The best Fish and Chips I have ever had. I stopped eating fish and chips because other places cook it in old reused oil. However these guys keep everything clean and fresh, so the fish and chips tastes amazing!

My wonderful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ delivery 🚚 driver friend 🙎‍♂️from Sharkys also found England’s loss in that final frustrating. He expressed it in our chat today. I also share his frustration. It’s not the same to be runners up. You don’t get all the way to the final to be content with a runners up spot. You go all the way to win the tournament. The delivery man that works for Sharkys Almondbury should be getting a £20 an hour wage, what a man, what a lovely lovely individual. He possesses so much kindness, it’s unbelievable tbh just how kind he is. Thanks again for another free can of Dandelion & Burdock. The driver noticed that I’ve been ordering from the other Sharkys branch in the town centre. Yeah, it has the same name, but I didn’t know that it was a second branch, that was a pleasant surprise. Sharkys in Almonbury & in town RULE!

I came to almonbury with my friend and all the shops were closed only this one stayed open during the holidays, overall the food was very good and the people were kind, would recommend.

Delicious!! The portion of fish was lovely although the large chips weren’t as generous as we’d expected, based on the reviews. It was still just hot enough to eat, and the mushy peas were describing as being ‘just like my mum used to make’ by grandpa!! Praise indeed!! He ended up eating them straight out of the container so we wished that we had ordered more!!!

The super nice driver gave me a free can of dizzy drink - thank you for the very nice gesture. I really appreciate him. Out of all the places I order from on Just Eat this gentleman is probably the most kindest. All delivery people should be like this man. Polite, down to earth, service with a smile. He’s a credit to his business. I’d give him a pay rise if it was my choice!

First time ordering from here. Just moved to the area this fish and chip shop is amazing. The quality of the food is amazing. The portion sizes are large as well. You definitely get your moneys worth. The fish is very fresh tasty like you would expect from a seaside fish and chip shop. I would recommend this place to anyone. If I could give more than the five stars, then I would as this place is seriously the best chippy in Huddersfield.

Absolutely delicious from here, no wonder this place has such a high rating and such positive feedback and the delivery driver is a bundle of joy, he always asks how you are, he’s so friendly, you couldn’t ask for a more pleasant delivery man. This place puts Mr Chips a fish and chip shop in Dalton to shame, their food is such a greasy oily mess, if you want great service and great food avoid Mr Chips in the Dalton area and instead order from here, Sharkeys.
