Food was served fast and was hot and tasty. The atmosphere was a bit loud and busy, ok for a quick pop in, but not to sit in for a long time.

Quick service and friendly staff

If I get a McDonald's I make sure it's from this one. I order via the app where i can collect rewards and use my blue light discount. I pick it up at the drive thru and have never had issues with temperature, missing items, or their service. They do, like all the other McDonald's in our great nation, tend to turn off the milkshake and ice cream machines nearing the end of the day and the reasoning will always be they are broken/not working, we all know they don't want to have to clean the machine again after they've just done it. However, you are more likely going to be able to get a milkshake/icecream from this establishment compared to its sisters in Totton, Shirley, m27 inbound/outbound, Sholing, West Quay or the West Quay retail park. Yes I have visited them all.

Service very slow, waited nearly 20 mins for 2 breakfast items , and 2 drinks ...4 people served before us .... Tried to ask just kept being ignored.

Customer service was perfect, The employee James was amazing he cares about that customers, He greeted us at the entrance as we walked in and while we were eating our food he came over to ask if everything was okay with it. He was the perfect employee, He has a dedicated attitude to his job. 5 stars :)

Absolutely rubbish at getting orders correct when delivering.. but seem to get them correct when going through drive through? Weird one really.

Customer Care guy James was lovely. He was so helpful and went out of his way to be nice and he checked in to make sure we were enjoying our meal. I felt like I'd been out for a proper meal. Fantastic service

Honestly.. time and time again, this place can't get it right , I really should going here but it's so convenient, I'm not exaggerating here there was literally 8 chips in my bag , please check your stuff before you drive off from the drive through, staff were nice , but 8 chips !! I was gutted and now still hungry

They had a issue with the milkshake machine. Got grunted at by the first employee clearly hated her job, the second polite asked me to park and she kindly brought my order to me. If your having issues, just inform the customer and that goes a long way.

This place regularly makes McDonald's orders bad. Either the breakfast is slapped together or they consistently forget drinks. Obviously something internal is going wrong, I get it's just McDonald's but I don't get thr same experience at the others near me.

Older gentleman who was working on the tables recognised me from before and said have ordered if so stay and ill bring meal to you. How great is that

Food is hit and miss. Make sure if you go through the drive thru or order online your check your order because more often than not, you'll end up with missing items.

Months with sporadic milk shakes, now none.

Food is standard McDonald's. It takes a little longer now to get severed and every McDonald's seems to be absolutely rammed with people at the moment buying food. Toilets could do with being cleaned more regularly rather than just the "check" that they get.

I really appreciate the detail and attention that Mr James gave to us when our order was wrong. He was very kind, always with a smile and asking if the customer was happy with the food. I fel like I was in a 5 starts restaurant. Thank you so much Mr James.

The staff are polite and helpful. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy, a few minutes wait for my order. When my order arrived it was lovely and hot.

Food warm. Painfully slow however especially in evening. Would use alternative McDonald’s

Used the drive through for like 2nd time in my life. Drove past the order point. Laughed at the pay point. By the collection point, I couldn't have parked further away from the window if I tried. I hope I made the staff laugh with my inadequacy as I couldn't stop laughing with embarrassment. I couldn't have messed it up anymore if I tried but the staff were so kind and understanding. Very helpful and it was a pleasure. To top that off my kit kat mcflurry was amazing.

Never get the right order. Not that i go often but each time i do over the years, not once has my order been correct. They always forget stuff.

I didn’t even what to give one star but I had to , The McDonald’s burgers they all test horrible and and very funny with a disgusting smell and taste, I know that some one should definitely go to McDonald restaurants and test their meat because they are either using a bad and rotten meet or other animals like horses or even worse maybe humans . I’m bagging you to really look into what I’m telling you because they are selling something that’s not what they have promised and I think it’s really hurting our health and body and they’re breaking the low so I don’t care how big and powerful the McDonalds is but I know for a fact they can not do this and get away with it. They should be closed down immediately for the safety of everyone else

Manager was absolutely amazing today We dropped money on the floor and he gave us a shout He carried our food over to our table for our disabled father, was very kind, all the staff were in High spirits I think as a result of the good manager

I always have a very pleasant experience here, it's rare that I have a bad one. My orders are almost always correct and the staff are really friendly and polite too. My only gripes are, do not ever pay on the app and wait in a collection bay because I learnt after the second time that they prioritise everyone in the drive-thru over you so have been left waiting for very excessive periods, and my other gripe is how on earth do you manage to burn the mcmuffins at least 50% of the time. Yeah I can pull the burnt bits off so it's not a huge deal but seriously, it takes a second to toast the muffins. A burnt breakfast is the fastest route to a terrible day, breakfast should always be gold standard. Over all, it's my most preferred branch in the city by far despite the gripes.

Ordered a small amount of food at the drive through, three burgers in total. One of which being a cheese burger. Said cheese burger came with no cheese and just onion. Shocking, it a shame I had already left before realising the error.

McDonald's has changed since I was a kid. The chips used to be hot when they came out and actually tasted nice, customer service was great and very quick. Always served with smiles but nowadays it's like they just can't be asked with the food presentation it's not served carefully I feel like they've just slopped a burger together and done and they find that acceptable? I used to favour McDonald's over KFC all the time it was my favourite place to eat because the food tasted amazing but now I feel I'm swaying more towards KFC that's how bad McDonald's has gotten.

Just a cheeky muffin for breakfast. However after going to the bath room I realised I was in a cubicle with no toilet roll. Not even a holder for any to go on. Nothing. Good job I had a small Pack of tissues in my back.

waited 20 minutes in a deserted mcdonalds for them to not only give me a melted mcflurry, but to give me two big macs instead the nuggets i ordered. The service was atrocious and they all seemed to be absent mindedly standing around, perhaps if they focussed a little more they'd actually be capable of getting some orders correct. genuinely horrendous, should've just gone to kfc

Went to macdonals millbrook Southampton ordered double cheese quarter pounder meal only 1 burger not 2, changed it then it came with everything on it, finely got it the 3rd time after half hour what's going going with staff can't read the order's.

Food was hot and well presented.

What can I say? I always have chicken as the meat is IMO not meat? Never looks like the pictures in the ads I mean NEVER. The drive thru staff were very nice and did a good job so 👏🏽👏🏽 to them 👍🏽👍🏽

Couldn't get click and collect to work, so I had to join the queue for drive through.

Ordered food with table service, really quick unlike other McDonald's restaurants. Food was also nice and hot.

Ordered a Big Mac with no pickles. Got given a Big Mac with pickles

Only my second visit since moving to the area over a year ago, and it reminded me why. If you're lucky, McDonalds can be quite tasty, but that's 2 for 2 on dried out fries, and 2 for 2 on dried out bun for Millbrook McDs

Definitely been to better McDonald's before. Their idea of clean leaves alot to be desired and whoever dressed the sausage and egg muffins must have done it from the other side of the kitchen. Their oil needs dropping more often too cos the hash brows were too dark 😩

Not happy used my points order then turn up to find by woman saying their close. Yet the app bad their open . She didn't want to even give advice how to get my points back not happy . Lucky one in toton was open very polite and mange to get food from then instead . So basic lost 4,000 points

Shocking! Mcflurry tonight, was so looking forward to the wispa gold as its my favourite chcoolate bar, but they are just unedible, just like I can't even describe, see pics attached.

We ordered take out inside Mcdonalds. 3 large big tasty meals and one large big mac meal. Two of the big tasty meals were ordered with bacon but when we arrived home, the bacon was missing. There is no excuse for this as they weren't busy and had plenty of staff but the problem is that they are concentrating more on getting the deliveroo etc orders right and out on time that they mess up on other orders. We spent over £34 and we are not happy or impressed with this service. We use this branch of Mcdonalds regularly and hopefully this will be sorted out

Just brought 3 breakfast meals, got home and only 1 mcmuffin in the bag

The restaurant was very messy, all self service bins were full, most tables had leftover trays on them . Not dedicated for table clearing and tidying up.

Be very careful eating here I’ve put a complaint in to FSA for food poisoning I eat there on the 28th only eat there that day then was sick that night and vomiting up for three hours the next morning rang to inform the franchise up so the now but as the manager was not interested and basically said it’s allegedly food poisoning as I’ve got no proof and even said that it would be my doctor that would proof it so thank you for the advice I will save some stool for the doctor to test I wasn’t going to do that but he was not concerned didn’t even take my name beware

Not the best McDonald's. Food took a long time to come. Seemed deliveries were being given preference. Lots of kids not being controlled by an appropriate adult. Food was as expected when it eventually arrived.

Went in and ordered didn't wait long Some young lady was at the door letting people in and out and keeping the eating area very clean and tidy

I ordered through the app and told my code to the kiosk to place my order. The lady who confirmed my order was perfectly professional and polite as I would expect, but when I pulled up to the window to receive my meal I was greeted my mandi (very big red lipstick) who asked if I would park in the KFC car park as the two waiting bays for mcdonalds were full already with people waiting for food, I said I would prefer to wait outside the window as I know there is a sensor that times how long a vehicle is waiting and that in turn get me as a customer better service if the reports show slow service. She looked at me like I was speaking another language and then told me 'well we need to serve the other cars'. I then reluctantly moved to the requested bay. I got out of my vehicle and walked back towards the window where mandi was serving as I wanted sugar and a stirrer for my coffee, upon walking up to the window I witnessed mandi repeating what I had said to another employee in a mocking imitating voice and as she turned around and saw I was at the window I said 'hi I'm that customer, you know That guy you were just referring too! Can I get some sugar and a stirrer please?'. She gave me my requested items and then I returned to my vehicle and awaited my food. I have received bad customer service before but never to the point that I've witness such sloppy behaviour from an employee. I completely understand that my opinion on how the drive through should and does work is frowned upon but if the employee wants to slag me off then use some sense and do it in the staff room and not around customers. She would never know if another customer at the counter or in the store had known me or recognised me and therefore shouldn't ever do such a thing. It was extremely unfortunate for mandi that I returned back to the window and witnessed her unprofessional manner because she didn't offer suger or anything when we were given our drinks in the first instance. Her general demeanour was abrupt and negative which is unlike the other staff in this store that I have used for many years.

Popped in for lunch. Burgers were cold when they arrived. Fries were luke warm. No sauces. No napkins. The floor needed sweeping but tables were clean Quite a poor service overall. In need of improvement.

Hideous drive through wait so went inside. Awful service and ridiculous. Then due ti ill conceived parking got stuck trying to leave where drive through queue blocks spaces

The assistant saw us walk in and my husband on crutches head to the toilet and immediately came and unlocked the disabled toilet for him before we had to ask.She was very helpful and polite
