Complete thieves. Spent £30 and ordered on deliveroo at 18:00pm and was waiting over 3+ hours for my food (still waiting). They were consistently lying to me and Deliveroo saying my food was on its way and that they've called my phone multiple times. They never did. Just checked the app the next day and my order was apparently delivered and completed at 22:30pm, Another lie. Seems to be a recurring theme based on the other reviews. Do not order from this place ever! AVOID!!!

FRAUD! Food didn’t turn up, called was on its way. One hour later still not here sat in waiting! Deliveroo contacting and on chat for one hour. Still not here. 2 hour 2 in total. Then denied delivery. Very clear when looking at street view is dodgy. Took phone off the hook, will be paying them a visit this week! STAY AWAY!!

If I could give zero stars I would! Ordered at 6pm and after over an hour of telling me my food is ‘on the way’, we are still sat waiting at 8:30pm. They couldn’t be bothered after complaining so just took the £30 we spent and claimed to have delivered the food. Absolute fraudsters - avoid, avoid, avoid!

I always get told the same 45 minutes but tonight it was nearly 2 hours late. Phoned up twice, another 15 minutes, another 15 minutes will not use again. No sorry or they tried to help.

Ordered at 6-10 said it would arrive by 6-50 eventually arrived at 8pm.called twice to be asked what’s the address yes the driver is here it will be 10 minutes, called again to get the same response. It was cold and had no taste.The chicken balls had been refried several times and could not be eaten so dry and the knife nearly broke cutting into them! Will not be ordering again. Have always used them before and it’s been good but never again.

Had an issue with a previous order but they rectified it and we had a lovely meal. We use this place a lot and highly recommend it. Very tasty

I'm struggling to use Internet appropriate words while writing this review, the other reviews suffer exactly the same horrifying fate I did when ordering here however I am beyond livid so will continue anyhow. The food took over 2 hours to arrive from initially ordering it and after the indicated delivery time we called up to only be met with "what's the address? Okay it'll be 15 mins", when looking on Google maps I found the place to be 20 minutes away by car, make it make sense please. Called back to express my intense displeasure at having to wait for such a painstakingly long time and the lady told me that as long as I ordered through deliveroo I could get a refund/complain through them, well you can guess what happened next! More lies as deliveroo informed me that any type of refund or complaint would have to go directly through the resteraunt, I can only assume by the vast myriad of 1 star reviews that she will undoubtedly have had many complaints before and has elected to fob me off thinking that will be the end of it.....well it isn't, my outrage is immeasurable and my demeanor is well and truly wrecked, luckily for us the food is actually good when/if it arrives, my honest advice is to get a chopstix or just cook, you'll find more satisfaction and have learnt a valuable life skill, happy Sunday.

Ordered salt n pepper squid and Singapore noodles, was told 40 mins for delivery... called when it was 35 mins late, heard woman say to person I was on phone "it's on table".. told it be with me soon.. arrived 10 minutes later.. squid was so overcooked it was like chewing cardboard.. as for the Singapore noodles, one taste and I couldn't eat it.. dry bland, no flavour.. friend tried it and we decided best place for it was the bin... never again.

After waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes I received someone else's cold order entirely. Not sure how this place actually functions. Please do not order from here, you will be disappointed.

Visited 2 weeks back for a quick Chinese. Service was quick , the lady behind the counter was pleasant. The food was nice, we just had some rice and seaweed and it was pleasant. Would definitely use them again if back in the area.

Order here a lot and the food is really nice. The only thing is they always deliver the food early even when I select a time & I state in the notes. This is the 5th time now food has arrived over an hour early before other guests have arrived or before my partner is back from work

This has been our favourite Chinese takeaway for years. The food is always high quality and service is second to none. We tried curry from many other shops but still think theirs tastes the best! We order on a regular basis and people are really nice there.

My friends and I have always enjoyed the food from here and last night 13/4 was even more delicious, perfectly cooked and hot on delivery which wasn't as long as expected. Very happy customer thankyou.

I wouldn’t ever get a delivery from here. Took them over 1hr 20. Phoned in to say it hadn’t arrived at the 30 min mark and told me it would be 15 minutes. It took them another 40 minutes to arrive here. The woman who answered the phone wasn’t very helpful either. Food was alright though, service needs to improve!

Food was delicious! Especially the chow mein and pork balls, only negative was the sauces are tiny!! Only enough for one person really, other than that the food was thoroughly enjoyed, so tasty.

Not the best experience with this restaurant. We ordered a delivery that took just under 2 hours to arrive and when it did it was freezing cold. When re heated it was near on inedible. Called the restaurant a few times to which was pointless as the girl that answered did nothing but sarcastically laugh with a crappy attitude when telling us how long it was going to be….to which every time she did the times kept changing. Shame really but at least we now know to read the reviews of the next place we order from.

Ordered food at 7:50pm food arrived at 10pm after 4 phonecalls to be told 10 minutes each time our food finally arrived and it was disgusting how you can serve food like this is beyond me and the last time i ever order from here what a waste of a shop and my time and money seen better looking food come out my a**

Poor, very, very poor. We placed an order for delivery within 45 minutes. Called after an hour was advised no more than 15 minutes, called after an hour and a half, advised 3-5 minutes. That was over 10 minutes ago. Still no food. Totally unacceptable.

Re-ordered a delivery, What can I say my Chinese was not the same, wrong style of noodle, took 1 and half hours to arrive, COLD COLD COLD, the worst Chinese I have ever had in my life, I rang twice and each time i was told its on the way, they are 10 min away... I will be popping in and giving them my honest opinion.... terrible experience

Ordered today and it’s nearly been 3 hours since we ordered our food. My partner rung up and all we got was “it’s with the driver it’ll be 10 minutes” it’s been 20 minutes since he phoned up. Not happy at all, very very poor delivery service.

The woman who served us went out of her way to provide excellent service, including cooking meals from scratch for our coeliac needs. Definite 5 star and very tasty, value for money food.

Food is hit and miss had before covid and it was great. Ordered yesterday and it was awfull really raw onion. Noodles were bland no taste And smoked chicken was overdone dident eat it. Took 1.5 hours to get To me. Was not hot by that time.

Food is fine but the service is absolutely dreadful. On more than one occasion we have waited above and beyond for our food to arrive and when it does, its lukewarm at best. Communication from their front of house team is very obviously pulled out of thin air with no guidance whatsoever. I genuinely don't know why we use this place.

Food is good tbf service is shocking. 3 times delivery has taken over hour and a half when quoted 45 mins and 1 occasion 2 and a half hours was wrong order and cold. Went there to collect after poor delivery service and turn up to collect and told they only take cash as card machine wasn't working no mention of this when I ordered and was told quite rudely to go to a cash point.. so food is good but shocking service all round won't be returning

Second time having food from here and both times having been superb. The food is incredible and a taste sensation. Doesn't give you that fat/guilty feeling and instead leaves you licking the dinner plate. Will be back, thank you for my meals.

Food burnt, chips undercooked and when trying to sort out the problem they say “there is nothing wrong with the food” learn to cook!!!!

Minimum order of almost £30, £4 delivery fee (during covid no less) and most of the food ended up being fed to the dogs as it was bland and tasteless (curry sauce, chips and rice). Will not order again as it was a waste of £40. We waited for an hour for the delivery and had not eaten all day so we ate as much as we could instead of calling the restaurant (and potentially waiting again or getting the same quality food).

NEVER order a take away from here! We have been customers for so long and last night 17.04.20 we waited 3 and a half hours for our take away to arrive. Ordered at 19.10pm and it got to us for 22.30om. We did not accept the food. No phone call to update us. Unacceptable! I tried contacting the restaurant 44 times continuously engaged! SERVICE is diabolical!

1 star is too much for this restaurant.Ordered at 18.40 told would be delivered at 19.45 came to 19.45 and no food had arrived rang restaurant ro be told it would be another it would be another half an hour so that works out as 20.15 yet again didn't turn up at that time stated. Trued to call restaurant but they took phone off the hook and the food finally turned up at 20.40. The food was bland and warm. Expected better from an overpriced restaurant Let's just say will never be going here again.

Awful. First time ordered and I’m still waiting nearly an hour after promised delivery time. Tried calling them 72 times off my phone and about the same off my wife’s! No answer, number always busy. Email order confirmation says call or email of order late. Did both, no reply.

Ordered at 7.15pm and told our food would be delivered at 8.21 but no we didn’t get our food until 9pm and then it was not up to standard very small portion of chicken we ordered And food was warm not hot and quite tasteless meal , won’t be going back for a while

Never got to taste the food so can’t comment on that. I ordered through just eat on Saturday night at 5:30pm. Said it would be delivered by 6:40pm. That was fine. Got to just after 7pm, tried to call the restaurant.....about 10 times as every time the number was busy. Managed to send a text through just eat to the restaurant....they came back saying it will now be delivered at 7:45pm. That was ok with us....but of a pain but due to circumstances, we didn’t mind it being late. Got to 8ish, tried to few more times to call the restaurant.....no answer. Just eat tried to call the restaurant, no answer. We decided to cancel the order through just eat at about 8:45pm, within minutes I got a call from the restaurant saying they could deliver it within 10 mins if I ordered all again. After waiting almost 3 hours, we were not prepared to do that. Absolutely terrible customer service!

Wasnt happy with the food, both the rice tastes like it had been boiled and was very very dry, the pain chow main was like rubber, everything but the curry sauce lacked any kind of flavour, 1st time customer and can definitely say that will be the last.

Ordered our food for new years, was over 1 hour late, we phoned up to find out where are food was the lady on the other end of the phone just hung up. When we got the food it was disgusting had to throw away about 80%... never again We will be sticking with Peony in westend in future. And getting a kabab when it is closed. Was very over priced for the quality of food.

If i could give zero stars I would. Ordered from here and while I appreciate it is New Years, we were told that it would be later than anticipated, half an hour at the most. An hour later and when called, we were told 'its almost done and then it'll be out for delivery'. We decided that wasn't good enough considering the price being high compared to others, so phoned to cancel the order to be told the reason it was late, was in fact, because somebody else had called to cancel their order and they thought it was ours. Either they are incompetent and somebody who cancelled their order received their food (unlikely), OR they took on too much, and then proceeded to lie. No thanks, shan't be ordering from here again. Total letdowns.

Incredibly rude people. One of the dishes that was delivered was wrong. I rang them to tell them and had the person on the end of the phone argue with me that they had sent the correct dish. I ordered duck in plum sauce and they delivered it in pineapple sauce. Apparently "it IS plum sauce because we put pineapple on duck in plum sauce". It was about half a tin of pineapple though, goodness knows what they put on the pineapple sauce dish. It wasn't so much the mistake that was bad, it was the woman on the phone who flatly refused to accept that a mistake had been made and kept arguing with me. I would not accept this level of rudeness in a restaurant, and I don't expect it over the phone.

Absolute joke. The restaurant is only 12 minutes drive away. Phoned up 3 times and was asked to keep waiting. Made the order at 7.20pm and it still hadnt arrived at 9.00pm which was over double the stated waiting time. No apology given. I was told that the place was busy when on the phone but the driver sent out with my order only had 1 extra delivery ontop of mine... First time ordering from here and I will never touch it again. Waste of money and time.

Just had a shocking experience. Our food turned up very late, cold, inedible and dry. The chicken wasn’t worth touching because we didn’t want to get ill, it was really dodgy. We ordered curry sauce and they gave us something different instead - you can’t just replace things in the order that we’ve paid for, it’s a waste of our money. Terrible service. Complained and asked for a refund and was offered ONE free item next time. They think we’re going to go there again, really? We’re not. We usually order from there once a week but after 2 bad experiences, never again. That’s £22 we’ll never see again and an evening without dinner. Avoid!!!!!

This Chinese was the worst we have ever had everything was inedible, expensive and the whole lot went in the bin, plus the driver added £2 on the bill for himself if you are thinking of ordering from here don't waste you money :!!!!!!

Disgusting experience. Cold food. Half an hour late. The worst phone service I have ever received. Wouldn't even offer a refund! Would never ever use this place again unless you like your Chinese late and cold!! Be prepared to be shouted at even if you are a paying customer!

Very tasty, beef in black bean sauce especially. It arrived hot and 20 mins earlier than expected which was fine with us. The only criticism would be that the szechuan chicken was a little light on the chicken. We'll be ordering again.

Terrible food, worse Chinese I've ever had, I was actually wondering if anyone Chinese actually cooked it, normally order from peeking Phoenix in Eastleigh but was closed so ordered from here terrible food me and my misses both thought the same and left ours, which led me to going online to see what other people say about this place terrible, wouldn't order again.
