Shawarma King in Kirklees

I had birthday I ordered 10 pizza from the shwarma king was very delicious and testy, they have good service

The best food by far in dewsbury,clean premises,nice friendly staff,cheap prices, value for money,dinner pizza

Doner meat was cold and very thin. Won’t be ordering again

"Worst ever experience of a restaurant in my life" I went for lunch, and asked the staff member for a plate. To my surprise, they started argumentation, and started asking about my nationality. Even though I paid, and returned the half eaten food in response to their bad attitude, they still escalated the situation, and started abusing right away. Honestly, I was broken from inside after all of this as it was a huge insult and damage to my mind. To ease myself, I returned after sometime and apologized in spite of the fact that they abused and harassed me. I dont want to give any bad reviews, however, I had to write this to create awarness and to make sure that they dont treat other customers that way. I wish I could avenge them but I leave it to Almighty. Thank you!

I have ordered 2nd time and both occasions they messed up my order. The staff need to improve their English skills. DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM THERE.

The food wasn't the best I would say, the donner meat was dry and the peri peri wrap was just chick shawarma with chilli sauce on it. There are only a few tables to sit at and get crowded. Unfortunately I left here still hungry

Not bad, clicked on the Pepsi option on the menu and got Barr Cola, kinda scruffy

chips we're over cooked they was rock hard, and order was missing can of pop.

Hi , order pizza special and donor very disappointed very thin like chapati and on top tomato sauce and onion and little bit donor . Even asda smart price is better then they pizza's. Don't waste ur money .

I went from Huddersfield to get food from there and take to Pinderfields hospital in Wakefield....I explained few time I want 21 on manu and plus just lamb Donner meat. I gave me lamb Donner, charged me 13.50 . I phoned them, I was very disappointed and annoyed. He said bring the food back. I explained to him. Very sad.

Got a shawarma wrap on my break today only to go back to work and discover moldy bits on the outside of the naan half way through my sandwich! And now I have the classic symptoms of food poisoning. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE 🤮

Ordered Donna meat and chips and they sent it wrong . They sent chicken instead. Tried one piece of the chicken to see if it was a problem to just keep it and the chicken had an awful taste. We also ordered two wraps and they were ice cold. Like they had come out of the freezer . Wasn’t prepared to warm it up with it been chicken. Phoned them up just told take it up with just eat. So 3 meals in the bin. Wouldn’t recommend

The staff are friendly and welcoming. The Nans a cooked to order in front of you and the chicken shawarma is the tastiest chicken I have ever eaten. It is also really cheap with large portions.

The place overall was cramped, disgusting, infested with fly's and I could barley breath! The only good thing was the food. Never coming back you disgusting people!

We thought to give tey. Went this morning got 3 piece chicken and chips. Chicken tasted bad wasn't fresh like it was warmed up in microwave. Never again..

Was in town to buy school uniform for my son and decided to try Shawarma King. We ordered the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Fresh chicken shawarma, salad and sauces wrapped in a Turkish style flatbread. The portion size was good as was the price. A definite thumbs up.

I wouldn't recommend me and my husband come in yesterday and my husband and my self has got food poisoning very poor food but staff is good we will not be going anymore

Disgusting. Came here for a 12" fatayer and chips. The fatayer was just a tiny pizza placed in a 12" pizza box, and the rest was just filled with chips. The chips smelt and tasted as if they have been cooked in old oil, not the type of oil that's 2 weeks old, but rather oil that's been there and used for months. This gave me food poisoning. Absolutely rank will never be going there again.

First time I’ve made a review as the food honestly exceeded my expectations. As a Bradford Lad, there’s always a shawarma place, but not like this. The bread for the sandwich was nice and warm and crunchy because he used the panini machine (nice touch). Little to no oil compared to other places where there’s always pools full of oil at the bottom. The chilli sauce was very different in a good way. Cheap and cheerful and not like most.

This little gem serves super fresh Persian bread delicious chicken and lamb, salads etc from the centre of dewsbury. the hard working owner takes pride in his product. We have visited numerous occasions and never been disappointed except when they sold out of everything. Tells you they are doing something right !

Always get to quality food never thought I would get such good shawarma locally. The guy is a top guy too always gives good customer service but the good is really nice.

Does not even deserve a one star, order what we thought was ‘Chicken Shawarma’ opened it and there was a foul smell straight away, looking closer the ‘chicken’ was PINK!!! We did get a full refund but the food quality is absolutely appalling, no wonder it is rated ONE STAR FOOD HYGIENE!

Avoid this shop please got food poisoning from chicken and chips are not safe for consumption reheated in old oil and taste like raw old oil.The owner is very rude and racist even his staff go to dubai shwarma opposite dewsbury bus station.As they know the quality here at this slum is terrible.I will be getting in touch with kirklees hygiene about this terrible hut in middle of town serving peasant food.Rat infested place seen a baby rat sleeping in the onions terrible.

First time ive been and loved the food there.. small takeaway place with afew tables, great for a quick bite... beautiful food.

Food hygiene is appauling unqualifed women working in the kitchen at the back with children.The owner is extremely rude and arrogant no customer service.Chicken has pieces if bone init and chips are reheated in old oil from up to 2 weeks old.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE RISK OF FOOD POISONING.RAT INFESTATION.

If it was possible I would give this place 0 ordered a chicken burger with nothing on and made it with everything on after I told them several times I wanted it plain. They made a ‘fresh’ one for me and the man who gave it to me handled cash then put his hands over my food to close the box without washing his hands before. After I had eaten it I had bad stomach pain and cramp then it made me go dizzy then about 1/2 hours after I eat it I was sick and the only thing to come out was their chicken burger. I will never be buying anything else from here!
