It’s an ok idea, pour your own beer, but we tried to get two half pints out of it and it was just froth for ages, the NEIPA and flowery pale ale, took many attempts to try to get two halves out of the self serve taps, seemed like the beer had been in the pipes for several days untouched. The barman was very nice and friendly, admitted he was just covering and holding the fort. Prices are good, £5 a pint regardless of style. Beer was ok tasting, but not cold enough for good craft beer. It’s got an idea, it’s quirky, odd and avant garde, but it needs to be clearer on what it’s doing, the many blackboards covered in writing confuse rather than clarify. When the Lyme Regis Brewery is just round the corner serving superb fresh beer poured by professionals, it’s hard to compete with.

Pour your own craft ale or select a bottle of craft ale. Wonderful cellar in unpretentious surroundings. Comfy sofas. Very friendly barman. 🇬🇧🇳🇿

Lovely place….quirky and fun. Pull your own pint and good selection of other drinks. Plus a Pac-Man machine, what more could you want!?

We stayed nearby and walked up the lane to the pub hoping for an evening meal, but it was all closed up and the garden was overgrown. Possibly it’s fallen victim to the lockdown? (The last review was February 2020.) It didn’t seem as if anyone was at home. A great shame for such an ancient establishment if it has gone to the wall. 😢

A reasonable country pub with a range of Palmers beers and a satisfactory menu. It was also reasonably priced.

Ria went above and beyond today to make us feel valued customers and made sure we had everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy the foods we bought. The selection of pastries, cakes we tried today are the best we have had from a bakery. Thankyou

This Costa, opposite the Dorchester Sth station, is one of the best, and best positioned, I have been in, worldwide. There are those which are less than perfect !

Attended for coffee only, to meet up with family. Friendly, helpful staff. Good atmosphere. Busy (Saturday morning).
