I can not fault this place at all! it really is the best Chinese myself and my partner have had in years!! Ordered again and I’m so excited to receive it 🥲 we have sweet-and-sour chicken balls shredded crispy honey chilli chicken salt and pepper chips and egg fried rice YUMMY 🤤 the lady who takes the telephone calls seems so lively and patient also! Thanks 🙏 our new regular, & we’re happy about having somewhere to order a Chinese from now without disappointment x

I phoned to order delivery for the first time. I was greeted on the phone by a polite and helpful lady. The food came earlier than expected, it was all really lovely and at such a good price! And the lady who delivered it was so lovely and polite too. Can’t fault anything, will definitely be ordering from here again. Thank you!

Had food a few times recently and changing my review as food as been cold when delivered and a bit disappointed in a few dishes sent not up to standard ☹️

I ordered a chicken curry extra hot with chips, rice, Prawn toast, and chicken szenchuan and they didn't give me a chicken curry extra hot, all I got was curry sauce instead, I would not recommend this place to anyone because I won't be ordering from Shanghai Palace again

I was recommended by friend about this new ownership Chinese. We had such a lovely food was amazing. Portion sizes were great reasonable prices.

Not long moved 2 area tried other Chinese takeaways I had given up on having something even decent but Shanghai is the best by a million miles. Iam in the food trade and very choosy but this place is very good big thank you to Shanghai keep up the good work

Won't be ordering again from here. The delivery was quick but their curry is revolting or should i say beef water cause thats what it was no taste what so ever and no curry. Its a shame cause the rice and chips were nice .

Extremely disappointed in this chinese, very rude owner and son when my husband merely questioned the price difference in the same order we had last week. Was met with aggression and treated his female staff with disgrace. Will never use again.

Chinese and Cantonese are my fav takeaway foods to have. I've always had the same items since I was a child. Curry dishes, fried rice dishes and spar ribs,. I don't mind a chow main and noodles but curry will always be my fav, now I've just had a beef curry for the first time from this takeaway and it was really nice, not to hot in spice, but it is there, just right if u ask me, it even comes with mushrooms and peas in it where alot of take away have stopped this practice even though it was the Norman yrs ago and I've missed it, so this was a good surprise. Only thing I will say it the delivery price is double than most take aways it's £3 well that's what I was charged and I live in same town where all others I've tried are £1.50 no more. Food was really tasty and cooked properly not over or under perfect. Thank u

1 and a half hours wait and multiple phone calls later I cancelled the order. Used them before and the food is 'ok' but certainly not worth wait in all night for. I won't be using them again

1 hour and 20 mins for honestly the most disgusting Chinese takeaway I've had I've had warmer Food out of the freezer no taste to the watery curry sauce,chicken sweet an sour was soggy an under cooked.oh an they got order wrong! I only live 10 mins down Rd, DISGUSTED
