Shapla Tandoori in Medway

Just moved in the area and found Shapla so we thought we would give it a try, ordered the Tandoori Mixed Grill and the Shashlik along with Chicken Jal-Jal etc the food was absolutely delicious everyone in the family enjoyed the food. Thank you Shapla, we will be using you for our next takeaway.

Always been our go to takeaway Indian Restaurant. Always fantastic, but last night was even better than normal. Delivered early, piping hot, lovely delivery driver and the food was sublime. Keep up the great work!

Nice food and delivery took less than an hour. Lamb Balti was tasty as was the lamb chops, can recommend both!

We had the most wonderful Indian from Shapla this evening. It was our first time ordering from here but the food was so reasonable and delicious we will definitely order again.

Usually love the food from here but unfortunately tonight was not the case. Ordered Lamb Tikka Rogan Josh. It was so salty and pretty much inedible. Massively Disappointed.

Excellent food but they were really busy so the food was late. Quality of the food was worth the wait though.

Food was cold curry was watery and tasteless not Madras as requested chicken was hard over cooked or re cooked onion baja was hard half a popadom missing

We used to order from here regularly. However lately it’s gone a bit downhill. Less meat in the curry (if they even get that right) no more free popadoms either. If you are unlucky to get the female taking your order she will try to charge you extra if you want it to be even a little spicier than on the menu. Sadly it’s time for us to look for a new Indian takeaway.

First time ordering here, will definitely be ordering again. Food was hot, tasty, reasonably priced and decent sized portions.

Order arrived early. The Lamb Tikka Dopiaza I ordered was one of the best Indian dishes I've ever tasted. Outstanding!

Great food as usual, our favourite place for a good takeaway curry.

This restaurant is consistently delicious on every dish we get. We’ve recommended them countless times to anyone we can because they are such a high standard of take away. Staff always pleasant, prices are valuable for portion sizes and they know how to provide lots of flavour and don’t rely on heat to create a good dish. Although they still pack a punch. You won’t be disappointed. Our household recommend the chicken pakora we order it every time it’s delicious and no where else does it half as good.

Only Indian I use spot on every time

Not good, delivery was over an hour late, missing item and chicken chewy. Normally our go to Indian but overall very poor tonight.

Over 2 hours from placing the order until it was delivered and that included 2 calls to the restaurant before it arrived.

Quite Long wait after order placed (1 & half hours ) but delivered in time slot advised ,Tasty ,fresh food would use again :)

Food tasted nice. Was a bit cold though, due to late delivery I will assume. One of the chicken tikka masalas was watery.

We’ve used this take away for a long time, granted we haven’t had it for a while but tonight’s dinner was a major disappointment, the curry was just like garlic oil and the meat was all fat

Terrible. Over an hour late. Curries were clearly reheated. Chicken, prawn and lamb dish dry as someone's flipflop. What a waste a £40. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

Food lacked seasoning, very bland and the chicken was like rubber.

The quality of the food takes away the fact it was late. It was also a large order. Delicious food and plenty of it. Has used these a few times now and the quality of food does not disappoint. Excellent 😀

Sadly, second order in succession that has been late without warning. Food arrived cold, missing chutney and was lacking the standards we usually enjoy.

We order from here quite often and usually the food is pretty nice. Today the curry’s we had were very watery and the rice was almost like plastic, not the usual quality that we are used to. Hopefully just a one off.

The food here is consistently good, the staff are friendly and polite. The delivery times are appalling but we now go and collect it rather than wait the 90minutes for delivery.

Although my delivery was late, I was very pleased that the restaurant had the courtesy to text me and let me know so I wasn't left wondering. I have lived in the area for 2 yrs and struggled to find an Indian takeaway whose services I would be happy to use again, but I think my search has ended. When ordering from a takeaway for the first time I always stick with my favourite (Dhansak) so I can make comparisons and this was the best I have had since moving to Kent. Thank you

I’ve ordered a few times from this restaurant. Delivery time provided is usually accurate. Tasty food, I really liked their lamb passanda.

We have tried so many places in Strood for a curry and I must admit Shapla is probably the best one! I have ordered from Shapla quite a few times now and every time the food has been lovely, 9 times out of 10 it is early on delivery and we have never had a problem in regards to incorrect order. Highly recommend
