McDonald's in Southampton

Fast service & food hot with plenty of chicken in my wrap.. Very pleases

I ordered a McFlurry & a drink from the Millbrook branch, the service & food/drink were both great! The restaurant was clean too, & I decided to sit in a window booth so I could watch the world go by... Imagine my dismay then when I saw a member of staff walking towards an outside table & spitting before he got there! UGH! Not a nice thing to witness when your'e eating/drinking yourself... He then sat on the table(where people are going to eat) & spat a few more times!!! In the end I had to stop myself from looking outside as I found it VERY off-putting.

Always fresh food, no complaints..

There is a mosquito infestation which doesn't look very higenic

Hello, I'm giving a super low rating because despite ordering a burger via Deliveroo, on two occasion in the last two months, you have missed a triple cheese burger in our order (on both occasions) and the sauces (on both occasions). It's a small thing buy it makes you think is someone just taking it and eating it? It's the same thing on multiple occasions and it needs to be sorted tk be honest. Chips never seem like they've been cooked for long enough either unfortunately, very pale and floppy, our delivery only took 15mins and the colour of them is just pretty poor, so it is not travel time, they're just undercooked. Not great.

I went for the unhealthy eating option but boy did it taste good!

This is my local, but on this day, my food was warm at best, plus they got my order wrong. Service was, umm, not their usual standard. As for the atmosphere. A bunch of screaming kids and a yapping chihuahua with its head sticking out the top of a bag on top of a pushchair got on my nerves. Other than all that, it was great. ;-)

Being an older couple and a little confused as to placing our order we'd like say how greatly we were assisted by JAMES. He even bought the food to our table.

Lovely,James was really very happy and looked after us very well.such a lovely personality

Typical mcdonalds, food was fine but seating area needed a good clean.

Accepts your order only to completely forget about you but refuse to cancel so you either have to give them more money or just recieve nothing.

Same old, same old, as any other McDonald's, clean and efficient.

I'd rather eat my own earwax than their food. In fact I'd rather eat someone else's earwax.

Its a fast food outlet what do u expect

Was looking forward for my Sunday take away, however the food smell weirdly and tasted bad. Neither burgers neither fries were edible.

We were welcomed by one of the members of the team on the floor straight away, the food when we received it was very hot, made fresh, and while we were eating, the same member of the team who welcomed us, checked on how our food was ensuring everything was okay. My fiancé and I really appreciated this extra step and how fresh the food was!

Went for a late lunch with 5 adults and 6 kids and I am absolutely amazed with staff! All food arrived at the same time, same with drinks. Not a single item missing or mixed up. Place neat and clean, well done!

McDonald Green park Southampton staff very good specially Hannah she is very good and she is customer deal very nicely appreciate Hannah

Staff are excellent but full up with uber men who do not take there helmets off or even lift their visors, which is a security issue, parking in disabled bays and on walkways. I have made a complaint to McDonald's but they say l have to complain to the actual shop. I will do today.

No napkins in the whole of the place. Slow service.

Perfect location to stop for breakfast on way to Southampton Cruise terminals as parking is free and only 10 minutes from the terminals.

Great experience at this very well run McDonald's. The staff there could see I was struggling with a small baby and offered counter service, brought the food to our table, opened the baby changing area, asked if it was in good order (which it was) and even came ro the table to ask if the food was nice. Couldn't ask for better service. Well done James!!!!!

I don't mind McDonald's all the delivery drivers used disabled by stopping people from getting close to the restaurant the disabled and have badges I saw the same person do it twice why was he in there collecting his second delivery

No atmosphere/ drive through. breakfast on the go yo! Sweet.

Popped in with kids for a coffee and a couple of mcflurries. Staff very helpful when screen froze. Lovely flat white and no complaints from kids. Two idiots arguing and swearing in the car park over pedestrians v cars. Restaurant wasn't too busy - drive through looked rammed. Car park was full.

The food tasted okay . Our chips were very salty. Our drinks had lots of ice and were delicious . The McDonald's was extremely busy which is fine for a quick pop in . But the toilets weren't very clean

Only ordered a little in the middle of a busy day but the food was actually piping hot 🔥 loved the milkshake they gave and very speedy service with a smile. Definitely one of the better McDonalds I've been to

Food was served fast and was hot and tasty. The atmosphere was a bit loud and busy, ok for a quick pop in, but not to sit in for a long time.

Nice old pub- Cosy but expensive for teetotallers! Not much change out of a tenner for two highball glasses on lemonade🤔

The food is raw,horrible hygiene honestly do not recommend and will never recommend.

Quick service and friendly staff

If I get a McDonald's I make sure it's from this one. I order via the app where i can collect rewards and use my blue light discount. I pick it up at the drive thru and have never had issues with temperature, missing items, or their service. They do, like all the other McDonald's in our great nation, tend to turn off the milkshake and ice cream machines nearing the end of the day and the reasoning will always be they are broken/not working, we all know they don't want to have to clean the machine again after they've just done it. However, you are more likely going to be able to get a milkshake/icecream from this establishment compared to its sisters in Totton, Shirley, m27 inbound/outbound, Sholing, West Quay or the West Quay retail park. Yes I have visited them all.

Service very slow, waited nearly 20 mins for 2 breakfast items , and 2 drinks ...4 people served before us .... Tried to ask just kept being ignored.

Customer service was perfect, The employee James was amazing he cares about that customers, He greeted us at the entrance as we walked in and while we were eating our food he came over to ask if everything was okay with it. He was the perfect employee, He has a dedicated attitude to his job. 5 stars :)

Absolutely rubbish at getting orders correct when delivering.. but seem to get them correct when going through drive through? Weird one really.

Customer Care guy James was lovely. He was so helpful and went out of his way to be nice and he checked in to make sure we were enjoying our meal. I felt like I'd been out for a proper meal. Fantastic service

Honestly.. time and time again, this place can't get it right , I really should going here but it's so convenient, I'm not exaggerating here there was literally 8 chips in my bag , please check your stuff before you drive off from the drive through, staff were nice , but 8 chips !! I was gutted and now still hungry

They had a issue with the milkshake machine. Got grunted at by the first employee clearly hated her job, the second polite asked me to park and she kindly brought my order to me. If your having issues, just inform the customer and that goes a long way.

This place regularly makes McDonald's orders bad. Either the breakfast is slapped together or they consistently forget drinks. Obviously something internal is going wrong, I get it's just McDonald's but I don't get thr same experience at the others near me.

Older gentleman who was working on the tables recognised me from before and said have ordered if so stay and ill bring meal to you. How great is that

Food is hit and miss. Make sure if you go through the drive thru or order online your check your order because more often than not, you'll end up with missing items.

Months with sporadic milk shakes, now none.

Food is standard McDonald's. It takes a little longer now to get severed and every McDonald's seems to be absolutely rammed with people at the moment buying food. Toilets could do with being cleaned more regularly rather than just the "check" that they get.

I really appreciate the detail and attention that Mr James gave to us when our order was wrong. He was very kind, always with a smile and asking if the customer was happy with the food. I fel like I was in a 5 starts restaurant. Thank you so much Mr James.

The staff are polite and helpful. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy, a few minutes wait for my order. When my order arrived it was lovely and hot.

Food warm. Painfully slow however especially in evening. Would use alternative McDonald’s

Used the drive through for like 2nd time in my life. Drove past the order point. Laughed at the pay point. By the collection point, I couldn't have parked further away from the window if I tried. I hope I made the staff laugh with my inadequacy as I couldn't stop laughing with embarrassment. I couldn't have messed it up anymore if I tried but the staff were so kind and understanding. Very helpful and it was a pleasure. To top that off my kit kat mcflurry was amazing.

Never get the right order. Not that i go often but each time i do over the years, not once has my order been correct. They always forget stuff.

Not the Best McDonald's. Parking is a Nightmare! The drive through is always busy, and not a Fast Service. Not the best location for both restaurants on the same site.

Manager was absolutely amazing today We dropped money on the floor and he gave us a shout He carried our food over to our table for our disabled father, was very kind, all the staff were in High spirits I think as a result of the good manager

I didn’t even what to give one star but I had to , The McDonald’s burgers they all test horrible and and very funny with a disgusting smell and taste, I know that some one should definitely go to McDonald restaurants and test their meat because they are either using a bad and rotten meet or other animals like horses or even worse maybe humans . I’m bagging you to really look into what I’m telling you because they are selling something that’s not what they have promised and I think it’s really hurting our health and body and they’re breaking the low so I don’t care how big and powerful the McDonalds is but I know for a fact they can not do this and get away with it. They should be closed down immediately for the safety of everyone else

I always have a very pleasant experience here, it's rare that I have a bad one. My orders are almost always correct and the staff are really friendly and polite too. My only gripes are, do not ever pay on the app and wait in a collection bay because I learnt after the second time that they prioritise everyone in the drive-thru over you so have been left waiting for very excessive periods, and my other gripe is how on earth do you manage to burn the mcmuffins at least 50% of the time. Yeah I can pull the burnt bits off so it's not a huge deal but seriously, it takes a second to toast the muffins. A burnt breakfast is the fastest route to a terrible day, breakfast should always be gold standard. Over all, it's my most preferred branch in the city by far despite the gripes.

Ordered a small amount of food at the drive through, three burgers in total. One of which being a cheese burger. Said cheese burger came with no cheese and just onion. Shocking, it a shame I had already left before realising the error.

McDonald's has changed since I was a kid. The chips used to be hot when they came out and actually tasted nice, customer service was great and very quick. Always served with smiles but nowadays it's like they just can't be asked with the food presentation it's not served carefully I feel like they've just slopped a burger together and done and they find that acceptable? I used to favour McDonald's over KFC all the time it was my favourite place to eat because the food tasted amazing but now I feel I'm swaying more towards KFC that's how bad McDonald's has gotten.

I will get my food through drive-through, food always hot and nice except last week it, the wrap wasn't done properly and the ingredients just went all down and they always forget to add the dips I buy extra, I have no idea why

Just a cheeky muffin for breakfast. However after going to the bath room I realised I was in a cubicle with no toilet roll. Not even a holder for any to go on. Nothing. Good job I had a small Pack of tissues in my back.

waited 20 minutes in a deserted mcdonalds for them to not only give me a melted mcflurry, but to give me two big macs instead the nuggets i ordered. The service was atrocious and they all seemed to be absent mindedly standing around, perhaps if they focussed a little more they'd actually be capable of getting some orders correct. genuinely horrendous, should've just gone to kfc
