I have eaten shawarmas in Dubai and Riyadh but I still rate this place's shawama a bit higher.

Was very happy once my map reached me there ..

So I've been seeing this place online for quite some time and a few weeks back I decided to try it. I can easily say that there is no better Shawarma place in the area. After the first order I've reordered quite a few times and I even went to the place and everything has been consistent. Keep up the good work guys!

I had a good experience at there , The shawarma was absolutely delicious, packed with flavor, and perfectly cooked. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was inviting. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic and tasty shawarma. Definitely coming back for more.

At the door it says “the most tasty shawarma in the town”, and honestly the sign is right. It’s the best shawarma in Reading, I have eaten here every time whenever I am around.

I can’t believe I have been missing out this shawarma since I’ve been in the Reading. This is the most amazing shawarma I have ever had. Very authentic and full of taste. The chicken is well grilled inside and doesn’t have any smell unlike others around. The fries topped with some spices are so crispy and delicious. It’s worth every penny you spend in there. Definitely recommended. Unable to attach any pictures because I ate it all hehe

Trust me, this is the most authentic flavor of Levantine Arabic food I have had in Reading. Excellent hospitality.

The food was awesome I travelled from Lo London to work in Reading, looking for where to eat Shawana guys when I tried this place it was fantastic, with good food, and good customer service.

Used to be a regular customer … last few times I have noticed increase in price of chicken shawarma to £7 that’s fine .. but on the other hand quantity of chicken in shawarma has gone less … I have witnessed it about 8 times .. when you increase the price … don’t try to cut down quality … that will affect your business in great way ..

So disappointed. I guess a 4.7 in reading is equivalent to a 3/5 in London when it comes to shawarma. Fries were chewy and lukewarm and the shawarma bites (lamb) were like rubber not a chance in hell that was fresh lamb. 15 quid too. Portion size is good and if the food was good too this would have been spot on. Alas I've had far worse but this was still pretty poor.

Staff was not pleasant. Kind of grumpy Google information is not up-to-date. Food is okay but it kills the mood to deal with staff.

Was a bit of surprise as I missed the authentic taste of shawarma in the UK. Very friendly owner. Very delicious food. Im a fan of lamb shawarma, they serve a really good quality ones. Price is decent for the quality. A perfect option for takeaways!

Delivery through Just Eats is also really good. I ordered the chicken plate shawarma and chicken shawarma bites. Food was hot when delivered and packed very well. The chicken shawarma bites were terrific 🔥 🔥 Just add a note asking for pita bread when ordering plate shawarma. The staff is kind and polite 😊 Super happy with the food and the service.

The guy over there is a number one scammer Even though the menu showed £8 he charged £12 and when enquired he was telling some unrelated matters. After some time three more people came with the same issue and he did the same. It's such a shame. Oh come on then change the menu and be transparent .. Dont give such response like a pure soul...If it was only me then i would have accepted that the mistake is on my side. But there were three more people complaining the same

So disappointed with this place. The food tastes good however there is a lot of false advertising. Prices are nothing like what is displayed, they always manage to rack up the price each time. Sometimes the portions are smaller and sometimes theyre missing toppings like red salt for chips. Not worth the price at all.

Amazing food. The chicken was soft, tender and juicy, also the flavor was perfect! The rice was accompanied by raisins, there was a yellow color of the rice which seemed to be curry. The ingredients in the shawarma were fresh and tasty. The rice dish was a 8/10 and the fries were very flavorful. We were able to see the chicken getting cooked and it was an amazing experience! Sanitation was good. We will come back again, thanks for the amazing food!

I have to say, Reading has never had shawarma this good! They have both the chicken & the meat Shawarma along with a range of mixed frilled meats. This is certified Halal & the service was fast. The place is small though, it has 3 tables with 2 chairs each. I have tried the usual (Chicken) shawarma & liked it a lot, small size but was more than enough for £6. I recommend visiting this restaurant for a great dinner 🥗🥙🌯

I was not expecting this... I got inside of Ahmed place expecting to eat a shawarma. I’ve ordered a mix big one with everything in it. After my first bite I was not in Reading anymore… I have been teleported to the birthplace of this famous dish: Síria. I can’t describe in words how delicious it was. so good that I finished one big one and have ordered another big one to takeaway. Definitely the best shawarma I’ve ever had in my life. Thank you so much Ahmed because you brought to the UK the real and original Shawarma giving me and all the community of Reading the privilege to taste this amazing sirian food. I definitely recommend it to go there have a first one and then order a second one to take away because it’s too good and you Really want to have it again.

Visited here yesterday and am so pleased to say that we finally have an authentic shawarma spot in Reading! It took me right back to my days in the Middle East and I would absolutely recommend it. Sorry I don't know the name of the person who made my wrap but he was very friendly and customer service was excellent. They even had the right spicy sauce which was just an added bonus!

The chicken shawarma sandwich was delicious. We got the combo with a drink and spiced chips. It’s a great deal for £8. The veg was fresh and crisp and the spicy sauce is wonderful. The man serving was so nice too.

Been to this shawarma shop recently and tried the Mixed shawarma, nice and authentic taste , friendly shop owner, definitely recommend if you are nearby, fries with spices on the top is good too.
