The food was outstanding in my honest opinion. We are 2 miles away from the place and we order regularly from them for over a year now and we always appreciate the extra effort for all of our previous orders the past year. Tonight was a let down, after my second attempt to order via JustEat using a voucher I earned with my previous purchases (about £12 off) it was cancelled. Called the restaurant and they said they no longer deliver to the Canute Road area. Strange. Well, I was happy to order without using the voucher but good riddance. They could have just be honest, they don’t honour orders using the JustEat vouchers because I am happy to spend money for their food. Bye 👋

Good food but we booked for 6.20 and the app said it would arrive around then. I waited 45 minutes before chasing it. The delivery time on the app then got changed to 7.20 and that's the time it arrived. I had no communication from them as to any delay. Very disappointed on the service, especially when food isn't cheap.

The lamb balti was delicious! Thank you for the man who delivered it on-time despite our distance from the store itself. This is definitely one of the best Indian meals we’ve had in Southampton.

Superb food and prompt delivery , got recommended to me by a friend and I have passed that on to more friends all very happy with it .

I think this place is better than most restaurants within 10 miles. I have had a couple of delivery issues on really busy evenings but that should be expected. I've have even had taxi drivers deliver food which I can only say is customer commitment! Cant Fault the food either. Our go to place and we live in Hedge End

Best part of 1 hour 45 mins to deliver 3 dishes & 2 naans 6-7 minutes down the road. Polite and courteous drivers but I won’t be ordering again. Food was not hot and just eat “can’t do anything about that” apparently. 🚮 Food was on the bland side too which I expect but decent prices. Very skimpy on any dish involving king prawn.

Watery, tasteless curry and a very, very burnt nan bread. The onion bhaji’s were amazing but sadly the rest was a real let down.

Hands down, Spice Garden is the best curry every time we order we savour the experience: piping hot and tasty curry always. The Rogan Josh is delish!

Please can delivery driver come to back door as per sat nav as opposed to front door by the green. Front door is less convenient to driver and to me!! Thank you!! I shouldn’t have to add this statement to each order I make. Food was delicious, nicely packed with no seepage via a sociable driver. Was very disappointed watery cold and tasteless food and my partners lamb madras had no taste either and the chicken had an awful texture to the point I could not eat it .

I have not used this take away for a long time BUT once again they seem to have a very good chef as the first lamb dish was excellent. Full of taste and hot with the green chillies. Thank you

I order from this Restaurant almost every weekend (I live alone so it's a nice treat before my one day off) Ordering is easy, delivery (I do not ride anymore) is always on time, the food is always delicious and the drivers are all friendly :-)

probably in the top 3 of worst curries I've ever had, arrived cold and tasteless, the madras sauce I could have fed to a baby it was so spiceless. don't waste your money ordering ftom here.

New favourite Indian takeaway. Delicious food. I wanted to get it faster so I opted to collect instead of deliver, but it still took 40 minutes until it was ready to collect. So it’s slow, but definitely worth the wait.

Ordered from here a fair few times and recently seems to have gone downhill a little. The food is generally nice, nothing special and I would avoid any prawn dishes from here, there are tiny little overcooked prawns, not nice king prawns you would expect in a curry.

I’ve been looking for the best Indian food for a while now and tried so many different restaurants and this one is definitely the best by far. Will definitely be coming back. Thankyou.

Absolutely delicious!! Rated 5 for quality and 3 for delivery time. Took an hour and fifteen mins to arrive after ordering. Was worth the wait though.

35 mins late food stone cold had to put in the microwave. Phone restaurant only to be told driver had left 10 mins before placed order 5.40pm received order 7.15 pm was supposed to be delivered at 6.40pm

Quick delivery. Food not great quality - chicken not cooked particularly nicely and my korma was extremely watery. I had to mop up the water on my plate from it, not very impressed unfortunately

The lamb pathia is simply to die for, easily one of the best in Southampton. Perfect level of spice, plenty of lamb that’s beautifully tender. The rice is fantastic, so fluffy and so flavoursome. Order from here all the time because nowhere else can really compete.

Used them afew times on justeat.co.uk and usually speedy delivery and food absolutely tasty and I've tried afew indian takeaways so up there with some of the best in Southampton..well done chef and staff.. Here's a tip..try the chef specials as I know alot of people go for the standard meals as your find they are mainly their best dishes

A regular walk-in customer but first time ordering for delivery from Just Eat. Brilliant service and fantastic food, as always. I wouldn't expect anything less. I highly recommend that you try the tamarind chicken for a fantastic flavour which packs a punch!

This was the worst meal from spice garden the meal was so cold the bread was wet and soggy we are loyal customers but tonights meal was terrible arrived 35 Minutes lare in a Uber taxi who had meals lined up on back seat not in containers to keep it warm

Naan bread tasted like garlic not coconut and it was almost cold. However the rest was superb! This is a brilliant takeaway shop!! Thank you.

Good service and communication

Was told my delivery would be 45 minutes but took 90 minutes. The naan bread was cold and the mushroom bhaji dish was dry with no sauce. The curry was OK but the rice was greasy. I mentioned to the delivery driver that it was 45 minutes late and he just smiled and walked off. Only used them as my usual place closes on a Tuesday but won't be going back there again. Waste of money as only ate the curry

We have ordered from here before but not for quite a while and I'm so glad we did again. Food arrived really hot and a little early which definitely wasn't a bad thing. The driver was courteous and the food was full of flavour. Will be back again.

Meat quality wasn’t great the chicken was chewy and watery, the meal also arrived lukewarm but was on time.

Excellent delicious chicken just melts in your mouth 15 minutes early which was an extra bonus 👍

Good quantity of food but the lamb chops were tough and poor quality. The mushroom murghi was so salty my wife chose not to finish it and she normally loves salty foods. Took about 50 minutes to arrive which was around what they said. Somewhat disappointed overall though to be honest.

Each dish was delicious and full of flavour. We had lamb tikka jalfrezi, chicken TM , special rice and prawn patia with coconut rice ( great combo) and the garlic and coriander naan bread. Excellent 👌🏼

Food arrived on time but the rice is missing from my order. Not able to eat my meal without the rice so it’s currently sat on the side getting cold whilst waiting for rice to be delivered and it’s already been over 30minutes. Not ideal after a long hard week, I just want to eat my food :’(

Food was late and upon opening, i discovered it was cold. Not even luke warm. Food tasted ok but unfortunately half of it went in the bin
