The serving staff are extremely nice and helpful. Food is absolutely excellent as well. Had a burger that was cooked to perfection. The brownie was moist and super chocolatey. We will come back again!

We had 3 small tapas plates, which were delicious and great service from the young gentleman. Visted Tuesday lunchtime. We booked in advance for low tables. They do have a lot of high seating tables, too. Lovley atmosphere

Had 3 of the tapas dishes and some fries. It's a shame the fries were the star of the show. The chicken was cold the steak rather than medium well was next to rare, and cold I gave up after that the only thing I recall of the 3rd dish was it was cold as well. Very dissapointing I suspect the table size of 9 must have thrown the kitchen off

We had a beautiful meal on a summer's evening. Service was quick and the food was good. We sat outside and it was pleasant.

I ordered the margarita pizza but had to add pepperonis as an extra because there isnt an option to order a pepperoni pizza. But other than that the pizza was gorgeous and fresh. I have been trying a few places to find a realy nice pizza and honestly this is the best one i have had in my life

I recently had lunch at Harvey's Bar & Restaurant and it was fantastic. The weather was gorgeous, so we sat outside, enjoying the pleasant atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel very welcome. The food was delicious with plenty of options, and the drink selection was impressive. Overall, a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended!

Always an amazing experience to dine in/ takeout at Harvey’s. Food is consistently amazing quality and fresh. The restaurant itself is nice to dine in both inside and out and is very clean. Will always choose to come back, my favourite place to dine in Huddersfield. Only slight negative would be that parking is limited making it harder for assess especially if you are blue badge owner.

Arranged to meet a work colleague , I stay in the Las Vegas of the North , Blackpool and she travelled up from Digby. I’d looked on line for somewhere half way and found this little gem . The reviews prior to our visit were really good and looking at the menu we decided to get it booked and meet up. No dramas booking on line. Arrived in plenty of time and the staff got us menus with lunch specials and the mains and drinks whilst we looked through the menus . It took us an age to decide as there was that much choice and people were ordering around us and we were getting food envy , everyone the staff bought something else out from the kitchen. We eventually went for dough balls and chicken Goujons starters. We shared as they were to good to keep to ourselves . For the mains we both had the hanging chicken kebabs, one chilli and one garlic . You could select what fries you wanted with it and came with pitta and sauces. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better , we checked out the desserts and even tho there was plenty of selection , we both went for biscof cheescake , which I can only say was , life changing . We came here for a friend’s birthday on Tuesday 2nd July! We were a party of 14 including 2 young children. Our waitress Jess was an absolute star! She was so attentive, polite & overall fantastic. She is a true asset to the Harveys Team, we can’t thank her enough for looking after us!

Had a great atmospheric feel as you entered the restaurant. Friendly efficient service. Rarely have steaks in the uk cos invariably disappointed. Not the case here. Utterly wonderful perfectly cooked and reasonably priced. Everyone else said similar about their food. This place is very popular and can definitely see why

Brandon is the most loveliest, friendly, helpful, down to earth young man who is so enthusiastic about his job. It is SO lovely to see someone so happy within their job role. Our experience at Harveys felt so relaxed due to how helpful and friendly Brandon was.

Very overpriced for what you get, £13.00 for a cheeseburger really? This place is already making losses as i checked on companies house so why this company have kept the overpriced food and not reduced it is beyond me. Its a shame as it will only lead to no custom

Perfect just perfect. It was a fantastic birthday treat. Beautiful burgers and chips. Really tasty. THE best burger I have ever had. Can't get over it. Hot and came right on time.

We booked the Courtyard for a hen party. We dealt with Georgia who was really helpful and gave great advice on food, drinks packages etc. She was also there to meet us and set up and communication just great. The place was spotlessly clean and the food was delicious, perfect buffet choices. Special mention also to Miles and Kate who were our bar staff, they were great at their jobs. Nothing was too much trouble and they helped everyone enjoy their cocktail making and their day, 10/10 for them We had a table reserved in the bar area for later and we had the most amazing afternoon and evening Live performer who had everyone singing and dancing. Really friendly atmosphere and vibe Perfect for a private party for a group of friends Thank you to everyone at harveys for making our day just perfect

Food although late even though I’d ordered an hour in advance, was exceptional quality, we had the double cheeseburger with the real chips ,well packaged. Would definitely order again

Delicious! I ordered the lemon and garlic chicken kebab with chunky chips, which came with sides of hummus, tzatziki and a crunchy rocket leaf side salad. I also ordered a side of coleslaw. The kebab arrived steaming hot and the salad was cool and crispy. It was all very tasty, restaurant quality and healthy vs your average greasy/salty takeaway, so well worth the slightly more expensive price point. It arrived quickly too and there was more food than I could eat myself, so shared with my partner, who hadn’t been hungry until he saw how good it was! Highly recommended :)

Absolutely nom nom nom! Excellent service from very welcoming staff - no matter what we asked for we always felt like the focus and prioirty of member of staff serving us. Now, the food! I highly recommend the hanging kebabs for size and flavour - only order if you're hungry. It is not a snack.

First thing we noticed were the lovely welcoming staff who made us feel comfortable with our baby being there and second was the food... yum.

This is our first visit to Harvey's. We had no table reserved but the young man greeted me and nothing was too much trouble or more important than to find a table for me and my family. We opted for Sunday Roast chicken and beef. mash, roasties, roast carrots, roast parsnips, green beans, cabbage, broccoli, yorkshire pudding and we opted to pay extra for cauliflower cheese as well. Sticky toffee pudding for afterwards was yummy ! Ossett brewery Yorkshire Blonde was perfect to accompany ! Lovely meal. We will return. Thankyou.

A large group of us attended before Christmas and wow what a wonderful dining experience it was. We had pre-ordered food and had zero issues on the night. The service was prompt and polite, the food was delicious and drinks were flowing! Very successful night for us, thanks again. I personally ordered a hanging kebab which was delicious and enjoyed a cheesecake for dessert. Cocktails were delicious too. No complaints!

No beer, plenty of lager but no beer - not even Newcastle brown or draft Guinness - VERY expensive, staff surly, busy talking to each other, don't smile, don't know about what they sell.

I came here for a family meal for my birthday and it was brilliant. The staff were very attentive and went above and beyond to make it special and seamless. The look of the Restaurant is nicley done. The Service been overwhelmed. The Food been OK there been missing the authenic, what will say "yes this is Harvey's". The Burger tasted like everywhere else. Not nicley presented just on the plate thats it. For the price what u charge not good enough. Drink prices are to high. Sorry guys got my own Restaurant with Burgers.

First time for me family taking me out for my birthday. Unfortunately it was not a good experience for me or my wife . My wife had chicken Sunday roast the roast potatoes were like concrete blocks and the chicken was a leg on the bone that wasn't cooked through symanela comes to mind ? I elected to have hanging chicken kebab unfortunately mine must have been hanging for over a week as it was very dry and hard to chew. We have all heard the saying you should have gone to Specsavers. Well we should have gone to Mc Donald's. Never mind we still Alive say no more.

Really enjoyed my lunch here with friends. Can get very busy here even midweek so you may want to book to avoid disappointment. Loved the decor and copper. Very friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous burger, lovely chunky chips, belly pork was perfectly cooked. Everything we had was very tasty and I would have again. On the expensive side but nice for a treat.

The place itself is bright and airy but the decor clashed, probably designed by committee. Lots of staff on which makes it extra puzzling why we were only served our main course at 15:00 having arrived promptly for our table at 13:30. Staff were slow to take orders, and seemed to wait until we'd finished our starters before cooking the main course. The food itself was ok, nothing special, but kudos for offering gluten free versions of many of the dishes. Overall 3 stars feels about right

Food was well prepared and nice. Mocktails were the best I've ever had. It's was very noisy, was a Saturday so was expected but made it difficult to talk. Service was a little slow but again expected. Our receipt was wrong but this was sorted quickly.

It's fine here but I don't get what all the fuss is about. The food is ok but nothing outstanding and perhaps I'm just too old but Weds night and it was so loud we couldn't hear each other. Since we'd gone out for a girly catch up this wasn't a bonus!!

DO NOT PARK AT THE BACK OF THE CAR PARK.....I PARKED NEAR THE FIRE ESCAPE AT THE BACK OF THE CAR PARK. AFTER LEAVING I NOTICED MY CAR (6 months old BMW 745E) was covered in cooking oil from the extraction fan. I called twice and no call back. Has since cost me 200 to Claybar and detail the car back to how it was. Shocking service

Came here for Sunday lunch for three of us. Mashed potatoes were powered potato and horrid! Also what happened to the service in the board and all the tasty roasted vegetables? The plates had lots of cabbage piled high and the beef was very very rare. Didn't think it was value for money at all however three stars as the staff were very friendly and service was great!

Quality food and relaxing atmosphere

This evening had the Plant Power pizza and fries (vegan) whilst the boyfriend had the tomato/garlic bread starter and 3 tapas for £18. All the food was amazing, really enjoyed it. And the staff were very friendly from start to finish, with a special mention to Neve who looked after us extremely well the whole way through our experience.

Really annoyed at this experience here . Food came and was like warm at a push . My wife persisted with her burger but mine had to go back . She had finished hers and I was still waiting for mine . Anyway they couldn’t have resolved it any better . Knocked money off for the drink and just charged for the food . Young lad who dealt with it was very nice too .

Food great, service not so great. Menu's not offered, had to get them from service table ourselves 20 minutes after seating. Had to call waitress to order food. Ordered extra drinks and after 10 mins had to ask waitress what had happened to them. It was busy but seeing staff behind the bar chatting whilst waiting for menu's disappointing.
