Sarv's Slice in Reading

Disha and her team carried out a wonderful job of providing their wonderful pizza's to our staff awayday! Our order was pre-booked and on arrival a table had been reserved for us. The pizza's were amazing and hot, along with the side and sauces (the fungi mayo was a fav). No need went unmet as some staff had dietary needs, such as dairy intolerants. I can't recommend this place high enough!

Its OK. Dont expect anything awesome after seeing all those 5 star reviews. I’ve eaten way better pizzas for cheaper in Central London! 11£ for a margarita and 6£ for a rosemary parmesan fries, really? Note: No mayo and ketchup etc available.

In need of an affordable cozy hideout for you and some friends? Look no further! Their pizza was affordable and you get 11” for the price of a small at dominoes. Their staff were super sweet and welcoming. The shop is located in Readings biscuit factory which has board games, vinyls for sale, a cinema and a terrace area. We sat down, played games and ate an amazing pizza and it was perfect. Definitely come here and support them!

Sarv’s Slice is a fantastic family-friendly pizzeria! The pizzas are delicious, with a perfect crust and fresh toppings. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. Pizza is fantastic. This is easily the best pizza I've had in Reading, or anywhere else in the UK. Disha and Sarv, and all the staff are really friendly and the service is quick.

Most awesome pizzas and foods served. Taste is out of this planet that’s how much my family Njoyed here for the First time. Highly recommend to anyone to try out this joint for the freshest pizzas and the freshest ingredients used. Veg or vegan , they serve both. Fries were amazing too. The couple of staff team who served us offered the highest professionalism and service. Awesome times and happy family .

Reading got blessed with this place🙏🙏🙏 Used to have to wait till i would go Oxford or London to get good pizza, now I can just chill at home and get something even better.

When it comes to restaurants I look at 3 things. 1. Food Quality 2. Service 3. Price Let me tell you guys something, the food quality is AMAZING! One of the only restaurants in Reading that serve detroit style pizza and oh my goodness. They wrote on the menu that it serves 2 people but it was so good I finished it myself! I decided to also try their tiramisu afterwards and it was perfect. I don’t know, it’s just like everything on their menu is so fresh, and high quality. Seriously top 3 places to dine in at reading. They have so many different options for all kinds of tastes, I personally love the Detroit Deep Dish Pizza and the Truffle Pizza with Tiramisu as dessert. Service is very good, it was my first time ordering and I was having very fun and social conversations with the employees. Sarv and Disha were very nice people to speak to, lots of laughs and jokes so I really valued that. Price is very decent. Max £20 and you’ll be full and satisfied for almost the whole day. Very fair pricing.

Dropped into Sarv's Slices today when I was in Reading and I would highly recommend. I had a pepperoni slice and it was definitely one of the Detroit style pizzas I've had. At £6.25 a slice it isn't cheap but it's definitely worth it - lovely light and chewy focaccia base, the tomato was fresh and it had the all important crispy bits. Other pizzas look excellent as well.

Simply the pizza and tiramisu in Reading! The selection of pizzas are limited, but the quality is top notch. You won’t find a better pizza in the city centre. It’s located inside the Reading Biscuit Factory which it’s super convenient as you can combine the pizza with a movie or one of the numerous events happening in the open space. It’s also great to work remotely from there and have lunch at Sarv’s. It’s my go to place to eat in Reading!

really good pizza, thoroughly enjoyed yesterday. Its self service in a nice open plan mixed arts area with people working, playing board games, drinking coffee, so not a conventional restaurant. but the Pizza is superb, service good and the bar is swell stocked.

Whenever I taste a pizza here I automatically have flash backs off my experience in Italy. The quality and authenticity of the pizza is unrivalled. The staff here are friendly and helpful. Fantastic food and service! If I could give more stars I would. Definitely recommend this place to all foodies.

The best pizzaiolo in town. Fantastic dough, the Detroit style pizzas are made from a delicious focaccia style bread which works wonders with the prefect sauce, perfect seasoning. Great flavours too. Being restricted to halal meat I only go for the margarita but it’s faultless. Well, actually I could poke a few faults and it’s more for the owner/chef. I love the garlic bread too, once, only once did it have a really burnt taste, could be from the bottom of the oven but I couldn’t say. The top was the beautiful black bubbles but I’ve had it like that several times just one time it tasted burnt. My second complaint is it’s Tuesday and I can’t have pizza 😭. Only kidding, enjoy your days off and good luck in getting the operation up and running 7 days a week.

I really didn't enjoy the Margherita at the festival. Don't mind a 30min wait as I'm not inconsiderate to busy atmospheres but the pizza was largely tasteless and moreso due to the reduced toppings applied. A pizza should not taste of primarily the base tomato but a mix of all ingredients.

We read great reviews about this place and were going to attend the Amit Kumar concert at The Hexagon in Reading - so we decided to pop in to Sarve's Slice, at The Old Biscuit Factory. There were thirteen of us in our group, so we ordered nine various pizzas and four garlic bread, not knowing if had enough time to finish eating before the actual concert. We needed have worried as the quick service was absolutely superb, bringing us our order in stages, every few minutes. About the quality of the food : i have never experienced such a tasty pizza, cooked to perfection - so thin and delicate that it almost melted in the mouth - infused with such succulent flavour. Thank you so much for a great experience, we'll definitely come again if we visit Reading - our first time, yesterday.

If there's anywhere that doesn't need another 5* review, it's Sarvs. The pizza absolutely speaks for itself. Sarv is the perfect example of someone who cares 100% about the food and experience he gives his customers. As a former pizza chef myself, you won't find a better pizzeria for MILES around (maybe until you reach Naples) if you haven't visited yet, you're missing out big time.

As Italian I have to say that I’m quite demanding about food and especially about pizza but my expectations were not disappointed. The pizza was absolutely delicious that I soon regretted to have shared it with my friend. The skill of Sarv that I understood is a chef and the excellent quality of ingredients that come from Italy are the secret for the best italian pizza in London!

I had Sarves Slice come to my party for my 21st birthday and they were amazing! Super organised and so lovely to communicate with. They made me a special using my name and favourite ingredients and everyone at the party was raving about how good the pizza was. Travelled all the way from Paris to taste the best Margharita and Napoli pizza, unfortunately didn't get my anchovies, but pepperoni instead. Nothing to add, great pizzas, full of taste, under 10£ in a great place.

I am not a great fan of pizza but I decided to try the Valentines rose and strawberry buns. The topping was a lovely white almost like a foam. The sweetness of the topping really complimented the lemony tang in the rose and strawberry filling. Really delicious. I would highly recommend these. Thanks Sarv

Came back from Florence and missing the authentic Italian pizza. A neighbour told me about Sarv's and now I'm not missing Florentine pizza anymore! Brilliant pizza, great quality ingredients, tasty dough. It's just perfect. If you're in West London you shouldn't miss the opportunity to taste Sarv's pizza! Highly recommended.
