Shangrila Kitchen in Brent

This is my third time ordering from Shangrila Kitchen and I cannot recommend them enough. Their food is delicious, fresh, well seasoned and has a kick of authenticity that can be hard to find from a takeaway, and the portion size is very generous. They always deliver quickly and the takeaway guys are so polite. 5*****

With the reviews we saw we were expecting really good food. It was just bland. The popadoms were overly salty too. Luckily the peshwari main was good

Not enough chicken in the Korma & the pieces that were there were quite dry.

The potatoes were undercooked, the curries were tasteless (and both tasted the same) and the Partha was dry. Overall disappointing takeaway and wouldn't order again

Came relatively quickly but the food was awful!!

Perswhari nan was burnt. 25% discount great but did this mean my portions were 25% smaller. Veg korma was poor value for money. All that was nice chicken momo which son likes and my garlic mushroom

Por alguna razón que eran las únicas personas allí, no me lo podía creer! La calidad de la comida solo debe asegurar el lugar está lleno todo el tiempo.

Good God slow delivery....1 paratha missing

We had to wait for over 2 hours to receive the food. The excuse was that they were too busy. If they're that busy they should never have accepted the order in the first place or appeared offline. What people would do for an extra bit of cash! And even after the long wait, the food was below mediocre. Would never ever recommend.

Great quality food, lots of meat but found the Madras rather lacking heat.

The food was really fresh and tasty! King prawn puri was amazing, definitely want to try out the restaurant!

slightly on the late side, and rather runny curries. the chicken dansak was quite odd looking. Nothing awful, just nothing great either

King prawn curry had about 5 prawns and they were tiny Chicken tikka had 5 little piece of chicken The dishes were just sauce basically Rice was nice and got some free popadoms

Tenía una entrega en casa de estos chicos así que decidimos probar el restaurante. No podía creer que era el mismo lugar. Esperamos una hora y media para nuestra comida ... sólo otra mesa ocupada. Cuando llegamos estaba tibia, gloopy, sin sabor y muy poco atractiva. Habíamos pedido una simple arroz y en vez de arroz teñidos rosa y verde. Nos insta a comer, ya que fue el "caro nos dijeron los ingredientes" y que la simple arroz sin tomar un tiempo para cocinar. Decidimos hacer sin que el resto de la comida ya estaba casi frío. Pregunté si había problemas en la cocina esta noche y me dijeron que no, que estaban a tope! Very poor. Waited well over an hour and got a lukewarm curry that didn't taste very nice, with very little chicken in it.

Food was well over an hour late, when it came it was cold and had to reheat in the microwave. Won't be ordering again.

The food was good as always but the quality deteriorated a bit. The quantity of sides has also been reduced. 12.95 for a small portion of mix grill don't think it was worth it. the butter chicken, was good but not like the original, too much colour and artificial flavouring. Hopefully next time it will be better.

Amazing customer service and fantastic tasting food!

Este lugar ofrece comida casera que se siente, con especias verdaderamente difieren entre platos. Tanto como me encanta la comida india, muchos restaurantes sirven comida que se siente prefabricada. Para empezar, nos trajeron papadoom con encurtidos diferentes, muy bonito. Hay varios platos paneer (una gran ventaja en mi opinión) y probamos paneer de Shahslik que era excelente. Los platos estaban muy bien. Allí los postres no estaban en el menú, así que les pedimos! Buen servicio, restaurante limpio, muy buena relación calidad-precio, muy recomendado!

Order placed at 7:45pm, received confirmation of delivery by 8:45pm. Phoned at 9.35pm to be lied to and told that order was accepted for delivery by 9:55pm!!! Delivery came at 9:45pm and the sheepish restaurant employee didn't accept my offer to show him the confirmation. But that wasn't the worst part. We ordered 2 mild dishes - partner doesn't like hot - and got biryani specifically to request the vegetable curry accompanying it be made vindaloo hot (for me, it's not an Indian unless I have a spicy dish) and the request was ignored. We do the same thing from every other Indian that delivers to us, none of about 15 of them have failed to read the request and meet the customer request. Until now! Poor, poor, poor service. £38 wasted! Very disappointed! No offer to make right and not an even a free poppadum.

The food arrived hot and superquick. Each dish is prepared with such a depth of flavour, without being greasy. You can taste each ingredient and it's clear it's done fresh and of high quality. Service was friendly and fast, definitely recommended.

Very good food the momos are one of the best i have ever had, the Kathmandu dal is a real treat. the biryani was really dry, the curry along with the biryani was delicious a definate good take away for me.

Order arrived a little bit earlier than estimated and a person who was delivering my food was very friendly. For my taste Panir Pasanda could be more spicy and less greasy (this is why I am not giving 6 stars out of 6), but the cheese itself was very nice. Also the portion was quite big so I couldn't finish it by myself. : ) Naan bread was absolutely delicious! Thanks

Este es otro gran lugar nos pareció que sirve deliciosa cocina india y Nepal, cuando estuvimos en Londres. Me pareció que el personal es muy amable. Hace poco empezaron a este restaurante, la calidad de la comida que sirven es simplemente increíble. He pagado mucho más dinero en algún otro restaurante de lujo pero nunca este tipo de comida de calidad. Precio es muy asequible, si realmente buscan un lugar agradable para comer por la zona, recomendaría este lugar, no te pierdas

We decided to try something different tonight and we had Nepalese for the first time. We had the Shangrila Special and the Kathmandu Dal and both were delicious. The delivery guy was also very friendly. We definitely recommend!!!

Really unimpressed with the food. Will never buy from here again. The naan breads were so burnt they were inedible, 1 of the currys was bland and watery and the poppadoms stale. Was all thrown in the bin.

The momos were yummy. Had to wait an exrra 15 mins for food to be delivered but the person who delivered apologised and explained why they took longer delivering which was appreciated.

Quite easily, the worst delivery experience ever. The first time we ordered from here, we ordered two separate dishes and got the same dish twice (one of which was advertised as special and charged extra). We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again. This time, the food did not arrive for 2 hrs. When we called them up, we were told the driver is around the corner and will be there within a minute. Needless to say, there was no driver. The same scenario happened two more times ( in the next half an hour) before we insisted that we speak to the driver. When we finally reached the driver, we were told that they are having a very busy evening and we will have to wait longer. Bad food and a terrible customer experience. Making your customers wait for an hour while claiming that the driver is just a minute away will not get you anywhere.

A new restaurant with good reviews so I thought I'd give it a go. Maybe they were having an off night but it was the worst takeaway experience I've had in years. The £10 lamb biriani had just 2 tiny cubes of lamb in it, both about the size of a dice. The "tarka dal" was some unidentifiable stew mostly made out of kidney beans! And the delivery driver didn't have any change so I had to tip him £5 instead of the £3 tip I was already giving him. Other people seem to have had a good experience but I can't recommend this restaurant.

Nice meal and friendly service, they'd thrown in some poppadoms and a beer which was sweet! Liked that they had a few unusual veggie options, the paneer was great but the dal was pretty oily and the toros quite tough once they'd gone cold, but overall was happy and would use again
