Worst chips I've had in 46 years .

Absolutely disgraceful they can’t cook. Had half cooked chips staff are rude what they call batter is not batter plain looked same as battered this shop needs shutting down before they kill Some one would not surprise me if the oil in the fryer was from the old owner Yrs ago trading standereds have been informed and no refund nor replacement if u have a complaint direct to them please don’t allow ur kids to eat here or urself

Really nice food. Chicken spiciness was perfect! Just a nip of spice.. Definitely order here again.

I'm not going to write about my experience, just simply to warn people to stay away, that I had to go hungry in order for my child to eat & even though I complained instead of making sure I had something to eat he got defensive. Too expensive pitiful portion!

Have gone very downhill, don’t go unless u want to be ripped off 🤣 large chips £2.50 which came in a little bag like McDonald’s chips. And staff didn’t give care when complained. To top it off chips were cold

The taste of the fish was so bad, the chips were so bad, everything was so bad, I couldn't eat it, I threw it away, I won't order from there again.

This was great. Excellent value for money, very reasonable prices but no compromise on quality or portion size. The burgers were great, spicy wings were perfect great crispy onion rings… amazing for the price and the fries were cooked to perfection. Everything was delivered piping hot. Our first order here but it won’t be our last. Definitely recommend this place.

Where do I start took ages to get here. The food was terrible. Chips cold and stale. Wrap was soggy and salad looked a week old. Forgot the curry sauce. Fish cake like cardboard

Not good! Chicken overcooked, 6 scampi!!! It says large. Chips soggy

Over an hour from ordering till delivery, phoned restaurant to check on order as it said it was out for delivery for 15 mins (5 minute drive at best) got told it would be 5 minutes for it to be another 20 mins till delivered, burger was okay, chips were inedible

My first order with Andy’s and I will be ordering again, there fried chicken is delicious 🤤 peri peri was a bit to hot for me but still very nice

Unfortunately the fish and chips was really not good tonight. They are obviously short staffed with one person in the shop. Everything cold. The chips were horrible. Dirty oil needs changing. Batter on fish was enable did not eat it. Fish was ok. Not blaming the poor member of staff on his own but they should have not opened at all if that short staffed sending out food that is not good. Usually the food is good here but not sure if I will use again after tonight

Lovley serves and lovely food. Definitely better with new people. Will definitely visit again

Honestly the best chip shop/ chicken shop there is in Southampton. You have a wide range of selection and the portions are always big! You have have an option of skinny fries or chunky chips which I think is great and unique. Don’t order from kfc order here!!!! P.s. ignore the other comments below seriously the shop is unreal

Fish smelt like ammonia…. out today frozen fish very bad do not eat avoid avoid avoid.

Order was missing items. Called restaurant and they said they would bring some now. They took over 45 mins to bring the rest of my order despite only being a 4 min drive away. The driver was “lost” apparently which was an absolute lie as the driver, when he did eventually appear, tried to give me a free can of coke for “taking so long”. Told him to keep it and refund me. Disgusting service and definitely will not be ordering from here again.

I would not feed that food to my dog it’s guts 🤮🤮🤮 please don’t use this they can’t even cook chips in deep fat fryer never again 🤮🤮🤮🤮 I’d give zeros stars if u could if they can’t get chippy right don’t go for other food

Food delivery can take waaaay longer than stated. Portion sizes are good but the food quality isn't great. The chips are pale and taste like old cooking oil. The fish is full of bones and the batter isn't very pleasant. The chicken strips are all spicy which isn't bad but they're advertised as just chicken.

Timings are absolutely shocking. 20-30mins for a large portion of chips. Twice we've tried, twice we've had to wait that long and the portions are small, very small. I would love to try the other offerings, but the wait times are extremely off putting.

Enjoyed our meal from here, good food and great prices and portions. Only thing I have to Criticize is the delivery time, waited 1hr 50mins for the meal, was told it'll be here within a hour.

Awful - Stay clear. Food when it finally got to us was cold. When I phoned the shop had a really rude member of staff on the phone. That said “Well the food left hot” unless you like cold food. Do not use!!!!

Order online Fried Chicken via Foodhub wasn't expecting much but turned to be really good. Would be 5 stars but delivery times can be very long, BUT not sure if it is Foodhub's issue for giving a too low a estimated delivery time.

It's cheap!! I was sceptical after seeing reviews both good and bad but theres a reason why. My chips were abysmal, barely coated with a skin almost raw inside let alone cooked. I brought them home and done 12 mins in the air fryer. The fish I was expecting much and my expectation was correct. It was med fish n chips but the fish was like a small flat type you get in a birds eye box £3 for two. I would be surprised if it was actual fresh fish. Overall I'm happy for what I paid but just wished I checked before leaving, or asked for my chips cooked longer. I will give them another try at some point.

By far the best Fish and chips shop in the whole area I cannot recommend this place high enough I actually travel past 5 others to get to it stunning food

Nice local family run chip shop, food nearly always cooked to order and at very good prices.

Fish is good and well priced however everytime i have anything pork related from here i get food poisoning! 3 times now and in agony! they need to learn how to cook it longer so its not pink and dangourous!

Top notch Fish an chips, I have used this chippy on an off for 50 years, and andy has made a brill improvement,,, apart from one thing, Where’s the big polystyrene Fish gone lol
