 has been taken out of my bank account? I called back in hopes that an employee would help me to understand what has happened but when I had explained what had happened I received a aggravated attitude from the member of staff. Long story short I didn’t get my money or pizza…

Never order from here again got order wrong then had to wait over hour for the rest

Do not waste your time or money ordering from here. Order was incorrect and unfortunately as ordered via Deliveroo, we were unable to get a refund as we did not accept the order and couldn’t prove it was wrong with photographs. The branch wouldn’t take photographs of the order for us so we paid money for nothing. We didn’t take the order in as assumed it was somebody else’s! Wish we had looked at the reviews beforehand and saved our money!!

Can't order online, says Postcode is invalid. It's not, I have lived here for years and never have any problems on rival takeaway online sites.

Ordered 2 pizzas and 2 sides. They sent the wrong pizza for one and the other was a medium instead of large. The sides were also awful, the chicken strips were tiny and there was a handful of wedges in a box. On top of this all of the food was cold. After this they offered 15 slices as 'good will' instead of the refund I asked for. The slices they offered were supposedly enough for 2 large pizzas but in order to use them you have to spend £8 or more for one pizza and then do another order at the same price for the other. Clearly not a suitable replacement for a refund.

Ordered from here through their website no problem. However when the food arrived they had forgotten 1 item from the order and so I then had to call up the restaurant and get it reordered. When the missing side finally arrived, about 20 minutes later, it was really cold and horrible. The pizza itself was really tasty and was fairly generous with their toppings too.

I feel like I just got ripped off. Thick doughy pizza, no thin crust option, medium is small, filling only starts 5cm in and not allot of it. 18 quid. Could have bought 18 pizzas from Lidl that would have tasted better. No cheese. Not good at all and not sure it’s the authentic Pizza Hut. Never again.

Apparently completely unaware of the rules given out to customers collecting orders as they were very rude on the phone when we called to say we were here in the car park. Unbelievable that they aren’t aware of their own policy to protect themselves and customers from covid. Or just choose to ignore it.

Well I can’t believe it….I’m totally shocked to experience what I just have. I believed I was in the phone to Domino’s but I was actually on the phone to “Ahmed” at Pizza Hut in bittern!!. I am not well at the moment and didn’t realise I called the wrong number… not once did Ahmed correct me I asked is this Domino’s or did he correct me when I said I have a blue card discount for Dominos!!. The pizzas that I received were absolutely disgusting and when I called to complain I got I was a “liar Ma’am”…..I am totally disgusted

the pizza was a bit undercooked, I usually go to the Unit 23, Locks Heath Shopping Centre, Lock Heath, Park Gate, Southampton SO31 6DX pizza hut and they are always well done so a bit disappointing I will stick to the locks heath branch in future

There were instructions for collection in my order confirmation which I followed. When I rang the restaurant upon arrival to say I was there and to bring my order out, the staff member was rude, just told me to come in then hung up. So I walk in, all the staff is just standing around chatting in the back, nobody even greets me (despite being fully aware I was there). Eventually one member of staff asks what I want, then proceeds to tell me they have no order under my name… even though they barely seemed to have any orders to not exactly overrun and easy to miss orders. They then found my pizzas and they were fine. But will definitely not be ordering from here again

We order pizza about once a month using the mobile app and it always comes from the guys in Bitterne. Service is great, very prompt, we've never had to wait more than about 30 minutes. I even got a phone call apologising they'd run out of olives once! I always leave a good tip for the drivers. Thanks for serving us food through the COVID lockdowns.

Food got ordered to parents address (my fault) called to sort out issues. Spoke to manager, very helpful sent out new pizzas with free icecream, Was not expecting that! Very happy.

My garlic pizza bread thing was burnt. The pizza wasn’t that great either. Okie the delivery driver didn’t bring it to my door, I had to collect from bottom of the block even though my kids were at home.

First time getting food from Pizza Hut wouldn’t order again the pizza was not hot the cheese triangles were burnt but the chicken wings were decent. Doesn’t beat dominos sorry Pizza Hut.

The service was excellent and the pizza was the best I've had in a long time. I had to go and collect as they don't deliver to our house, but that was fine. Such good service in the shop.
