Friendly accommodating staff superb food great surroundings highly recommend a visit

Awesome pub good food and play area ( swings ,slide,table tennis) ,not often you can find pubs with play area so well done

Went last night with a Large group, the drink i got was like water and the glass was dirty. I ordered food, and that came quick, but although the food was really nice , i thought the portions were on the poor side for what i paid. I barely got any chips, like less than a handful of the chunky chips if that, little side of beans were forgotten but when they did come out i may as well have not bothered, there was just 2 spoonful's of baked beans in a tiny little ceramic pot. And topped with vinegar. However The ice cream explosion pudding was absolutely beautiful. Please up your portions

Awful food. Pre packaged and microwaved. Lasagne could have been used by Goodyear for new tyres and even rabbits wouldn't touch the salad that was obviously done yesterday.

A cracking meal here with great drinks and fantastic staff. All very welcoming and even a game of table tennis too. Hope to be back on another work trip!

Excellent- food was good not massive portions though plenty. Actual tasty real food ive paid much more for much worse food. Good selection of beer on friendly staff nice atmosphere play area . Rooms to stay. Nicely decorated. Loads of parking. Sit down order and and pay at the bar food came out very quick and was hot.

I recently went here as a birthday gift and the food was exceptional. For starters I had the Louisiana styled chicken strips with Chipotle dip which were delicious. Second I had a Louisiana styled chicken burger with chips which exceeded my expectations. For dessert I had a kinder waffle which was quite filling with a hot chocolate with marshmallows. Overall the pub was very nice and I will hopefully come here again.

We ate here on father's day (for my partners' birthday). It was a lovely, clean, friendly pub. Only thing was we couldn't find a menu online before we went. The menu was OK. Food was really good. We had young children with us & they both enjoyed it too. Would recommend going here for any occasion.

I have ordered Wexford chicken with an incredible mushroom sauce 😋 woho that was just perfecto ,and really must mention chips, I'm not a fun of chips, but those ones were just amazing 😋😋😋 Definitely a place to come back 😀 My picture doesn't give the justice but really this sauce is something you must try 😍

I have visited this pub and eaten in it on numerous occasions. There is a large car park on the front together with outside dining. On entering, there are several seating areas allowing for an intimate meal, or larger family meals. The pub is dog friendly and this option is taken up by the locals. Staff at the pub are friendly and the orders soon arrive. Meals are reasonably priced with a menu board on the side giving further options. A popular pub with a good selection of beer. The only downside to this pub is that the ceiling is high which makes the acoustics poor.

Went bank holiday Monday. Would have been 5 stars however the service really let it down. We were told 40 minutes wait on food which was fine. After 1 hour 10 mins chased up lack of food to be told wait 5 more mins. About 10-15 mins later food arrived and we were told that they had lost our ticket. Not really any apology. Food was nice however felt like it had been sitting around as was not very hot. Such a shame as is a lovely pub but clearly can't cope when busy.

A simple non pretentious pub. Just what you need. We’ve only eaten here once and it’s a simple pub grub. We mostly come here for a drink of beer and it’s always lovely. HPA is often on tap, one of the most popular ales in the area. Staff are always very friendly and clientele is decent. After having some really bad experiences in pubs in the area, it’s a delight to visit this non pretentious pub with no cliquey and judgemental people. It’s one of my favourite places in the area and just down the road from us.

We were in our working clothes so only drank and ate outside but enjoyed our visit. We will visit again.

Pleasant pub nice friendly atmosphere. Chips excellent but a little lacking on the amount of cheese on my cheese and onion ciabatta.

Came rexommend and went on a week night as a birthday treat. Drinks a tad more expensive than some other local places. Food was good quality but portion sizes IMO a little on the small side. Would go back for their two for afternoon deals but would be very disappointed if food portions are cut down to boot.

We've just had a meal here and it was really enjoyable. The quality of the food was top notch. Really would recommend the Hare & Hounds. Staff were also great.

Disappointed overall for a Christmas party evening with group of friends. No decs on tables, Food was very average quality . Team serving were pleasant but overall experience would not make me return anytime soon.

It's not too far from Kidderminster, and though the car park isn't perfect, it has a lot of character. They go all out to make your visit enjoyable. This is probably the only pub that does an all-day breakfast on a Sunday. There is a lot to choose from on the menu. If you have dietary requirements, they are happy to help. They have a good understanding of gluten-free and cross-contamination. Thexwait from order to food on the table was short. They have a choice if chips sweet potato fries, curly fries, or chunky chips! Staff were friendly, and I was made to feel comfortable. They also cater to people who prefer smaller portion sizes. I'm happy to give this a recommendation.

We went for sunday lunch majority of the veg was raw just warm meat was tough one of our party is coeliac and had a dry roast dinner as there was no gluten free gravy? He had brown sauce ? Not really good enuff gluten free granules are excellent and keep for ages maybe a suggestion for the future ? We had desserts and they were nice.

Well laid out and warm on a cold day. Food fine. Beer choice limited at time of my visit, but it appears they normally stock a wider range. Outside area to sit in, plus ample sized carpark.

Great a lovely place to get Sunday lunch staff were friendly and attentive. Our first visit as we usually go to the sister pub The Old House at Home but equally as good a nice choice to go somewhere different but get the same quality and value. Thank you all Update as we have visited a few times I've included a picture of the Sunday lunch which has the large option. I also have my gravy on the side as I don't like as much as most people.

Spacious seating, great menu with good portions. Fish cakes were yummy and chips perfect, big and chunky. Outdoor area looked ideal for summer nights.

We sat outside as it was such a lovely sunny day 😎. Pub was quite busy so expected to have to wait. As we got our meal there was no knifes and forks brought or on the table so my husband had to go looking for them. Otherwise service was great and always friendly..Meal lovely..

We stayed in one of their lodges. Very comfortable and clean. During our stay we ate and drank in the Hare and Hounds. The meals and drinks were good and the staff were all polite and helpful. You can see why the place is so popular.

I enjoyed a meal here many years ago and when driving past recently noticed the offer of 2 mains for £14. We both chose the Wexford Chicken, which was very tasty and a reasonable portion size for the money. We went on to order a dessert and tea too, so it wasn't as reasonable a lunch as it could have been !!!! The food was well cooked and good quality. A pleasant experience and I'm happy to recommend it to you. Quite busy too for lunchtime which was pleasing to see. I've been back a few times for the Wexford Chicken as it's something different to other eateries we go to. Busy again on a Thursday lunchtime and the staff had to keep on their toes to cope. Food was served piping hot and was as good as usual. High ceiling in the main part of the restaurant meant it wasn't unbearably hot in there.

Stopped here for lunch on way to Kidderminster. Nice pub, good service, pleasant dining area. Both had Full English breakfast which was large and tasty.

Would recommend, friendly staff and delicious food. Popped in on our way back from Stourport and very glad we did. We choose our meals from the specials menu and there was a lot of choice in the food menu as well. Hopefully next time we will have enough space to try one of the sundaes 🍨

It was absolutely lovely. I struggle to find places my autistic child finds comfortable to be in for meals out, but she loved it here straight away. We will be coming back.

Sat out in the garden, which was nicely set out. Food was easy to order from the bar. Menu offers a good selection to choose from, at a reasonable price. Service was quick, and staff were all polite and friendly. Highly recommended.

We descended unexpectedly here today in a group of 12 after being let down somewhere else. What a lovely place. The food was excellent and Shane and the rest of the staff were fabulous!!.. we were celebrating my Dads Birthday so thank you for saving the day. Will most definitely be back.

1st time here , quite a long wait for food but that was down to the time we arrived (1-45 ) . By 2,30 dmthe pub was quite quiet . Will definitely go back again

I booked one of the new rooms for a guest coming from Germany to do a seminar locally, the room was brand new, had everything needed, very nicely done. We used the conservatory for a meeting and had drinks throughout the time there, we often come here as a group for drinks, ice creams and food, the staff are always very friendly and helpful, thank you 🐾

Portions have got much smaller,and not impressed.Paid for a large scampi and chips,and had only 1 extra scampi compared to my friend who had the smaller version.
