Ordered food, the order was accepted and payment taken, email confirmation received! Ten minutes later order cancelled and can take up to five days for refund! DO NOT ACCEPT ORDER AND TAKE PAYMENT IF YOU CANT DELIVER!!! Terrible and will not attempt to use again!!!

First and last order with Uber eats. I had guest at home and we order food from Jollibee . We waited and waited for our food. After half an hour we received a massage your food delivered with a picture from our door, but no body knocked or came to our door. We sent a message they said our deliver came you didn't open. We said now where is our food they didn't reply and didn't refund our money.

Horrible food. They charged £7.50 for falafel and chips. Chips were soggy and blackish probably rotten. Wrap tasted bad. Would never recommend this to anyone.

Ordered a large Chicken Shawarma (served on a plate) and waited 2 hours only to call and find out that not even it wasn't on its way to me but it wasn't even processed. Anyway the bloke on the phone was nice and told us he's going to give some treats on the house as a sorry for waiting. Order was delivered quick once it has been processed and received no treats but it didn't bother me that much. What bothered me is that I used to like and trust this place (first order back in 2016 when I was still a student). Received some salad that didn't even have salad dressing as you'd normally receive in a shawarma and the only thing that wasn't blank in taste was the chicken. Never ordering again. 😤

Absolutely avoid. If you want to have a food that leftover from yesterday or perhaps before, then it is the right place, especially during early times. I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap, the chef put pieces of leftover chicken from an aside pot into my wrap rather than from fresh chicken on the skewer. Couldn't even chew it. It tasted disgusting and I threw it straight away.

Absolute disgrace. Waited over 2 hours. Phoned numerous times. Good arrived greasy. Tiny portions..uncooked chips. Avoid at all costs. We used to love the schwarma from there. Shame. Has the ownership changed? Just don't bother...

Our most recent order will be our last! We have been regular customers for a few years now, but standards have deteriorated to the point of no return. Over recent months, portion sizes have reduced which we could tolerate, but now the food quality is so poor. In our most recent order, the rice was so dry and tasteless, it was if it had been left in a pan for hours. The halloumi was barely grilled. Our takeaway went in the bin!

I've been using Shawarma Albake for years, but the takeaway I received from them just this Friday was almost inedible. The quality of the food was terrible! I messaged who I though was still the owner, Mohamed B, who said that he no longer owns the restaurant any more and sold it on. I won't be ordering food from here again.

I will never buy from them again, I bought a grill sea bass fish, I was sent some other fish, really disgusting, tasteless, couldn't eat it, so I call them to confront them, I was told that they would send king prawns which never came, very disappointed, if you run out of things just be honest with customers instead of sending rubbish hoping that customers would not find out !!

Nice food and nowadays their delivery has improved as well and you get your order a bit sooner than before.

I ordered a munchbox for £23, never again, the lamb was literally inedible, everything was cold and the pizza was 90% bread. The only half decent part of the meal was the chicken cubes. Like I said, never again. I've given one star for the timely delivery.

We enjoyed this takeaway at first and now will never return. The last time we ordered we were waiting 3 hours for it to arrive and had to go elsewhere as it was a no show. We called a few times asking where it was and there was plenty of excuses and lies saying it was on the way. We then arranged for a refund and we still don't have one after waiting almost a month, and following up a few times. Very disappointed and still aiming to get our refund back.

Terrible service waited over 3 hours for food was told twice it was with the driver and then told it was still in the shop an hour later then told it would be 20 mins rang back and no answer money was not re embersed and food never arrived just to me until the shop was closed avoid at all costs

Avoid avoid. These guys used to be amazing but now they are a shadow of the former selves. The chicken taste horrendous, the menu prices were increased while the portions and quality went to hell. Never order from them anymore.

Avoid by all means . We went today to order in the shop for take away. We ordered a pizza of 14 inches £9.99 a shawarma wrap £4.50 Sish kebab grilled £12.50 What we received: pizza measured only 12 inches; Only chicken on it. No vegetables, no dip. The meat was dry and tasted like rubber. Shawarma: no salad , just a little bit of mayonnaise and same kind of dry meat with chemical taste. Sish kebab grilled was £12.50, literally just 5 small cubes of lamb meat in the thinnest wrap ever, about 2cm wide. £12.50.

It gives me great pleasure to help bring this place’s review score down. We have ordered from here many times but, much like other recent reviews, the food and service we experienced tonight has put us off ever returning to this place again: 2 hour wait, disinterested staff when phoned to chase food, portion size was pathetic and clearly a rush job (about a third the size of normal). Not worth either the wait or the money. There’s lots of competition out there so let’s hope Karma treats this place to the customer exodus it deserves.

Placed an order tonight, got a confirmation email, with a track your order. Tracked the order whilst food was being prepared. Rang up to get an order update. Apparently they have no record of it. Won't be ordering from here again 🤬.

Never order from this place, over 3 hrs and no food, customer service is abismal, they tell lies and are rude. If your going to use websites at least tell the truth and don't bloody lie.

It's fair to say that this is by far the worst takeaway service and food I have had. The delivery was over an hour late. Despite being told several times that our food was only 5 mins away from being delivered. When the food arrived it was cold. My girlfriend found a piece of kebab meat in a Prawn dish.

I ordered a delivery. Estimated delivery was between 9 and 9.30pm. After it didn't arrive by 10pm I rang. 10 phone calls later..After being told it was 10 minutes away..then 30 minutes away..to it'll be with you any second! 11pm and still no delivery! Food is usually great. But hour and a half wait and you cannot call the restaurant as it just rings out, I've read previous reviews who have also not been able to get in touch after waiting so long. Really disappointed.

The only Lebanese takeaway I have ever used, the food is fantastic and so well priced, excellent value, apart from that the guys are so friendly and have a good laugh with you, you will definitely not be disappointed

Waited forever and made a few calls to chase food only for it to arrive freezing cold, foil stuck to bottom of rock hard Parmo, mixed Shawarma looked like a jobby and tasted not much better. Ignorant staff who hang up on you three times!!! Just avoid this place is the pits and any positive reviews on here can only be more home made than the food was.....rank! Count themselves fortunate I don't return their food and see if they're brave enough to eat it.

This used to be a great place with great portions & lovely food & after our experience today it has gone from 100 to 1. Mixed grill costing £15 which from when we ordered took an hour & 45 mins to arrive. Food was dry, shrivelled & inedible. Chips were soggy. Portion was measly & when called for update to find out how long it would take for delivery after waiting one hour was met with shouting & abuse & told he would just cancel order to which I had to explain I only wanted to know how much longer as it had been an hour. Absolutely disgusting & disrespectful. Honestly people save your money & open a tin of soup you will enjoy it more.

First time ordering from here and I can definitely say we are not disapointed....Its FANTASTIC tbh. We got the munch box and a kiev pizza...faultless. All the meats were cooked to perfection. I highly recommend you try if you have not yet.

Love their shawarma. Really tasty, fresh food. Great kebabs and the red chilli sauce is so delicious! The place is under new ownership and the guys there are doing an amazing job! They deliver quite far as well - if you call them for takeaway they cover about 7 mile catchment area!

My order was over an hour late. Tried contacting the restaurant several times to get an update but line is constantly busy (probably off the hook for the amount of times I tried). Poor quality take out , meat was over cooked as was the pizza as well. The salad has to go straight into the bin it was rank. So glad I had a Uber east £15 off voucher as the I would of been foaming if I paid £20 + for that

Popped in off the street , on a saturday night, ordered the special mixed wrap, which is a good size portion for £4.90 maybe one of the best wraps i have ever had to be honest, only took 5 mins of waiting to recieve my food and i could clearly see they were busy with other orders, so overall it was good experience, losing one star only because there was a lot of shouting going on between staff members which is not the best enviorment to be sitting waiting for your food also i felt a little bit uncomfortable because they were shouting in a different langage than english. So i recommend order delieverys from these guys :)

Ordered food from this shop for delivery, (still not arrived over a hour and half later) when I rang to ask for an update the man on the phone didnt want to know about it, extremely sarcastic and rude. Certainly Will not be ordering from here again just down to the sheer lack of customer services, all I wanted to know how long my food will be and he didn't have the time of day, told me to ring the driver (which he didnt even know who the driver is, or a phone number so unless I could magic a number out of my a$# then I'm not entirely sure what he was trying to do). If you are not able to cope under stress and speak to your customers with manners then don't get a shop and offer delivery on a Friday night when everyone is starving. The man told me on the phone to not call him back so I feel too uncomfortable to even attempt to ring him back.

Arrived late so food was cold. Rang twice before ordering to ask if they could take a gluten free order and if the chips were gluten free, they said yes to both - ammended the order to specify which dish needed to be gluten free, yet they still sent it with pita bread, and they forgot to send the chips which we paid for in advance when we placed the order.

Ordered via the Uber Eats app at 6.10 food didn’t arrive until 8.20pm. The wraps were burnt and tasteless the lamb kebab was overcooked and dry the salad was a mush and the chilli and garlic sauces tasteless. Plus everything was cold. All in all very disappointing I certainly won’t be ordering again.

Esperé fuera de mi propiedad durante más de 2 horas y no se entregó nada, pero en la aplicación decía que la comida había sido entregada. Traté de contactar al restaurante y no contestaron el teléfono hasta las 5 de la tarde. El hombre del teléfono fue grosero y dijo que nunca había recibido la orden. Parece que hacen esto a menudo.

Food is usually okay but delivery took over 90 mins. Fell asleep cos it took so long. This time I ordered I I was too tired to even eat the food by the time it came. Food is alright but only order if you are happy to wait forever.

Used Uber eats and was advised order would arrive at 1915. Restaurant would not answer the phone when I rang at 2030 for an update. Repeatedly rang but to no avail. Money was taken for the order which never arrived. Had an email confirming delivery which just did not happen. Still unable to contact the restaurant. This is evidently a scam that the restaurant is running to take full payment for food and not deliver. Avoid this place like the plague.

I was feeling really hungry until a disgusting chichen kebab and a low quality pizza arrived. It is the first time that i am writting a review as when i just bite a piece i put everything back into the bag and threw it.

Absolutely shocking service! Ordered via deliveroo, waited over an hour and a half when asked we were told they had attempted delivery but were unsuccessful, which was incorrect, we were then told to contact the restaurant direct. Spoke to an extremely rude man who then informed me they don't deliver to my postcode, when asked why did they accept the order they shouted down the phone and hung up. We raised this Deliveroo who repeated that they had already attempted to deliver and it was my fault! After a lengthy and stressful conversation with the staff at Deliveroo, after originally saying they cannot refund any monies they reluctantly gave me a full refund. Having now read these reviews it appears to be a clear trend with this restaurant. Would avoid at all costs!

Ordered via Uber Eats and waited an hour and a half for delivery (and way past the expected delivery time). Called the restaurant to be answered by an angry sounding man answering just “Yes”. I politely asked when the delivery should be arriving to which he shouted down the phone (at someone else) to be told they don’t deliver to my area, it’s too far away! Waste of time. I also have the money pending to come off my bank account which I’ll need to wait up to five days to go back into my account, all for nothing! If I could leave zero stars I would. Twice now my order did not arrive. Today when I dared phone up to ask what time I should expect my order I was verbally abused. This "man" spoke to me in a way that I have never been spoken to in my life when I was nothing but respectful. Do not order from this business as this guy has zero respect for women.

Always good food and friendly staff. There's nothing I don't recommend. Portion sizes of shawarma mixed grills are quite big and the prices are fairly reasonable. I usually go in but had delivery once and it was nice to receive food on plates. Staff excellent. Try the mint salad, it's amazing.

We ordered from this takeout on the spur of the moment after driving past hungry for some lunch. We ordered 2 lamb kofta wraps, 1 chicken kofta wrap and the lamb shawarma plate with some cans of soft drinks. The portions were good with lots of salad and plenty of garlic yoghurt sauce. The food was flavourful and tasty and just what we needed after a long walk on the beach.

Order from here all the time since a friend recommended it. The food is always cooked freshly and always tastes great. The delivery service is always good and the drivers are lovely.

£30 spend for minimum delivery. Enormous amounts of food. But quality was dreadful. Dry and tasteless chicken shawarma. Mixed shawarma looked like dog food. Garlic sauce was just mayo. Hummus was meant to be flavoured with green chillis but was almost like child’s play dough in a plastic container. ‘Thin slices of roasted lamb’ = sawdust. Waste of time and money!

Tried and have been back too many times spending alot. Good food in general all fresh and mostly cooked well. Occasionally a little over done but delivered or collected fairly promptly. Tried pizzas, wraps and grills. Starters and desserts too.

Chicken tikka Pizza is gorgeous. I don't eat peppers n chili but wow. I live a while from the restaurant n it was still hot I defo recommend
