LYING, CHEATING CROOKS - AVOID AT ALL COSTS Due to the Dominos app having a fundamental floor, I was elsewhere when ordering and initially I didn't realise it sent my order through to this branch. Within 30 seconds I spoke to the Manager who assured me that if I went into the branch near me having placed the order and explained the issue that they would refund me - lie number 1 I then phoned back within 2 minutes and again spoke to the Manager who took my name and check my order number and said that he would cancel it and refund me which would take 2 to 5 days. Lie number 2 I the missed a call from these comedians the following day when working. When phoning back I spoke to a female member of who staff as the Manager was busy. She checked with him that I would be refunded in full and checked my details again. Nothing happened - lie number 3 I then phoned back the following day and spoke to the Manager who now claims that they made the Pizza - lie number 4 He then said that they would give me a 70% refund again talking utter rubbish and insisting that they made the Pizza - lie number 5 So far I have only received £10 which not 70% of £19.46 - lie number 6 Essentially this branch are lying crooks. I am awaiting response from Head Office in Milton Keynes. So to follow up on your reply, I have given an honest reflection of the diabolical service from you, sending me a link for a customer service form that does not work just goes to prove my point - utterly useless and utter liars. I now wholeheartedly recommend Pizza Express as I have never had an issue when using them for over 10 years, unlike Domino's who's app is flaky, falls over and lacks a simple tweak - location services, McDonalds do it, Nando's do it and guess what, Pizza Express do it - it really is not rocket science.

Terrible delivery drivers who ignore the clear and detailed address instructions choosing to follow their sat-nav instead. Then they get abusive and argumentative when they call because they can't find the property, all whilst refusing to get out their car and insist you come to them, despite them being halfway down the road because they couldn't read the CLEAR AND DETAILED ADDRESS INSTRUCTIONS

ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL AVOID!!! I waited 1 hour 25 minutes to have food delivered. Granted I'm quite a patient person but this was atrocious! The pathetic wait time and the absolute shocking customer service made this experience absolutely disastrous! Spoke to a manager to get a refund to which he agreed then didn't answer any questions from myself!!! Freezing cold food, rude disrespectful driver, absolute JOKE!!!!!

I rarely order Dominoes because of the lack of quality and price but on this occasion, I wanted to order pizza for delivery to the common which is 300 metres away and was advised I had to contact the Shirley branch. I just think this company is terrible, The only way you can truly stop these companies from ripping you off is just to stop buying from them... The food is always sickly, Why would you bother?

I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza and confirmed with the staff three times, but after waiting 20 minutes, they served us a pizza with pork. I don’t eat pork, so this was very disappointing. This experience was really frustrating.

Useless. Ordered food. Put the wrong number. Delivery driver sat outside the door for five minutes staring at the door then drove off. When I got them to come back they started arguing with me then refused a refund for cold food that took an hour to come through. Missed off our dips and refused a refund for them too.

If you value your money and health, STAY AWAY from this store. Ordered a vegi supreme, with plant based pepperoni (which I have tried many times before) , pizza came with real pepperoni, as you can clearly see in the picture and the fat in some slices. Called store to dispute this in which a woman picked up the phone and appereantly took it very seriously over the phone as she was a vegetarian herself (sure) so she wanted to make sure this would be taken care of properly, said a driver would come and pick up the pizza so they can "assess" in their store (code word for SCAM another human), I agreed to it and told her I have also evidence on my end and video as proof. Driver came, opened the pizza with a very doubting look, I could see he was about to deny it, which I immediatly made him look at the piece of fat in one of the pepperoni slices, which he then reassured me that the store would take care of this for me with absolute confidence. The store calls, a guy named Sam, poor lad, I bet the manager put him up to give me the call as appereantly he saw MY pizza himself getting prepped (I'm feeling so special), Sam told me that he could 100% confirm it was plant based pepperoni as he worked for Dominos for many years, and appereantly the experience of a customer having tried plant based pepperoni from Dominos numerous times is completely irrelevant, as Sam worked for Dominos since they baked the very first pizza. Sam denied me of a refund, said all they could do is remake the pizza with the same "plant based" pepperoni as originally done, I told Sam not to worry, they can keep their little bum ass pizza and to be honest they can keep their little bum ass 21£, I hope they can pay electric with that, maybe that way they can see the ingredients better next time.

Ordered 2 pizzas on Saturday night. Delivery driver rang the door bell and waited for 1 minute (we have a ring door bell). The driver didn't call us to say he can't get hold of us. I contacted dominos the next day and they aren't doing anything about it because we didn't contact on the day - we fell asleep as it was late. Customer Service so poor. Had I have read the reviews from other people before, I wouldn't have ordered from this dominos in Southampton.

Disgusting Service. Dominos regularly deliver to me and to be fair to them they normally ring my flat doorbell and i will buzz them in. I live on the ground floor of a flat block but tonight my delivering driver called me from outside in his car to come out to him when it is pouring with rain outside, had this guy deliver before and did the exact same thing.

At least get the order right. Terrible garlic bread, potato wedges with what looks like bites taken from them. Wish I'd checked the reviews before ordering. Now reported to Dominoes, franchises like this give them a bad name.

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Domino's that I feel compelled to share. I found a black hair in my food (I am blonde) which is absolutely unacceptable. When I reported this to the store, I was told that the issue would be investigated to determine if the hair came from staff or the supplier and that someone would come to collect the food for inspection. After waiting for an hour and a half, I called back to check on the status and was reassured that someone would be with me in 30 minutes. No one arrived. I called back again and spoke with a manager named Tim, who claimed that someone had knocked on my door and called me twice, neither of which happened. I had been waiting by the door and had my phone with me the entire time. This situation dragged on until 10 PM on a Sunday evening and I have to be up for work the next day. I have now taken it upon myself to complain to their customer service team for this to be fully investigated. The lack of communication and failure to address this serious hygiene concern is incredibly disappointing. I expect better from Domino's and hope they will take steps to ensure this doesn't happen to other customers. Update - it’s been another half an hour no one has arrived to collect my pizza and they are now ignoring my calls. They then told me that I should contact HR. Absolute shambles, wasted my entire evening waiting around for them.

Driver Alan makes my day every time he delivers my order, he goes above and beyond to make sure everything is right and on time etc and always with a cheerful smile! More drivers like Alan please

Say what you want about dominos. Ordered, 17 minutes later it’s in my hands. For what it is, it’s bang on every time.

Usually very happy with this store - but sadly my friend has had a very frustrating experience. We ordered pizza via the ap on Friday & he opted for a pizza on the a la carte menu but switched some toppings as he always does to make it a more bespoke experience- he switched so e red&green peppers but opted to keep jalapeños (as we're part of the standard framework of the pizza) Upon reaching home he noticed that there were NO jalapeños- this in its self is not a crime- but the crime here is ordering something & not getting what you ordered!! It's tantamount to stealing - as he was charged for jalapeños but did not get any. When in a restaurant one expects to receive what one orders- just because this is a pizza (and nit cheap I may add!) And is takeaway does not mean that staff can simply omit ingredients from orders. This may be an oversight - but its not the first time it has happened (in other branches too) I suggest that the manager does spot checks or can offer some kind of voucher compensation? Unfortunately my friend was away on business over the weekend & did not have time to make contact. As it happens he did take photos of the pizza- he is CEO in online marketing & events for a large catering company & often takes photos of good experience. I will attach 2 pizzas - one with and the one without the jalapeños- for reference. I myself am happy with the service & food at this branch but I do find it irksome when I have to pay 50p for a dip having spent over 10£ on food - just because I order small pizza doesn't mean I can't have a dip. The staff are very polite and I find no fault in their service- but maybe need a refresh in topping department?

Ordered a pizza, got sent a tuna pizza despite being allergic to fish, when I called I simply got a ‘we’re closed call back tomorrow’, when I called back the next day I didnt get past ‘uhh I don’t really know’, never got any money back.

Tried calling at 23:00. They claim they’re open until 05am but nobody answered the phone despite calling and 3:00 answered despite calling. Unfortunately my friends ended up spending £35 on subway (I know, terrible choice, not my impetus, but they’re full apparently. Surely this is a situation where just hiring more staff well lill literally did finishes. Night night slovenly;)

I ordered a pizza at midnight (the hut works until 5 am), delivery was late so I called them to ask what is happening. They said they would send somebody straightway. The driver couldn't find my place even though I gave him specific instructions before ordering on the website and his excuse was that his 'map took him there'. He also gave me the wrong order. Pizza was cold and had almost no tomato sauce. Overall very unpleasant experience and I won't be ordering from them again. If you have shortage of staff, maybe start paying people properly ,that way you'll attract better staff who aren't miserable and actually want to work.

Whoever gives them then bad reviews need to get the heads tested we have been ordering them for the last 3 weeks every single pizza has been spot on hot and delivered very quickly thank you very much

I’ve been using this place to order pizza for years now and I was never left disappointed. The drivers are almost always nice and come to my front door. The food is always good and always warm. There have been times when they forgot my drink but that happened like 2-3 times in the 10 years I’ve been using this branch.

Ordered a takeaway tonight and they got the wrong order for 2 of the 3 items !!! Called immediately after delivery and we were promised a replacement within 25 mins ! After 1 hour I chased repeatedly only to be told our address didn’t exist despite having previous deliveries and then told after the 3rd call that it was the correct order and we were mistaken which we clearly weren’t !!! Eventually after 1 1/4 hours later food arrived ! No apology and appalling customer service Shame on you Dominos as we will not order again !

If I could leave no stars I would! Paid £30.00 for food to not receive anything yesterday. I’ve been speaking with Casper (Manager) and he has advised there is nothing they can do about it as apparently my door was knocked and their procedures are to take food back to store. They’ve told me they’re unable to provide me with a screenshot GPS status showing that their delivery driver was at my house. Something doesn’t seem to add up here. I think twice before ordering from here - absolute robbery I’ll be contacting my bank to see if they can take any action on this.

I have previews ordered dominos from the place, but the service from the manager so told "manager" was horrific, i explained my fries were not cooked, and it was missing the sauce, regardless he didn't even offer a voucher as the previews manager did, this incident happened on 14/12/2023, at 00:12, this is not good service, the explanation was also stupid, saying that he will be sure the refund team will give me my money back, which i know for a fact nothing will happen

This place used to be good. But everytime I order now I know I'll get horrible pizza. Soggy, cold pizza with hardly any toppings and today's pizza actually arrived in tatters (reckless driving maybe?). I've tried to call and let them know in the past but honestly I can't be bothered anymore - just going to stop ordering Dominos.

I received a different pizza to the one I ordered and made the customer service team aware of this (wrong toppings and also I paid extra for stuffed crust which wasn't included). They said the store owner would be in touch. I received a generic reply from the store owner and no store credit. I would avoid.

The worst place to order. The manager Casper is so rude and very unprofessional. We ordered two pizza and one pizza was having a piece of beef in that, when we called to complain they said it’s casual and this things happen in food industry. In fact he told me that I have to tell him I have an allergy from non- vegetarian food while ordering vegetarian food, that was so stupid and idiotic. Domino pizza on Avenue Southampton Management appalling especially Alex doesn’t know how to talk staff bullying attitude and discriminating against certain staff this was witnessed from front desk .very toxic environment to work in. I ordered a cheese and tomato pizza. It was AMAZING, easily the best Domino's I've had post millennium.

Thought I'd drop a review here because there are so many bad ones that I simply can't believe its that bad. I'll be honest, I'm a regular here (like REALLY regular) and I can count on one hand where something really isn't right. Each time I've called for an issue, they've sorted it. Food is often delivered rapidly and is steaming hot. It's also very tasty. I get that some people have bad experiences, but it always looks bad on places when people only review to complain rather than to compliment. Be your own judge I say!

Really bad service...incompetent staff, just really poor poor poor *Update* Yet again incompetent staff, the illiterate girl on the phone took down my address and got it wrong, she’s either deaf or just just simply dumb but I assume it’s the latter, I gave her the address and postcode several times and the silly girl still got it wrong, the delivery driver did his best but he took way too long, and he actually took the brunt of the wrath, but this will be last time I order from them, can’t be ask to wait over an hour for a pizza, it ridiculous and poor service, it’s a 0 from me because stupidity just doesn’t cut it, that girl needs basic training on the phones because she was shocking.

Driver went to the wrong address, called them ask them what went wrong and the store manager proceed to tell me i live somewhere else and that the driver drove to the right place.

Absolute joke I ordered 2 large pizzas just now and they are undercooked, way to much tomato sauce on the base it was dripping everywhere, the pizza dough it's self wasn't like the normal dough you get at dominos. Ordered 3 pizzas. They all tasted amazing, but they used 1 HOUR AND 56 MINUTES?? Thats waay to long for a pizza delivery. Had to call 3 times. And they just said "their on their way' and hanged up their phone every time.

Avoid, Not reliable staff. Went to collect the telephone order. Staff said it's in oven. After another 10 min wait he said his colleague didn't get the order correct. They absolutely don't know what they doing. These staff are shame to Whole Domino's.

Like the others we also experienced extremely rude service by the manager of the store.. The same story as others, our order tuned up wrong, when we called they offered to add credit to our account and then when we call we are rudely being treated like we are lying and he refused to look at who could have taken our call.

I wonder why they ve got low review. Awful customer service. Waited 20 minutes for my pizza just to find out, they gave one to someone else and I had to wait another 20 min to get one cold left on the counter for 40 minutes and one hot pizza. I was a regular customer for soo long and ignored the bad service but this time killed it. No more Dominos from the Avenue. I won't recomand it. Awful pizza, Awfull customer service. Awful customer service from the manager on duty today. All we wanted was a apology for there mistake. Made to feel like a liar.

I am appalled by the service provided by the manager on shift today (David) 12:00 03/07/22 after having an order delivered last weekend on 25/06/22 and having my item missing from the order (Ben and Jerry’s ice cream) upon delivery I phoned the store to tell them that this item was missing from my order and was told I could either have £10 credited to my account or wait for another ice cream to be delivered, when making my order today I tried to use the credit and was told there was no credit on my account and there was nothing they could do about it I was made to feel like a liar and was extremely argumentative not Apologetic in the slightest this is hands down the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced I also work in the hospitality industry and would never treat any customer in the way I was treated today. I’ll be sending an email to dominos head office hopefully they will have a look into some customer service training for this manager to avoid this happening again.

Imagine spending almost 50 quid on pizza and the lazy driver can’t even bring it your door. Being in a block of flats I had to go down stairs and pick it up, and as I ordered a lot I almost dropped it all. Covid is over, get over yourselves.

Every delivery I get a call saying they're outside, I ordered food to my door, deliver it to my door please. I say on the phone "Can you please bring it to the door.", and it's always followed up with a disappointed sigh and them then actually being 2-3 minutes away from my address. Food is nice, but delivery is the only part that ruins it.

The pizza came late for a start, blamed unable to enter a hotel. So ended up with a half cold pizza by the time it arrived. Ordered a 13'5 pizza but ended up with a 11'5. Absolute joke!!!!
