Anello never disappoints! Every visit we're blown away by the fantastic selection of appetizers. Their pick of wines and craft beers always pair well. The service is stellar. Highly recommend! (Definitely book, they're popular 😉)

Lovely authentic Italian Pizza eatery. Really nice Pizzas cooked in a wood fired oven for all to see along with friendly and helpful staff.

Demi and the rest of the staff are wonderful!! We had the most lovely meal with four adults and a toddler. I didn’t get the name of the woman who sat us and took our order, but she was lovely and made special note that one of the pizzas needed to be not too charred (it came out perfectly). She also brought a highchair right over and some colouring. We were then looked after by Demi, who went above and beyond to be helpful. When our little one was suddenly ill she saw what was happening and came right over with cleaning supplies and a bowl. She even washed his bib for us. All without being asked. She’s a gem! The food was delicious and we will definitely be back!!! We honestly felt so well looked after. Well done Anello staff!!

Really great meal and lovely atmosphere. We arrived early, had a main meal and then was told we must hurry if we want a dessert as they needed the table. We felt very rushed and to say we only had a main meal we would have really struggled to have eaten 3 courses in the given time slot. I think longer time slots are needed.

I’d love to give this place five stars because the pizzas are great but the customer service isn’t. Ordered a pizza, went to collect, got home and realised it wasn’t what I ordered (no cheese), called up and was basically fobbed off and told it’s my fault because they’ve changed the menu.

The pizza and the aioli where the best I've ever had and I've eaten a lot of pizza.

Tried to eat here twice, first time waited 1 hour for food whilst dozens of pizzas went out the door for takeaway, gave it a second chance and table not available when arrived and looked like another 30 minutes before the table would come free, staff didn’t care or explain either time, won’t give them a third chance

Really fantastic restaurant! Pizza was simply one of the best I’ve had, really unique ingredient combinations and locally sourced ingredients used. You can tell by watching the kitchen staff work how much passion they have to deliver high quality, perfect food to their customers. This has to be now one of my favourite restaurants, looking forward to coming back to try some new dishes. Price was really reasonable for the quality of the food I highly recommend this place to anyone! Try it, you won’t be disappointed

Absolutely amazing pizza. I've been back several times and tried lots of different options and they're all amazing. Every time I've been I've felt kind of rushed by the staff though... the most recent time the waitress came to take our plates away before I'd even finished eating my last slice. I get that it's busy and you want the table turned around ASAP for the next sitting but... please don't make it so obvious? Or make sittings a bit longer? I always feel a bit like I can't savour the experience. And this is pizza to be savoured!!

Have to agree with every other review - this place is amazing! The pizza was fantastic but really the star of the show was the small plates. Deep fried olives (genius invention), porchetta, all delicious and something unique compared to the typical starters you can get anywhere. We had 3 small plates and a pizza between us as well as a glass of wine and a mocktail, it was £40! Incredible value for food this good.

Best pizza in the Huddersfield area hands down! If you haven’t tried Anello you need to. The pizzas are really yummy. If you love Neapolitan pizza, this place is for you.

Strange experience, which only lasted 2 minutes. We walked in as they were open and were at no more than 30% occupancy at 3pm. There were 4 of us, but we were asked if we wanted a table for 2. Having said we wanted 4, we were asked for a name. 2 mins later having taken a while to check their tablet, asked if we have a booking and upon no given a fake smile that they're fully booked. Just a bit weird. Surely ask upfront if we have a booking, if you somehow have 100% of your tables booked up for the next hour, but hardly any currently occupied. Either we've stumbled across the hottest restaurant in the whole of West Yorkshire that can't believe someone would dare to walk in without a booking, or they're a bit up themselves.

Must be up there with one of the best restaurants in Huddersfield. The pizzas are just the same as I’ve had in Naples and the attention to detail with every ingredient on each dish in the ever changing starters is so good. Great flavour combinations and traditional Italian cooking (homemade cured meats etc) but using local fresh Yorkshire produce. The place is warm, the decor is lovely with really nice local art work on show. The staff are top-drawer, perfect balance of attentive but really relaxed and make you feel at ease. Just a great space to spend an afternoon/evening in. Congrats on making such a beautiful space guys! See you again soon!

Anello baked amazing pizzas. The service was quick. The pizzas were at your table before you knew it. All the ingredients were top notch. The restaurant was family friendly, lots of young family's whist still having a good atmosphere. *Edit: Iv been back a few times since the first review, its now my favorite place for pizza.

The food is great, it was my first time trying this place and I really enjoyed all the food we had.

Very nice authentic pizzas, cooked to perfection. Got recommended to try here various times but due to the travel I'd have to make it took me a while. I'm glad I finally got round to it as the food here is spot on. The service was consistently quick and polite. The ingredients were all fresh and tasty. The surrounding environment is spaced out enough but you still can converse with anyone you're with. Overall just a very pleasant place to eat, I'll be returning soon!

Had an amazing birthday meal at Anellos, we had the deep fried olives and croquettes plus a selection of pizzas, all delicious. Great service and value, will be back again! Thank you!

I've been here several times now and I have to say that it's the best pizza I've had outside Naples. Whoever runs this place clearly has a good knowledge of their food (Italian wild broccoli) and how to cook it. Service never less than excellent, easy to book online and prices reasonable. Our go to for proper pizza in West Yorkshire.

The fact that the photos I've shared here represent a mere fraction of the number of times I've visited says it all really... Authentic Neopolitan pizza, reasonably priced and with a seasonally rotating menu of locally-sourced toppings and small plates. Options to collect for takeaway or sit in the lovely dining area centred around a wood-fired oven - plan and book ahead for both as this place is very popular locally and beyond! Service is fast and cheerful, and Anello provides the perfect setting for anything from date nights to celebrations to family lunch. I can't overstate how much of a gem this place is - stop reading this and get booked in ASAP!

These pizzas take me back to Italy. THE best pizza I have eaten in the UK. It was a perfect base and crust, packed with flavour, we also ordered a side of the aioli and this was just delicious. I finished with affogato (ice cream with a shot of espresso) and even that was delicious and the little jug the coffee came in just added to the experience. Can't wait to go back here.

Truly amazing pizza with a side benefit of an excellent house red. Also most excellent was the freshly made donuts and in house made ice-cream. Booking early would be essential though and parking can be a little of a challenge.

Nice place, friendly staff and tasty pizzas. Most authentic Napoli style pizza in Huddersfield certainly and taste very good but for me the base is a little too thin, needs to be a little thicker and chewier. Pizza has gone cold before you finish eating it. Value is ok if you get a pizza and a soft drink but go for a family meal, starters, drinks etc. and the price absolutely sky rockets.

Was really looking forward to our meal here as was a goodbyes meal for m6 child going to uni, booked asked for access as I’m in a wheelchair user and asked if they could cater for my vegan gf diet. We hadn’t heard anything so chanced attending (looked at menu with did indicate vegan dish ). No wheelchair access which the waitress apologised saying they had a ramp but hadn’t read our requests fir access or meal. There wasn’t anything I could eat, no gf ( I’m celiac) so rather than spoil the meal i asked for a salad which is all they could offer. I spoke to two members staff in detail for them to make me something with ingredients they already had, mushrooms, broccoli, tomatoes, olives, onion, to put in the salad to make it a main meal. I waitress really struggled with this concept so I asked her to ask the chef to make me something up, I stated I didn’t want a bowl of salad leaves. I received a bowl of leave smothered in oil with tomatoes and onion. Waitress asked if this was ok which I told her it wasn’t what I expected….I had to leave it at that while my family ate pizza . To be fair there’s was lovely. For such a nice restaurant I cannot be but disappointed that the chef could not throw together a decent plate of food from what they had. Don’t go to this restaurant if you have dietary issues….they cannot accommodate and are not flexible. Do go if you like pizza, the family enjoyed theres.

Incredible. The lamb, anchovy, aioli and salsa verde small plate was delicious. So was the plate of greens - a description that doesn’t do justice to how nice it was! Pizzas sublime - beautifully textured dough, top quality ingredients, enormous. Great craft beers and wines on (I had one of each). Service lovely - friendly, relaxed and open to requests (I wanted tomato on what was a white pizza on the menu and was worried they’d take offence but I needn’t have stressed!) Very good home made ice cream. The space is beautiful. Prices really reasonable for the quality. Already looking forward to going back.

Well what can I say, the best pizza me and my husband have had in this country, as close to the real thing you can get. My husband spent alot of time growing up in Italy as his Grandma is Italian so he know's his pizza. We have struggled to find anywhere that does it anywhere as near as good as the real thing and then we stumbled upon this little gem of a place. For anyone that wants authentic italian pizza then this is the place, we shall be back again next month for our wedding anniversary, we would rather have amazing pizza at a down to earth establishment than a posh meal in a restaurant feeling out of place. Love it, keep up the amazing work xx

No doubt good pizza, but almost impossible to order one for a collection. Always told the ' Collection slots" are taken, and that they only offer a limited number of ' collection slots'. What a load of rubbish, you are selling pizza from a shop, not flying a spaceship. Your pizza is good, but not that good to turn away customer due to a rather odd pizza collection strategy. I wont phone again.

Edited this review to up the star rating from 3 due to to much olive oil on the pizza to now a 5 star as I decided to give them another chance this weekend and went for a meal and they have sorted this issue and am more than happy to change my star rating well deserved as well I had a wonderful meal in a great setting and service will definitely be returning.👍👍👍👍👍

Very enjoyable experience, ultra modern Pizza restaurant. Great selection of large (14") oven baked pizza's with great selection of starters... modern decor, nice ambience and music, family outings 👪 would love it. Nice selection of drinks and wine by the glass or bottle if your children have driven you to a bottle 😆

We went for a belated Fathers Day dinner and we were sooo happy we did. Warm service, cool atmosphere, and delicious food at a reasonable price. We had arancini, pizza, salads and affogatos and everything was fresh and made with care. My dad has very high standards when eating out and loves Italy and even he was raving about it. We’ll be back soon!

I have eaten at several pizzerias in Naples and down the Amalfi Coast at Sorrento and Positano. This is the second best pizza I've had in my life - second only to a place in Sorrento. Hands down, best pizza I've had in the UK. I had the chestnut mushroom pizza here. Excellent flavours, beautifully thin base and crust fresh from the fires. The service was top notch and the food came very quickly. If you're doubting this place, forget them. Throw your doubts in the bin and book. You don't know it yet, but you'll be sorely disappointed if you don't.

What a present surprise. As a person who loves great food I need to emphasis that this was the best pizza that I had in UK, and as a person who lived in London for 15 year and tried hundreds of pizza places ,I can say that competition is lacking. As a person who visited Italy plenty of time and lived most of my life in Italys neighbouring countries I can only say that there are not many places that can serve you with such a delicious dish. What a lovely place to stumble upon. . Loved the simplicity of the interior -small, relaxed atmosphere and the different array of plants. Was so hungry that I failed to take a picture but the pizza was amazing...stonebaked, tasty and authentic. A nice touch with the fermented chilli🌶 to personalise my taste. This place is a little gem....I didn't feel like I was in Slaithwaite for the time spent here. semplicemente bellissima 🤩

Wow. Right up there with the best pizzas I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot of pizzas.. Within a few minutes of arriving we had a baby high chair, dog water bowl, table water and drinks order taken. Top notch customer service and super friendly. Thanks folks! New favourite restaurant, we’ll definitely be back soon.

Absolutely loved it. Pizza (and the rest of the food) is divine, staff were really lovely and accommodating (even with 2 noisy toddlers in our party and 2 extras added on last minute). Beer and wine selection isn't massive but it's all local and very nice. Can't wait to go back!

First time visiting Huddersfield and my brother and his girlfriend took me and the family for dinner. Food was incredible and service was warm and friendly, the N'duja pizza, hands down was a winner. Will definitely visit again should I come to the area again

We made the trip on a rainy Sunday afternoon, we will always travel for excellent food and we were not disappointed. Clean , crisp delicious starters , just the right size to whet the appetite, preparing us for the delectable pizzas. Mouth watering pizza , I had Yorkshire ham & red onion , Mrs T the pepperoni, all savoured. We still managed to devour the chocolate and hazelnut tart 😋

Went on a Sunday afternoon, great pizza, service and atmosphere. Pizza base is really nice and fair choice of toppings (which change periodically I think) beer on tap too, although very expensive, over £4 and only 2/3 of a pint.

We had a take away this evening. The chard and olive pizza. It was one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten! These are as good as the ones you get in Italy. Highly recommended.
